PRECISION TILING

Excellent. We had a very small time-frame for the job to be done and a specific budget. He and his crew were on-time, very clean in the apartment and respectful towards everyone. Joe even added some ideas to matching tile pattern to rest of bathroom, which turned out great at less expense. He didn't do any unnecessary work, and the final result looks super. I would definitely hire Joe again--great job!

Although provider was prompt to come and look at the job and was pleasant when he measured and assessed the job. He was totally unprofessional in terms of his follow-up and lack of responsiveness. Over 2+ weeks time period, he never provided a quote on the job, despite multiple promises to do so. Unfortunately, it was a total waste of time. If he could not keep his commitments prior to winning the job, I would concerned about his professionalism after he started the job..

Joe Frederick did a superb job of tiling my front door foyer using a picture of the pattern I fell in love with. He told me that the pattern would be no problem. Joe and His helper Skylar were a pleasure to work with. Joe had to start by removing the existing wall to wall carpeting and padding being careful to leave a perfect edge to butt up against the new tile. I asked him if we had to remove my hardwood floor at the bottom as another contractor said and after inspecting it he declared that it was in perfect condition and wouldn't I prefer to have someone else come and restore my entire hardwood floor. How many contractors do you know who suggest you not employ them for your benefit? I told him I really wanted the thru body porcelain tile so we could use the front door during inclement weather. So after checking a couple of other contractors it was no question I wanted to go with Joe. Joe recommended a fabulous subfloor material called Ditras that can go over somewhat uneven bases. He installed that then spent a great deal of time creating the pattern to match what I wanted. Joe kept checking with me to make sure I was pleased with how things were working out. The next day his helper Skylar cut, using a wet saw outside, nearly 100 exacting shapes to go with the 12"x12" tiles that I purchased. Joe laid out the tiles and spacers on the mortar. The next day Joe carefully applied the grout and wiped it all down so that there was no residue on the tile. I strongly recommend that you hire Joe for any type of tiling project you might have. He and his helper Skylar are truly pleasant and accommodating. (They made sure my indoor cat stayed indoors.) I will happily hire them for any future projects.

Precision Tiling fell in my top three companies after narrowing down from other tile contractors that I had come out to evaluate the best approach at fixing my kitchen floor. Joe came out and gave the less disruptive, most economical and efficient solution. He had the best advice and I am happy I went with this company. I have an open floor plan and needed to have the floor corrected with a smooth transition to three other rooms.The previous installer did a lousy job. I I had them tear up the tiles from the kitchen floor and reinstall. I also had them install a backsplash.They both took their time and the floor and backsplash look very nice and professionally done. I am very pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend Precision Tiling and would not hesitate to contact them again for any future projects.

Joe and his team were excellent. They even were able to schedule us earlier than anticipated. They were punctual, neat, and efficient with their time. They absolutely know their stuff. Joe was dead-on with his time estimate and only a few dollars higher than his original price estimate due to some additional materials needed. The floor looks amazing and my only regret is not having hired them sooner. I highly recommend Precision Tiling!

Joseph and his team stripped the floor, sanded the tiles, relaid a new board and the tiles. His job was perfection and the tiles stayed down. Precision tile does work professionally, on time and on price. I hired them to replace tiles in our shower as well. Perfection. Will call on him again if we need tile work in the future.

Joe did an excellent job and were very professional. He met me beforehand for an estimate and a recommendation for a tile vendor. With an older construction, the demolition of old tile was a big endeavor, and we're glad that we didn't do it ourselves! Joe and Jim arrived at a consistent time during the several days of work and were easy to communicate with throughout the project, giving me updates on the day's work and upcoming tasks. The new tile has transformed the look of the bathtub, and I'm very pleased with the outcome!

Joe and his helpers were terrific! Joe himself came by to provide an estimate, and he was very thorough in gathering the information he needed on the scope of the project. I was able to follow up with him via email to get the estimate and to ask some questions. We scheduled a time over the phone, and Joe did a great job of fitting us in as quickly as possible. Joe and his two helpers were polite, hard working and a pleasure to have around. We have had several other tile jobs completed over the year, and there were always details that were rushed through or missed. This was the first time I felt truly happy with a tile job from start to finish. Since our job was completed, we have already had several people (including a few other contractors working on the kitchen) comment on the excellent quality of the tile install. Joe is going to return to help me resolve some other tile issues in our house, and I am so glad that I found him. I can't recommend Joe highly enough.

He showed up on time and stuck to his price. He stayed until the work was completed. He cleaned up after themselves and took away the trash.

Joe and Jim both did a fabulous job! They were professional, upfront about everything, always communicated what was going on, and did an A+ job on the tiling. Jim is a former carpenter, which came in real handy when they had to level the subfloor. They were very busy when we called them (as were all the other good tilers in demand), so it took some effort and repeated calls/texts/emails, but once we were on their docket, it was smooth sailing. I would highly recommend them.

We should have taken before and after pictures because the results are amazing. It really does look like a new bath.

This is my second job with Joe and Jim. Nice guys, artistic eye, neat, precise. They care about their customers and it shows. They know what they are doing and there are no surprises. The contractor didn't put the door casing on properly so there was a gap between casing and door and Joe came back to fix that. The bathroom looks great. You can trust these guys every time. A pleasure!

