After I called, Matthew Bloom first came to the house to measure and give an estimate. He was right on time, discussed all our options thoroughly and gave us a written estimate. The next step was for me to choose a fabric at the shop. This took longer than it should have due to a death in his family, but that was certainly understandable. With his advice, I was able to choose a fabric which I thought would look nice and indeed it does. The drapes were ready in about two weeks and Matthew was able to accommodate my schedule when he came to install them. The installation went smoothly and the drapes are perfect. There were two pieces missing in the package which he has promised to get to us within a week.

They are fabulous and are a great company. They are very good and responsive. After the furniture was returned I had a few concerns about the cushions but they took it back and fixed it with out any additional cost. The delivery guys are just great, they were helpful in moving things around when they came in to deliver. They are a very easy and nice company to deal with.

I was immediately impressed with Richard Bloom's responsiveness to my phone call. He met me in his showroom and assisted me in choosing fabric. When it turned out my husband vetoed the chosen fabric, I called Richard and he cancelled the fabric order. Due to my work schedule, I dropped off my chair and footstool to him, along with fabric I supplied, rather than have him pick them up from my house. Three weeks passed and I heard nothing. When I called, Richard said the pieces would be ready in 2 days, and I picked them up. Because they were covered with plastic sheeting, instead of inspecting them [as I should've done], I allowed Richard to carry them to my car. When I got home I found that the fabric on the chair was crooked and off-center, the medallion on the footstool was rotated 90 degrees, and the seat cushion overhung the chair, which would have led to premature breakdown of the cushion. I called Richard and he agreed to redo the pieces. This time he picked up and delivered my furniture, and they were done within one week. The chair has a deep seat, and I am unhappy with the finished product, as there is not enough cushioning at the back of the chair to make it comfortable. Also, the upholstery nails are not symmetrical; for instance, above the left foot there are 4 nails and above the right foot there are only 2 nails.

I have had a chance to use this company a couple of times. I like that they were willing to do the hardware aspect of this job. They did a nice job. They were reliable and the price was decent.

We have used them before and the service is consistently excellent. From providing suggestions and options with an eye toward what is important a combination of aesthetics, quality, price, and longevity. They helped us understand the trade offs between products and worked with us to find just what we wanted. We've used them before and we will certainly use them again.

They are very nice. They pick up and deliver. They had extra fabric so they made us throw pillow at no extra charge. They will give you an estimate of how much fabric that you might need, so you can pick out your own fabric. I like that they are low key and it reflects in their prices.

I did not use his service, but I appreciate his help, and I would use him in the future. Mr. Bloom could not have been more congenial.

Arranged with Matthew to have the sofa and bench picked up but was informed that there would be a 6-8 week turnaround time. I had purchased the material separately. I was called intermittently during the project to update me on the progress. Changes in the design needed to be done because I did not have enough of the braiding. The sofa was delivered but I am still awaiting completion of two pillows for the sofa.

Perfectly. I left a message yesterday, they returned my call in the late afternoon, I dropped off the damaged cushion this morning and picked it up this afternoon. Will do more business with them.

Arrived on time for estimate; lower than other providers, but not the lowest. Several months later, after we chose fabric, arrived on time to take chairs to factory. Delivered chairs on time and professionally. A thoroughly good experience; we'd hire them again without hesitation.

I found Bloom and Company on Angie's List. I called Matt Bloom and left a message and he called me back either the same day or the next day. We set up an appointment right away for him to come over and do an estimate. He came over on time and was very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and friendly. Originally the job was just for the six chairs, but since he was there, I asked him about the couch and I liked what he suggested so much that I asked him to do the back cushions and pillows as well. Matt even told me about a discount place to get fabric, and gave me suggestions as to what kinds of fabric would be good for the job and which ones I should stay away from. He told me that the job would be complete in 6 to 8 weeks, but it actually was done in about 4 or 5 weeks. He was very accommodating with appointment times to return the chair cushions and pillows. There was a small problem to resolve, a separate company was supposed to spray the chair cushions with a stain resistant product. We have allergies, so we did not want the spraying to occur at our house. Apparently there was a miscommunication and the chairs were not sprayed before they were returned to us. No problem! Matt Bloom quickly came and took the chair cushions back to their shop, had them sprayed and back to us in two days! We are very happy with our experience and would use them again in the future.

Richard Bloom picked up our couch on a Tuesday morning and returned 48 hours later on Thursday morning; beautifully repaired. We are delighted with the work!

I found Matt and his partner punctual, friendly, very knowledgeable and efficient. The installation had some complications which Matt discussed and found a solution. No time was wasted and he made some very helpful suggestions about other draperies. I would definitely recommend his company.

