PRECISION TILING

We decided to go with them and they are doing the work right now. My husband called and we got a call back from them but the estimate took a day or two longer than we expected other than it was a good experience. So far the professionalism is good. They responded very quickly.

They were very good. They responded quickly, they were here when they were supposed to be, and I was pleased with the way the project turned out. The wall looks awesome. I am a perfectionist and there are just a few minor things that I would have done differently.

Joe came to see the place and provided an estimate within a reasonable time. He was honest upfront about being busy for the next few weeks. Having a experience with someone who juggled too many jobs at once, I appreciated Joe's philosophy of "one job at the time". We scheduled a date and he came on the date we scheduled. We had few loose tiles in the shower that suggested possible leak, but we knew that we won't know the real condition until the tiles are removed. After the removal, we discovered that the some rotten wood. Jimmy and Jow found the source of the leak. They cleaned the wall and suggested to wait one week until everything get dry. After one week they came back and completed the job in a VERY professional way. We had some unfinished work in the kitchen and they finished it for us. They are VERY professional, organized, clean and most importantly super-nice. I highly recommend precision tiling and will definitely contact them for future jobs.

Overall an excellent experience. They were on time, worked quickly and kept within the budget we had discussed while still performing good work. They provided suggestions that not only improved the quality of the work but were also cost effective. I would definitely higher them again.

When I called Lucian he responded right away and was very easy to get him out for an estimate. I believe he was there within a day. He came later in the evening to accommodate my schedule. He gave a fair estimate and we then decided when he could get out to do the job which was within 3 weeks. We first met him at a tile store and he helped us pick out our tiles. He did the rest, picked them up, etc. There were a few issues once the job began but mostly due to the condition of the previous shower. When it called for a plumber he had one out and gave us a good deal with his connection. There was another minor set back because the tile did not come in on time so the only negative is that the job ended up taking 3 weeks instead of the 1 we were quoted. Because of this Lucian also helped out in another room that needed drywall and repainting. He essentially did this all gratis except for some supplies to offset the extra time on the shower job. He was also very willing to make minor corrections to the painting and compounding that he did when he repaired the wall around the stall shower. He made it look the way we wanted which was very nice. The shower came out beautiful and then when we used it we had some water issues due to the door. Lucian came back right away and fixed it. He also sent a great cleaning crew to our house to clean up any mess and they cleaned the whole house as well. This was no charge to us. (He was pretty clean throughout the project as well and never left a big mess behind when he was done for the day) We were very pleased with his service, he guarantees all of his work for a year. He is very nice, easy to work with and accommodating to our busy schedules. He has a great product and the shower will last forever.

Of 5 tile installers I contacted, only Joe called back in the first 24 hours. We set a time to review the job. Joe was late to our initial appointment but was in constant contact regarding his ETA. After getting Joe's quote and ordering my tile, we scheduled a time the next week to start the job. Joe and his folks showed up on time worked according to the quoted schedule. Only change order was plywood underlayment. Original scope had included new backerboard but, on removal of existing backerboard and condition of the underlayment, Joe recommended new 1/4" plywood underlayment.

He did a terrific job. He was great. He said he could do the work on the weekend. So it worked out well because my daughter and her roommate were away. I had to do it outside and then leave it inside because of the rainy weather. He was terrific. He was wonderful. He cleaned up the mess and everything. He did a really good job. He really knew what he was doing. The work turned out perfect. The price was very fair. He was actually late. The first time he was only ten minutes late and the second day he was about forty five minutes late. He had to do the grouting on the second day. He was not perfect on punctuality. I would use his services again in the future.

I felt comfortable working with Joseph because he was very professional and personable and inspired confidence. He stuck to his original estimate which he had given me over the phone. He also arrived promptly and did not exceed the original time estimate. He protected my carpet and furnishings and cleaned up after himself. I love the way my bathtub looks now!

It was a very good experience. He took pride in his work and he was very thorough. He was considerate of what the plumbers needs would be. He had respect for my property. I didn't have a toilet so he made sure that he disposed of the water grout properly. He was just a professional.

Couldn't have gone better! We had a problem with a water leak from our tiled shower to neighbor's ceiling below. Two plumbers had ruled out issues with the drain or pan, but had not idenitifed any issues with the grout. Precision came out shortly after we called and spent quite a bit of time looking at the grout and tile and identified a few areas where the grout needed to be replaced. They returned next day, cleaned out old grout and re-sealed the tiles. No more leak!