I was in a bit of a bind in that I had purchased tile from a local shop and they were suppose to install it, however, they were having a tough time getting me in the schedule (despite me being scheduled a month in advance!). My wife is pregnant with twins and due any day now, so I called Joe to request a quote and explained the situation to him (no bathroom with a 2 year old and to more on the way!). He was able to make the trip out the next day (not a short drive either) to provide a quote! Joe was on time, polite, professional, and in addition to taking measurements, he took a look at the sample tile that I had at the house to see what he would be installing. Joe sent me an email the following day that included an detailed and itemized quote for the work on his business letterhead. As it turns out, I was able to have the tile installed so I did not end up using Joe's services. I did, however, want to write him a review because I was very impressed with his responsiveness and willing to flex his schedule to try and accommodate the predicament I was in - this was greatly appreciated. Although I did not see his work in person, from all the other reviews and pictures I have seen, I have no doubt he would have done a great job. I will definitely keep Joe in mind should another project come up.

Joe and Jimmy were terrific. They ripped out the old floor repaired the shower stall pan that had holes in it from the previous guy! Installed new tile and matched it beautifully. They went above and beyond to find a drain cover that fit correctly. Very professional, prompt and cleaned up after they were done. Would definitely hire them again. Very happy with my shower than now drains properly!

Joe was fantastic with positive attitude and he did know what he was talking about. He was familiar with the old-fashioned., unglazed, flat mosaic tile and diagnosed what had gone wrong immediately. I told the general if found someone to fix or re do the work his sub has screwed up, but (unfortunately for me) all it took was one other professional that concurred that a fix was possible to insist on trying to fix it themselves and not have to pay someone else. By that point, there was a whole other problem with the same renovation, so I just told them to fix it if they thought they could. They couldn't, naturally. But, it's better than the first time they tried it. Someday, when I am out of the red from this monster home ren, I will just have Joe come year it out and do it right.

It was wonderful to have Joe and Jim working on our house. Those two have perhaps the healthiest, most respectful working partnership I've ever seen. Beyond that, they were a pleasure to interact with and their work was impeccable. We had used a different (also very highly rated) tiling contractor for another recent bathroom job and they were fine, but the attention to detail wasn't there and we never saw the owner of the company again after he gave the estimate. With Joe, you get him for the estimate and you get him for the full job. Joe and Jim both have a great eye for detail and they're easy to communicate with -- both on the job and by email before, during, and after. We had our glass shower door installed recently, and even that contractor commented on what a nice job they had done. As he put it, he sees all kinds of jobs, so he knows good when he sees it.

It went perfectly. In a word, perfectly. Joe and Jim are professionals. They have an eye for detail. They live up to their name: the work is very precise. They arrive precisely on time. They leave the work area very clean and neat. Great ideas for tile and grout colors. Yes, they are friendly, smart, experienced. More than that, the quality of their work is excellent. I am thrilled with the craftsmanship. The end result is gorgeous. There is nothing about this job I can complain about or be disappointed in. It really exceeded my expectations. I feel lucky I found Precision Tiling on Angie's List. I will use them again and whole heartedly refer them to others. I have had my share of bad luck with contractors. Tide has turned. These guys know what they are doing. I trust them. The price was very fair. Anyone lucky enough to get on their schedule will be very satisified with the results.

I called Joe to get an estimate on how much it wopuld cost to demo and re-tile a tub surround. I contacted Joe at a busy time for him, when he was working on multiple jobs, but he was able to call me back within a few days. When I spoke with him on the phone, we set up a day for him to come to my property and give an estimate for the re-tile job. Joe was punctual, arriving at my home right on time. He was very friendly and outgoing, honest, and professional. He took some measurements of the tub surround and we talked about the work I wanted completed. Joe told me he would email me an estimate for the work within a few days. Joe emailed me the estimate which was a competitive rate. However, I ended up deciding to go with another tiler, who quoted me a lower price than Joe, and who I was also confident (from his reputation and customer reviews) would do a good job re-tiling my bath surround. Although I decided ultimately not to hire Joe for my re-tiling project, I had a great experience with him from a customer satisfaction standpoint. For anyone who is thinking of hiring Joe, I don't think you can go wrong.

Sent an e-mail describing the work I needed done and asking for a quote to do the job. No response. Nothing. Unfortunately, this seems to be par for the course for tile contractors. I have contacted at least 6 companies about quoting the job. Not one of them returned the call or answered an e-mail. Frustrating.

job was beautiful done. we are very pleased with the result. curbless showers, sloping floors, rear wall floor drains and no shower door are not typical installations so we were glad that we contracted with joe to do the work. only glitch was that i had ordered the tiles before i had selected a tiling contractor and i did not get the number of tiles needed correct. we had to pause the job briefly while more tiles were ordered and delivered. the only problem with the project was that joe had to delay starting our work because of problems with job in line before us. it was not a long delay and i think that is just part of what happens when several people are working on a project, each with their own time pressures and schedules. we would heartily recommend joe and his crew for tiling work.

When I initially called Joe, he asked me to email my contact info and promised to call me later in the evening to set a time to come by and quote the job. He called as promised and committed to coming out the next day at 11 am. He was on time and a pleasure to work with. We ultimately did not use him for our job as the original tiler called us later that day to indicate he could in fact do our kitchen backsplash. I let Joe know right away so he would not have to work on a quote. I would recommend Joe.

Joe's team did a beautiful work for our kitchen backsplash. Response was quick from the very beginning. Price was fair and team members are very professional and nice. Great experience with this company.
