Answered messages promptly. Price was a little higher and there was some delay before they could get job done. Work was done quickly once started, and site well cleaned up. Quality of work was excellent.

Our condo association got a letter from our insurance company requiring us to build a fence around our backyard or risk cancellation of the policy. I tried to contact the insurance company a number of times to arrange for an agent to meet me at the property to discuss the details of the fence, but my calls were never returned. Eventually we got a cancellation notice informing us that our policy was not going to be renewed as of 12/14/08. I thought I had arranged coverage with a new ins. co., but they contacted me 2 days before our old policy expired and told me they contacted our old ins. co. and were told that our policy wasn't going to be renewed for "failure to make necessary repairs to our building." After that, the new ins. co. didn't want to hear my side of the story. I immediately contacted a number of other ins. cos. and I was told we couldn't get coverage until we put a fence up. Realizing I needed to put a fence up FAST, I started calling fence cos., but the soonest anyone could come out was 2 weeks! I called John at The Fence Man and he came out THAT DAY (Friday) to give me an estimate, was there first thing Monday morning to install the fence, and did a beautiful job! Thanks to John, I was able to convince an insurance co. that the fence was going to be installed and they agreed to cover me from the time our old policy ran out. John really saved my skin because it wasn't until I started calling around to new ins. cos. that I realized that if our building was uninsured and something happened, as the trustee of the condo assoc., the other unit owners could hold me personally responsible! Great service, on the high end of price and not particularly fast. But nice people and a great fence.

The guys did a good job installing the fence. I got a verbal estimate on the second part of the job. I wanted them to come back and put up another 12 feet of fence and a gate but the company never followed up with me.