They said that it would be better if I would use a wood floor. It was a really good experience but they didn?t do the work. They came over and spent a lot of time looking at the floor because there was a problem with it. This was for a sunroom floor that was kind of tilted. They were concerned about the tile staying on the floor and whether it would break. He actually brought over a contractor to take a look at the floor. He finally advised me to do a wood floor. He put in a lot of work and then didn?t get the job because he gave me the correct information.

Joe and his assistant did and excellent job and were extremely professional and reliable. Joe responded to my call right away and scheduled an estimate the following day. He understood the deadline I was under to meet my listing date and open house the following weekend and rearranged his schedule to complete the work ahead of my deadlines. Joe spent the time reviewing the issues and suggested doing the least amount of work for the best result and lowest cost. The result was a fresh clean look to my master bathroom. I would highly recommmend Joe and his team and will definitely call Joe when I am ready to renovate my new place!

Joe's estimate for the work was much higher than that of another company, but we felt he might be more experienced than the other one. He was consistently and substantially late even though each time he promised to come on time. He found that he could not repair the cracks in one of the bathrooms with new mosaic tiles, so he urged us to lay tile over the existing floor (after considerable preparation and plumbers having to come in to remove fixtures). This had been recommended by the other tile company, who thought the repair would be very difficult. So the price we paid was higher than the original estimate, and the job took much longer. We have not yet received the plumbing bill for removing and replacing fixtures. The quality of the job was mixed -- the basic work was good, but his attention to detail was missing (such as the wrong grout color on some walls).

Joe Frederick provided a bid and installation date and did exactly what he contracted for in a very timely and professional manner. His price was much lower than other contractors and the job was completed as estimated and looks beauitiful.

They did an excellent job and they were prompt in coming out to look at the job and getting us a quote. Their price was very fair and, even though he was very busy at the time, he was able to squeeze us in very quickly. He finished up in a day and it was a very good experience.

Previous tile work by another company was done improperly. Over 17 tiles had to come up and be reset. This was very difficult work. He assured me if there was any problem he would come right back. He was very responsive and efficient. You'll like working with him. He really knows tile.

Johnny responded promptly and gave us a fair price. We were having an open house and wanted a nice job but at a reasonable price. It looked great in time for our open house!

Went very well. Joe is detail oriented, timely in his work, and performed a beautfiul job. He liaised well with our interior designer. He was prompt in arriving, and worked hard through the Memorial Day long weekend to complete our job. We will use him again in connection with our kitchen and 2nd bathroom renovation, as well as other tile work around the house we contemplate doing over the coming year.

Joe was extremely professional, responsive and knowledgeable. He took time to explain things. He was meticulous, exact and was careful to keep our place clean. He also made sure to clean up well afterwards. I thought his price was extremely reasonable. He did a fantastic job in our kitchen. I would definitely use him again for any future work and would not hesitate to recommend him.

They came and gave me a quote. They were responsive and they were professional. They followed up and I had no complaints with the interaction.

Joe did an excellent job. He worked with a contractor on the demolition and rebuilding of the floor and walls. He did the tiling and regrouting. The building is old (1920's) and I wanted to keep as much of the original tile as possible. I chose a difficult tile to work with (penny tile) but Joe did a really excellent job. It was difficult work getting things aligned (since the old walls that I was keeping weren't exactly square any longer), and he put it all together seamlessly. It did end up going over on time and cost but I have come to expect that with construction. It still ended up being a good price.

We were extremely impressed and satisfied with Joe Frederick's work from start to finish. He responded right away when I called for an estimate and came the next day to offer an estimate for the job. Joe was courteous, professional and the quality of his work is excellent. He finished the job in three days as promised. His work and attention to detail is phenomenal. We are extremely happy with the new floor. I would highly recommend Precision Tile.

Joe at Precision Tiling was responsive & reliable from the start. He promptly visited for a free estimate & patiently answered my questions, and I had many as this was my first renovation project. Joe gave me great suggestions, such as the ogee chair rail, that I absolutely love! He was very sensitive to my concern over dust from the demo & designed a plastic wall to guard the rest of my apartment. He paid close attention to the detail of the tile layout. He cleaned up after the work was completed. The result is a luxurious marble bathroom that feels like a spa experience. Highly recommended! Very well. The work had been done previously by another contractor who did a poor job, probably because the tiles were difficult to work with. Joe took samples of the tile back to his workshop to ensure that he could work with them. He did a great job, efficiently and promptly.
