Power Home Remodeling did a great job replacing my entire roof. They were professional, efficient, polite, and respectful of my property. The crew did an excellent job keeping my property safe, worked quickly and the roof looks beautiful.

5 stars for the window replacement. Everything about it, and all of the various people involved (sales, measurements, installation, inspection) were fantastic. The installation team did leave some debris on-site, but the inspector took it away in his truck before he left. 4 stars for the siding work (subcontracted). They did a good job on a 90+ degree day. They did use some of our bricks that were being used as an animal barrier for our garden to level their ladder and didn't put them back. We also had language barriers that made the signing off process a littler longer. Some random metal pieces from the job were left in our driveway and boarders, but were easy to find before they did any potential damage to car tires. 1 star for the insulation work (subcontracted). The guy was supposed to come between 7-9 am, but due to a "communication issue" on their side, he didn't come until 12:30 pm. My wife took off work to be home to let him in, and had they told us he would be there in the afternoon, I could've been home and no time off needed. Punctual is supposedly one of their bill of rights. We wanted a radiant barrier put on our roof. He did maybe 70% and stopped, calling the job done. He also left a bunch of the fasteners on the floor of our attic and didn't take the time to cut off any excess material. My wife signed off on the paperwork without looking at the job (partially her fault), but the installer had her sign it on the first floor and made it seem like he was in a hurry to get back to PA where he's from. I called and complained about the job and sent photos and video. It was the end of the day, and I missed the call back, but there was no communication after. Without letting us know, it turns out, they are coming tomorrow between 10-noon. I only found this out because I called to complain about the gutter installation that was late and asked about a follow-up to the attic install. ZERO communication that someone was going to be coming, so now I have to take off of work again in hopes that they actually show up. It's not listed on the app that they tout as the greatest thing ever. 1 star so far for the gutter installation (subcontracted). The gutter installation was supposed to be done on Tuesday (two days ago, and a day after the siding since it goes on top of a portion of that), but then the app mysteriously updated itself to say Thursday (today) between 8-10 am. This isn't a huge deal since it's outside and no one needs to be home, but again, no actual communication from Power. At 11:30, we noticed that no one had shown up, so I called. It turns out, the install team couldn't source the black gutter materials, and so they'll have to do it tomorrow. ZERO communication from Power until I called them. The app even shows that they're still coming today between 8-10 even after I called and complained. It's supposed to rain today/tomorrow, and the manager assured me that it wouldn't do any damage to the siding that we just had them install. They have 10 bill of rights. They can go ahead and take off customer first, allocation, and punctual based on their descriptions. If you need windows done, I highly recommend them. When they try to sell you on other stuff, find someone else.

I had an appointment on 6/3/24 at 10am with power home remodeling. Two of their salesmen came to my house thery were in there mid 30s. We went to the back yard to meet not in the house for 2 hours. There prices are way to expensive. I told them I will have someone else do the work. The problem that I encountered is when they asked to use my bathroom two separate times, one of them not sure which one, p***** all over the toilet, toilet seat, and floor, then shut the toilet lid . My wife came home she was not there for this app. and noticed this disgusting mess in the bathroom. This was done in spite not by any mistake. They knew they were not getting the sale, is this there way of getting back for not making the sale? Does anybody want to do business with this company when there sales people that act like this?

Very high pressure sales. They were more interested in getting it done quickly than the quality of the installation. The aluminum trim around the windows looks good but they did not replace all of the old wood underneath I requested. They would put it over anything. They did not bother to brush off the sills before covering them or remove saw dust. Many of them were cut too small because they assumed all trim was the same size. They had to redo most of them and they didn’t do the bottom corner’s correctly even though I explained to them how they should be done. When they didn’t want to do something they acted like they didn’t understand me.

I would not recommend power home remodeling to anyone. They did vinyl siding on my home. During the sales pitch, the salesperson sold us on a product that would not grow green plant growth and would not turn chalky over time. less than 3 years in and I already have green growth on the north side of my home. I messaged them to see if they could help me and I was told "Unfortunately, the issue you've described does not fall within the scope of coverage provided by your siding's warranty." This is something that was sold to me, by them, and they don't cover it! Not to mention, a few weeks after the job was done we were essentially strong-armed into leaving a positive review. A Power Home Remodeling rep came to my home, sat my wife and I down, and handed us a tablet to write a review. It felt weird at the time, and now I know why. They are snakes who just want your money. They will sell you on how many of your neighbors are using their products and say anything to get your name on the dotted line. I wish I could leave zero stars.