Working with a decorator, I selected fabric to reupholster two chairs to go with my sofa and four new pieces I was buying from the furniture store where the decorator is employed. After getting the price for the fabric and reupholstering with the decorator's person, I said I'd like to get a "second opinion" with an Angie's List source. I called Matt Bloom, who said he could provide me with a quote if I could send him a digital picture of the chairs and give him the name and manufacturer of the fabric. Based on that information, Matt quoted a price that saved me $300 on the fabric and re-upholstery (the latter included the 10% Angie's List discount). Bloom & Company came to my house just a few days later to pick up the chairs and said they couldn't be returned for 6-8 weeks due to summer vacation schedules. At about the 6-week point, I called Matt to ask if there was any chance that I could get my chairs in a week because I was having a party. He was able to deliver the chairs the morning of the party, and they are gorgeous! Bloom & Company did such a great job that I regret I didn't know about them when I ordered window treatments because I'm quite sure they would have done as good a job with better fabric choices and at a fair price.

The whole experience was fantastic.

I called for an estimate over the phone and left a message. Mike called back quickly. We talked about the job, and I mentioned that I wanted it quickly, which costs extra. Mike was very pleasant. I bought fabric and dropped off the pillow on a Tuesday, then picked it up Thursday. Mike and his company are very experienced, and he was very knowledgeable. He did this extra quickly as I wanted to take it out of town. He actually came in under estimate [I estimated that the pillow was larger than it was] and did not charge extra for the quick turnaround.

Although we ultimately found the new sofa we'd been seeking and so decided not to proceed with the re-upholstering of our old sofa, we were highly impressed with the home visit and evaluation made by Matthew Bloom, Residential Sales Manager for the firm. We found Mr. Bloom to be knowledgeable, professional, articulate, and cordial. He measured and evaluated the sofa and discussed our many options in the project. Should we require reupholstery services in the future, we will certainly turn to Bloom & Co.

When I look at their website, they seem to do mostly window treatments. But I called them cause they were recommended on Angie's List and were local. Ended up using another company who called me back !

They went out above and beyond to help me. They gave me a discount and was professional and the price was reasonable. He was very punctual and I give him an A.

I had called them and gone in and picked out the fabric and color choice. Since I was still having painting done and other things they kept it at their shop for about three months.

Overall, this was a very good experience. We got off to a shaky start because Richard Bloom had just left for vacation, so after my initial email I had to call twice over a period of two weeks before I got a response. Thereafter I have been very happy. I had a very tight schedule since I was about to leave on vacation and wanted to get the work done while I was away. On the morning of our finally getting in touch with each other Matthew Bloom came to give me the estimate (very reasonable), told me how much fabric to buy (less than recommended by others but accurate), and recommended a store with good prices. I went that midday and selected the fabric, and the couch and chair were picked up that afternoon. They also picked up the fabric at the store. I returned from my two-week vacation and the next day Matthew called to say the pieces were done. They have just been delivered, and I am delighted with the workmanship and overall process, and I won't hesitate to use them again.

I found this company on Angie's List. I called and received a call back within an hour. I explained that we had two chairs, for a total of four cushions, that we wanted recovered. Mathew said I could stop by that day or they could pick it up. I brought fabric I had already purchased for one chair. For the other chair, I told Mathew my ideas for a leather type of covering. He showed me some samples they had on site and could order for cost, but he also recommended another fabric shop with discounted fabrics. He gave me an estimate for all four cushions and the back pillow. The estimate included replacement of three of the four cushions (the foam). I left all four cushions and went to the fabric discount shop. The discount place ordered what I needed, and Bloom & Co. picked it up. Then, they delivered the finished product to my house! They forgot that I ordered the back pillow. They made it and delivered it (and did not charge me for it) within two days of my call about it.

Bloom & Co. was professional and efficient from the initial phone contact through the delivery of completed work. Matthew responded quickly to appointment request for an estimate, arranged for pick-up shortly thereafter and completed the work ahead of estimated schedule. Matthew was helpful in estimating amount of fabric needed and was consistent with the cost estimate. We are pleased and satisfied with how the completed work looks and would use them again without hesitation. Great job.

Richard Bloom called when they were ready to take the chairs. He said it would take 2-3 weeks, and he returned them after 3 weeks. The workmanship was beautiful and these chairs, which were in my parents' house, were restored to their original beauty. We had purchased the fabric beforehand. It has been 3 months, and I'm still admiring them.

Mr. Bloom did a great job on the chair. It took much longer than expected, but the work was good so I would definitely consider using his service again. I do wish he had communicated to me at once that he would be unable to do the repair on the second chair so I could have found someone else in the meantime instead of wasting the several weeks he had the chair in his shop.
