I needed 2 very old sofa cushions reupholstering. They were originally covered in leather but I did not want to spend a lot of money on reupholstering them as the cushions are from a sofa in our attic guest suite which no longer gets a lot of use. Richard was extremely helpful. He understood exactly what I wanted and suggested we covered the cushions with vinyl which is much more affordable. I took the cushions to their workshop and was able to find a vinyl that almost exactly matched the original leather color. 5 weeks later I picked up the reupholstered sofa cushions. They are fantastic. I am so happy with them and they look awesome back on the sofa. Richard was very prompt in getting back to me by email which is very important to me.

I would highly recommend Bloom & Company. The customer service was excellent as well as the quality of the job. It was also very clear that the company cared about ensuring that I was satisfied. The chair was my grandmothers, and although it doesn't contain much financial value, it holds much sentimental value for me. Bloom & Company handled the job with great care - my grandmother would be pleased.

They were easy to work with. They did an excellent job. I will be using them again for some other items.

I visited the showroom to see the kinds of blinds available. Matthew Bloom (owner's son) came to my home to measure windows and returned a couple of weeks later to install them. Work was done quickly and efficiently.

They have Saturday hours so it was very convenient to get the work done. Their selection of fabric is extensive. I found exactly what I wanted. They offered to work with the pattern so that the colors that I wanted were most visable. There was a delay because the correct fabric was not delivered. They called to let me know. When I returned to pick up the chair, I was running a little late. Route 20 through Waltham center is very challenging any time but it is worse on Saturday. They offered to stay until I arrived. I am very satisfied. I would use them again any time.

Richard and Matthew were terrific. They were polite, personal, and professional, and were able to accommodate our special needs. I chose them because of their Angie's List rating and because they offered cellular shades that were certified by Greenguard for indoor air quality. Richard brought sample books to our house and was extremely patient while I matched colors throughout the house. Matthew and Richard attended the installation and insured that everything went smoothly. They chatted with my one-year-old and she thoroughly enjoyed watching the proceedings. We have been extremely happy with our purchase. The blinds are very attractive, and our house was much warmer this winter. I am certain that they will perform equally as well to keep out the heat this summer. I am very sensitive to odors and off-gassing and I have had absolutely no problem with these blinds. Our investment was not inexpensive, but the cost was, without a doubt, worth every penny, and I would highly recommend this product and this company to others. A great experience overall. Excellent, price was competitive and they did not up-charge. Workmanship was excellent, loveseat was expertly done. Superb matching of large patterns, pillows well finished. Strong commitment and pride in getting the job done right. A great find. Work done in their own workshop on site.

I filled out contact infromation andgt a fine call and wentt to visil location to see what the offered, No one was there so I called when i got home. No response. I called again the next day. No response. I gave up. If a buiness is is even intested enough to respond it does not deserve further business, but I do not understand why. Why they bother to advertize in Angies' list, or anywhere else? Is is it becasue the jub is too small. This was $2,000-3,000. Is is because they are too busy? I doubt, it based on current economy and my vist. Do they not care egough to crupeu contact? I bad sign. at best.

since constuction began on our home 6 months ago we have almost completed all the final touches.working with bloom and company was a fantastic experience.the owners son(mathew) spent a lot of time with us & sold us everything we wanted and he also installed everything himself.working with mathew was very enjoyable.his knowledge in this buisness is unmatched and his personality is perfect for dealing with his customers. anyone looking for blinds ,window treatments etc that does not contact this company is missing out.we have a couple more things to do and bloom will get all the work.if the price seems high, it's due to us picking out very expensive fabric. rich d framingham, ma

Service was excellent! Matthew was very helpful and they made sure the shades were installed correctly - even in the kitchen where the previous owner had done a poor job of framing out the window. They made sure that the shade was hung correctly - wouldn't fall or come loose. And they did it fast - 27 windows in under 2 hours.

I would give them an A+ if I could. They are a family-own business, and I worked with the son Matthew. He was prompt and on-time. He was very personable and he came back to the house when I had a special request. Really good personal service.

In the end, it was great, but it took almost 3 months to get the cushions. Matthew went on his honeymoon soon after taking the order, and had predicted I would have the cushions in 2 weeks (3 tops). I was busy and did not follow up until 6 weeks later (using his direct email and phone lines). He was away until about 2 months after I placed the order. When he returned and discovered the order had not been filled, he had the fabric, but needed to come back to do measurements again. He offered me a full explanation, an apology, and a significant discount on the order. Mistakes happen, and I will definitely call Matthew for my next upholstery project. NOTE: the price grade is based on the discounted price we got... if I had paid full price (if order was completed in timely manner with no discount), I would have assigned a "B", but overall grade would still be "a", and I would still be using them again.

