Description of Work: I had replacement windows installed. Everyone from Power Home Remodeling were very professional and provided quality service and product. I will absolutely be using them again.

Description of Work: Crew arrived on time and began work immediately. The new windows look great and really brightened up the rooms. Easy open and close and tilt in for cleaning really makes them easy to care for.

Description of Work: As previous reviewer said too long a sales pitch, was here from noon until after 5:00. The work he quoted was way out of what we can afford. Yes a 50 year roof would be nice, but, we won't be alive in 50 years, and probably the house won't be either. I don't need a Mercedes price when Honda will do. The man was very nice, but consistently pushing for a commitment that we are not ready to make yet. I don't like people who come to your home and overstay their welcome trying to close a sale that isn't going to happen.

Description of Work: They did an awesome job they were on time got things ready for job and was done in a day and clean up nicely.

Description of Work: New roof on older home. The quality of the roof work was good, the price was high but we felt that we did not want any roof issues in the future as we are both over 65. The crew tossed out at least three square of shingles for which we paid, at least a case of nails went in the dumpster with the shingles. Nails were left around the yard and in the awning, we had tires on our lawn equipment that were flattened by the nails. Rubbish was let in the yard and on our street. The party responsible for picking up the dumpster damaged one or our driveways. One estimator stated that the roof actually had a size equal to one square less than the size for which we were charged. We had a large plank that disappeared while the workers were there. After months of conversations and being told that the $850.00 in compensation for the damage and the overcharge on the measurement was being sent the $850.00 in gift cards finally arrived. This amount actually only compensated us for the overcharge on the sizing of the roof.

Description of Work: They wrapped the eaves and soffets. It looks great! They are pricey though. They also called to reschedule me due to 2 days of rain but they pushed me out 2 weeks.

Description of Work: Power Home had earlier replace windows for me, which I am very pleased with. This time (Sept.) they replaced gutter & downspouts. Their work and products are excellent & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Description of Work: They replaced 17 windows in my home. The installation was flawless and they were done in a day. The crew was very clean. Our problem was with the sales pitch. The sales rep was at our house for over 4 hous, made us miss rating our dinner, and was insensitive and boarder line rude about by bit leaving when we asked him to so we could feed our 1 year old and our her to bed. We felt coerced into the sale.

Description of Work: This company was very professional. They followed the progress of the work being done and confirmed with me every step of the process making sure that I was fully aware of what was being done and when it was to be done. The followed up to confirm my satisfaction with everything to do with the project. They installed a new roof, all new windows on the main part of the house including the cellar windows and new steel doors. They obtained all needed permits and cleaned up after themselves both inside and outside of the home. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

Description of Work: I set up an appointment during a home show. I was very clear in stating that i was not looking to replace my windows, yet they setup a "measure and quote" appointment. When they turned up it was a "little-too-detailed" sales presentation. They did give me an estimate at the end of 5 hrs (close to 11.00 p.m. at night, yes p.m.) and revised the estimate if i was willing to agree to doing the work right away. | |What bothered me the most is that at the end of 5 hrs and several work sheets later, they only gave me a quote number written on a business card and did not itemize it the way i wanted. They were also so insistent on having my wife around that she had to stop nursing my 5 month old kid during the 5-hr presentation they had. That certainly ticked me off the most. | |They probably had a great product and were probably a great company but i was dis-appointed that it took as long as it did and not get the result i was looking for, not to mention the inconvenience with the 5-month old kid. | |Also, not having looked at other windows i dont know if their product, while good, was unique. I am sure all these companies have a similar product and a similar sales pitch.

Description of Work: Installed 4 Energy Star windows. Real pros on installation and procedures. Just not convinced the quality of the windows is as good as advertised and may have paid more than necessary.

Description of Work: This company knocked on my door because they were "in the area" performing work, and asked if I wanted to receive an estimate for window replacement. I made an appointment for the estimator to return to my house the same day to provide an estimate. Even though I told the person who came to my door that I had an appointment later that day, he promised that the estimator would come at 3:30 p.m., and called the office to confirm this time. I then received a call saying that the estimator was running behind schedule, and that he would show up at 4:00 or 4:30. Finally, at 4:30, I received a call saying that the estimator couldn't come at all. This was an entire afternoon wasted for me as I sat around waiting for the estimator. They came to my door to solicit my interest -- it's not like I sought them out. I would have expected them to have the decency to show up at the promised time.

Description of Work: On two seperate occasions, a man would show up at my home, in the evening, as I am trying to cook dinner, or spend time with my family, and want to talk to me, saying they are doing work "down the street" and wanted to talk to us about having work done. First of all, dinner time is the worst time for someone to come unexpectedly. Second, if I needed something done around the house, I will seek out someone to do so. Why would I take the word of someone walking around, saying they work down the street. This is a terrible way to market your company.