Timely, professional, and overall very attentive to any issues that arise would definitely recommend and using for another project already

It very a tough ride. 5 hours for an initial visit. Way too long. Mistakes were made that had to be adjusted. We made it clear, with multiple mentions, that we wanted the trim color to be lighter than the house. 2nd visit proved that more mistakes were made and we had to adjust the type of windows we were to get on the spot, which meant a new contract. The day of the install, a QA person was at the house for over 2 hours, just chatting, and left long before the job was done. We mentioned the trim color again, noting that what they had was not lighter than the house. How can you QA a job when it hasn't completed? The installers put 2 small gouges in the clapboards and left black marks all over the house. When I stated the same, they said , "We assume you have paint to touch that up." Why would we have to pull out a ladder to f ix and paint the errors they made? I called to have someone come out and fix the damage to the clapboards. The person on the call told me someone would come fix the clpaboards and replace the trim for no charge since it was not what we wanted. Then, a final call proved that Power doesn't follow through on their word and they refused to replace the trim at no charge. And, to top it off, we have to pay for the job before it has even started. Miserable experience all around.

The demo and installation of the new siding were completed with much care and precision! The windows were flawlessly installed in 5 hours! Quick and painless. So very happy we went with Power Home Remodwing! Will definitely call them in the future for what we didn't do this go around !!

We have nice windows and sliding door but the trim on a few windows and the sliding door on the outside is pulling away from the unit. It is May 2023 and no one can get here until Sept 23, 2023 to repair it under the warranty. Meanwhile, bees and water are getting in under the trim and we will have to pay someone to come and fix this. Not happy!

Power Remodeling came to our house a week after we moved in while we were in the middle of doing a lot of work on it. They walked up to us while we were working in the driveway and asked to set up a quote for a roof. We just moved so we were not in the place of being ready for a new roof right away but knew we would need one at some point soon. We said sure they can give us a quote if they want, but then they insist both my husband and I HAVE to be home together, and they HAVE to come inside and sit down with us. Our house was a construction site without any tables/chairs to sit on at the time and we said this, they still insisted and kept saying we HAVE to come in and sit down and you BOTH have to be there. We were getting frustrated at this point and said honestly we don’t need a quote at this point and didn’t seek it out so never mind. They showed up a couple weeks later for a sit down quote they said would take a few minutes and it took 3 HOURS! Very high pressure and outrageously high $. One quote if we signed that day was for 39k and payment was $508 a month. If we don’t sign that day it goes to $44k and $1180/month. It was close to 8 pm at this point, I was exhausted, hungry, and we had our entire afternoon taken hostage by a quote we didn’t ask for that the salesman said would only take a few minutes of our time. I said ok, we’ll we need to talk about it, you said the 39k price is if we lock in the day of the quote, so since it’s 8 pm, can we have the 24 hours or at least 12 hours (next morning) to think about it. Firm NO. Ok, I said we will be interested in moving forward If it was the 508/month but NOT 1180/month. Id be willing to sign the contract now for the 39k to lock in the 508/month so we don’t lose it. He said no, he wouldn’t let us sign a contract for that INCASE we cancel! First of all, MA state law has a 3 day right of recision law..but this salesperson could have signed us for 39k and said NO! Honestly this company is NOT worth the headache. I’d rather find a smaller company who doesn’t do high pressure sales and actually uses their own contracters not subbing all the work out and making claims they clearly don’t stand behind based on a lot of the reviews on here.

Our project was installed a year ago. When we were looking at different companies to go with we chose Power because we were told through out the project set up (even the installers) that the warranty covered accidental damage as well as product installation issues and product quality issues. Fast forwarding a year later, we had an issue where a telephone wire that was reattached by the installers was ripped out because it was hanging too low. When I called to have the piece replaced, they told me it wasn’t covered under warranty. Please be aware that if you are leaning toward choosing this company because of their warranty promises, the warranty doesn’t cover everything they tell you it does in person. Their sales department will promise you things that are not covered to get the sale. Trust only what you read in their agreement. If the sales person that approaches you tells you something, ask for proof on paper before you sign.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM! Very unprofessional, not responsive. I live in a HOA and the project manager said they would replace the windows with proper board permission. They lied to the board saying that "they will not change the external appearance" of the house and installed all the windows with half screens instead of regular full screens all the other houses have. Now the board is charging me penalty for the mistakes of Power Homes and tried calling Power Homes multiple times with no response and no action.