Called Bloom and Company and got a response right away. The rep met us at our house at the designated time (he was even early). Was unbelievably courteous, polite, helpful and friendly. Did all of the measurements. Was able to negotiate prices a bit. Was very clear at the ordering process and gave us an accurate delivery estimate. Offered temp. blinds in the meantime for a nominal fee. Responded to calls very rapidly. Delivered on time, exactly when promised, did the installation very quickly. What a great company. Thanks so much! We will definitely use them again.

It took longer than I expected -- about a week or two more than they had estimated. We corresponded by email and I chose a fabric; they told me how much the work would cost. It was quite expensive, but they gave me a break on the fabric, giving me what I think was their own discount on it. They ordered the fabric and eventually picked up the sectional. The people who came to do it were very pleasant to deal with. They did the work beautifully (the sectional looks like new), and, while the sectional was with them, recommended that I get the white fabric treated to be very stain-resistant. When I agreed to that, they made arrangements for another company to go to their workshop and do the job. They delivered the sectional back to me and again were quite pleasant. I asked them to take some measurements for window treatments and they did so. I intend to go to see them when I am in Boston and see what sorts of products they have for my large windows. They subsequently sent me the extra seat cover, but it had been made out of the wrong fabric. I told them, and they quickly made me another one.

It went very well. Matthew was extremely responsive a real professional -- in terms of service and expertise. Provided a sample shutter that sat in my window for months while I considered various options.

We bought a semi-antique Cleopatra couch that needed reupholstering and some repairs to the wood. We spoke with a few different companies, and went with Bloom based on the low price they quoted, plus Matt's friendliness, professionalism, and obvious knowledge of the work to be done. We supplied the fabric and trim for the job. Matt had estimated that they would finish the job in 4 - 8 weeks, but after nine weeks we hadn't heard anything, and contacted them. It turned out that there had been issues (the board to which the buttons were attached had to be replaced, a key member of the work crew was out for a week). Matt apologized for the delay, and Richard was kind enough to have the new fabric treated with a stain-resistant finish at no cost to us. The finished result was completely up to our high expectations. They clearly do high-quality work and care about the customer; we'll be happy to take other work to them, and to recommend them to friends.

I found them on Angies list. I contacted them. They were prompt and they came when they said they would. They took the measurement. The price was fine. I would recommend them. They were able to achieve what I envisioned for the room. I knew the color of the shades that I wanted but I was looking for a particular manufacturer for the fabric. They came to my house with the sample and made the process simple for me. I knew the style and the color of shades I wanted. They had samples from that color range.

From my first call to Bloom and Company through visits to the showroom through the last installation, I had an excellent experience. Matthew Bloom was very personable, professional and knowledgable. He took all the time I needed for me to get the information that would make me feel comfortable in my purchase. Calls/emails were returned in a timely manner and if Matthew wasn't available, I found Richard to be very helpful also.

Matt is very knowledgeable and was able to give us a good breakdown of the construction of the original cushions (Foam & Down) which had failed after about 18 months. He recommended synthetic alternative to the down and a better foam which provided equal comfort and what should be better wear.

Matt came out to give an estimate and was both prompt and informative about the process, timing and pricing. He was also wonderful about helping us find fabrics that fit our lifestyle (with cats and small children). The work was done in a timely fashion and the pieces are just beautiful!

This was a perfect experience. The price was right for the time frame asked for. We dropped off one of the two chair cushions on Friday, asking to pick it up the next Friday. On Tuesdau we got a call that they were finished. When I picked them up I was delighted. The fabric was a stripe and the match was great, the quality and fit was APlus. Mr. Bloom said that if I trouble getting the cover on the other cushion, just to come back.

They did a beautiful job. They were very responsive at first. The guy came to my house and looked at the chairs. He gave me a written estimate which was nice because not everyone who does such a small job would do that. He also suggested that I look for fabric because I wanted to pick out fabric myself; he gave me a couple places to look. They sell fabric, but he didn't make me buy it directly from him. They offered to pick up the furniture free of charge, but my husband works close by so he dropped them off and picked them up. Right after this work was done, I called and wanted them to come back out and no one ever called me back. I even called a couple of times. I had much more work that I could have given them. I thought their prices were reasonable, they were nice, and they did a beautiful job. My only complaint is that they didn't call me back.
