Description of Work: Had long ago lost remote for an old (at least 25 years old) garage door opener and outside button to open door was broken. Called S & H based on Angies list reports. Got a call back within three hours. S & S (seemed to be a father & son operation) showed up next morning. Looked things over and replaced old remotes and door button a few hours later. They did a great job. They were friendly and helpful. Absolutely NO complaints. For $140 we got two new remotes to replace our long lost one, the external button and VERY prompt service. A great job from very good people.

Description of Work: i emailed s+S and they called me back the next day - they ended up spending 15 minutes on the phone with me and explained a couple of very simple solutions that could be used to fix my garage door - gary was incredibly nice to tell me these quick fixes and he said if this does not work, then call and he will come - he was very kind and generous to tell me how to fix this on my own.

Description of Work: GARAGE DOOR: the cable snapped on my automatic garage door. Gary came to house on the day of my call, at first could not get into garage, returned a second time, both times on his own initiative, fixed the cable so that the door closes more smoothly than before the repair, and left his bill. I could not have been more pleased.

Description of Work: Both our garage doors were not closing properly. I left a message and the owner called back the same evening. He came out in two days, did the job promptly and well, at a very reasonable cost.

Description of Work: He came to my house, took a look at my garage door, and gave me his advice. He told me I needed to get a new door, explained why, he told me who to call, and he was wonderful. He did not charge me for his time.

Description of Work: Remove old door and install new one.

Description of Work: Came and quickly and inexpensively repaired the door. Very pleased.

Description of Work: Gary came and repaired stuck door and oiled and adjusted the mechanism even before I arrived home to tell him what the problem was. He was on time, competent, and courteous. Definitely would use him again.