I had Power roof my home. They promised why weatherproofing my skylight that they would use a flashing kit, self-sealing membrane, and replace any damaged sheathing. First big winter storm, huge leak. Called Power, they would repair the damage, but would charge me. They did not use a flashing kit, they did not use self-sealing membrane, and they left rotten sheathing on my roof. Horrible company, DO NOT USE Power unless you want an additional $12,000 in damages to your home.

The experience was very stressful. The siding crew was very rough on our 1774 home. They damaged portions of the trim, a window, and the metal roof. I had to constantly monitor the crew to make sure they minimized damage and completed the work correctly. It was difficult communicating with the Spanish-speaking crew. Materials are in my yard that still have not been picked up 2 weeks later. The finished siding looks good, but that is the best complement I can make. I had doors replaced by Power on a previous job and was very satisfied. I would be cautious recommending Power for siding replacement on a similar old house.

Purchased Windows and roof from them. Decided on windows first, they were in and out and did a good job. There was a pre project inspection, post project inspection, I noticed a piece of flashing was dented and they ensured someone would return to replace. Figured out the only reason there was a post project inspection was to try and sell me on the items I hadn't purchased. And they succeeded selling me the roof, big discount to use my house for marketing. Power assured me that I would never know they were there once they completed. Its been a month since the roof was completed, no communications, no post install inspection, my flashing is still dented and we have found tons of garbage and over 200 nails around the house. Beyond disappointed with this company. Id steer clear.

If you are considering a large project, look elsewhere. Chances are that you will be disappointed with Power Home Remodeling. I quoted five different companies to replace 37 windows from an old house in Massachusetts (Marvin, Andersen, Window nation, PHR, Harvey). Power was definitely not the cheapest, but their lead times were considerably better (on paper) than competitors. Also, they are praised for having the best customer service, which has been inexistent so far. 1) Initially, they scheduled the replacement for August 2nd, which was seven weeks after committing to the project. To prepare for the arrival, I took out the curtains, moved furniture with the help of a handyman, and did what they requested. I called to check how big the truck was, only to realize that they had decided to reschedule the installation date ON THE same day they were supposed to arrive. And they forgot to let me know and update the APP (which had the initial date). They rescheduled for a couple of days later, and I didn’t even get a proper apology. 2) When the crew arrived, they did not receive three windows; two came with broken hinges, screens, and some other missing materials. The contractor, not Power Home employees, performed the window replacement. So they blamed the company, and when I spoke with the company, they blamed the manufacturer (Pella). The crew took out one of the windows only to realized that the replacement was not in the truck, and they put it back again with caulk. Which has been a safety hazard for the past 2 months since a strong wind or a kid can easily push it and break it. And the customer who has the lowest negotiation power has to keep waiting forever. 3) Today, September 15th, almost three months after the original agreement date, I received a call that they would have to reschedule AGAIN the missing three windows since the windows have not arrived from Pella. WHAT A TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! What a terrible experience! I have no trust in this company and only regret the minute I decided to sign with them. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Go directly to PELLA or go with Andersen or Marvin and negotiate. Do not rely upon a company that doesn’t keep promises, doesn’t influence manufacturing, and doesn’t employ their own people to do a good job. I haven’t received a single call to go over all my problems, so I can only assume that their customer service/success was nothing more than a marketing play. I’m requesting the money back, an urgent replacement of the missing window and an apology.

Outstanding & Beyond Excellence!!! From the very first consultation to the final installation day. The consultant for initial information meeting was an impressive young man. He was well prepared & very attentive to my specific needs, desires, & wishes. Offering a variety of payment plans & options. Power Home Remodeling had me from that very first meeting. A second consultant meeting was arranged for more specific details about the process & installation timeframe based on my specific needs. All in all over a period of months I met with three consultants plus a project manager for specific measurement details. Each & everyone of the Power crew was an exceptional individual, skilled in their own way& unique personality. Their main goal was meeting my specific needs on a timely manner of my schedule choosing while delivering a final product I would be completely satisfied with. That goal was not only achieved but done with excellence. The day of installation. An outstanding well mannered & polite crew arrived right on time bright and early. They worked diligently & well organized while answering any questions I had along the way & kept me informed as they progressed. At the end of a long nine hour day. The crew chief did a walk around with me going over the fine details of the installation. It was the perfect ending to several months of planning. I could not be happier with my new windows & sliders or the end result of the detailed installation. Not to mention the many fine individuals I met from Power Home Remodeling along the way in the process.

Great, I love the windows not the screens. I wish the screens were strong. They are too thin and rips easily. I have about 35 windows, including 13 sunroom windows, and 9 smaller basement/ garage windows combined.

Do not purchase windows from this organization. They sold me defective windows and I have been waiting over 14 months to have them replaced. Awful service and responsiveness. Terrible organization.

Power was doing work in the area and approached me about gutter and siding replacement. I contracted with them to replace the trim and gutters. The first day 3 people came to remove the old gutters and replace the trim. They worked from 8am to 6pm. The second day the gutter installers came. Both teams worked effeciently and I am happy with the results. People came when they said they would, sent a reminder that the work crews were coming and sent a quality assurance person to check the work performed.

Power Home Remodeling called and pitched their windows. As I am in the market to replace my windows I agreed to scheduling an appointment to get an estimate. Today 7/27 they were scheduled to arrive at 10 AM. Around 7:30 AM I received a call to confirm the appointment and my address. The gentleman then began to talk about financing. As I do not need financing and was headed out to a medical appointment, I asked if we could discuss any additional items when I saw them at 10AM. Well 10AM came and went and Power Home Remodeling was a "no show". At 10:45 AM I called they and was told since I did not answer all their questions they cancelled the visit. I then asked to speak to a manager and he gave the same explanation. So I asked what more did they need to know . . . outside my name, address and appointment time . . . to have kept the appointment. The manager said they would need to know if there was anyone else in the household who would need to be involved in the transaction. Since they were no able to ask the question the appointment was cancelled on their end. Keep in mind it was just for a "no obligation" visit to provide an estimate! I'd run don't walk away from this unprofessional company!

We heard about Power Home Remodeling from a company representative, Cedric, who was in the neighborhood for a project on a neighbor's home. He helped us set up an appointment for later in the evening on the same day. In the evening, Tyler returned to quote out the siding, trim, and gutters. The whole process took about 4 hours, but it was very informative and left us with a thorough understanding of Power Home Remodeling as a company as well as the services they provide and materials they use. A few reasons we decided to go with Power Home Remodeling were that many of our neighbors have used them for multiple home projects, there was no deposit required before starting the work, and all the services and materials are covered by a lifetime, transferable (single transfer) warranty. The warranty itself provided us comfort because we knew we would be covered for the full time we are in our current home and we would be able to give the next owners some peace of mind. The time between the quote and when actual work was completed was only a couple of weeks. The work was done over the course of two consecutive days (Friday and Saturday) and the cleanup was great. There were two issues with how some of the downspouts were finished (second level not fully attached to the first level, lower level spout in line with fence). However, part of the service is for a Power Home Remodeling inspector to come to the home and inspect the work as well as address any issues. This meeting occurred within a week of the actual work and all of our concerns were addressed and are scheduled to be fixed. All the employees that we interacted with were polite, professional, and explained everything very thoroughly. As mentioned, we will be using Power Home Remodeling for our future siding project and recommend using them for your future housing needs!

The installers were very professional. Clean up was great. Quality assurance manager came out can checkout everything and fixed some minor issues. We will be using again. In fact we are having a door installed in August.

One of the worst experiences of my life.After three week installing my windows It started to fall apart I have pictures I called customer service to see if they can fix it and they had The nerve to charge me half to come down there and fix it. After only 3 weeks

Our first issue was that the roof appears to have different colored shingles on it. This is unacceptable for a brand new, full roof installation. Secondly, the dumpster used for cleanup was left in the incorrect spot and blocked our only car in the garage, so we could not leave for our vacation (thankfully we did not have an emergency, as we could not have gotten out for that either). Thirdly, our gas fire pit was tipped on its side so the rocks came out and damaged our fire pit. We found nails around our yard, which is unavoidable, but we also found them in the couches that were on our deck - I expect these areas to be checked. Finally, we've been trying to coordinate remediation directly with Power Home but they have taken no actions to remediate any of this in the past week.
