We are very pleased with the quality of the windows and their installation. The 3 man crew arrived within 30 minutes of the estimated time and were very considerate of our home. Despite being a very hot day in the 90's, the work was done in just a few hours and of good quality and attention to detail. They cleaned-up so well that I had no cleaning at all to do when they left. We've been very happy with the windows in the month since then.

From the salesman to the foreman and individual carpenters on the job, everyone was respectful, responsive to our concerns and needs and polite. Though the company is a national one, the local office assigned a foreman to the job as well as another local supervisory contact (project manager) available all day of the job for any concerns. We were called 48 hours in advance of the job to confirm the date and time. They arrived a little late on the day of due to horrible traffic, but had a tremendous work ethic and continued into the evening in order to complete the job in one day as promised. The following day with daylight we were able to see a few shingles over a window that weren't perfectly aligned and called the project foreman. He was very responsive and arranged for several carpenters to come out and fix those shingles immediately. We also received calls from the project manager and the national office checking to be sure we were satisfied. I should mention clean up was very good and they used a magnet sweeper to pick up stray nails. Of course we found a few nails in the mulch of our garden, but very few. Consistently throughout the day, one tradesman picked up excess roof tiles and nails that fell outside the dumpster. At the end of the job, everyone participated in clean up and we were satisfied overall especially as it was dark by the time they completed their work. The window project was done separately with a similar arrangement of a local foreman on site and then a local project manager available by phone at any time. The guys arrived on schedule and completed the window replacement in less than 1 hour. Of note, the window they were replacing was in a room currently stripped to the studs, so access to the window was very easy. The guys had left over green caulk and voluntarily went around caulking the exterior of our other windows that needed it so they wouldn't waste any material. The company also offered to replace 2 pieces of green metal trim on 2 other windows at no extra charge. Shortly after the window was complete, a gentleman from the company came to our home to be sure we were happy with the work. At that time we were so happy with the service and initial replacement window that we decided to replace all the windows on our first floor with Power Home Remodeling.

They are probably the worst executed hard sell experience I have ever had. (Harassed all day) Sales people continually called throughout the day, even when told that I was stuck in meetings. (Late/No Show) When they finally talked to me at the end of the day, they told me that the salesperson was running late, and pushed the appointment back to 7:15. Then they called again to say that the salesperson would be as late as 8pm due to traffic. I agreed to this, but they then stated that it would be better to reschedule. (Will not show up to do estimate unless they can make a sale right then) When I pointed out I was willing to wait for them, and that I was only infrequently available because my wife had to take our children, one who had recently had surgery and the other who is autistic out of town to the grandparents so that one of us could meet with them, they stated that they couldn't make an appointment for an estimate without my wife present.

The installers were on time and did a good job. They laid drop cloths down to cover all flooring and furniture. They were very professional and courteous. After they were done they reviewed with me on how to work the windows.. One thing I found is that the bottom window does not open all the way. There is about an inch or two to the top. This has to do with how the windows are made. If I had realized this I probably would not have bought this type of window. I even had them remove the stop at the top of the window. I received a call asking if a quality inspector can stop by to look at the work. He was to be here at 3 and it is know 4 with no show and no call. The inspector arrived and was very apologetic for being late. He contacted the main office to say he was running late but no one called me. I have 4 more windows and a bow window to replace. Because of the style of window I may not have them do the remaining windows. Time will tell this winter if they work as well as expected.

Extremely thorough initial sales meeting, included detailed review of all materials and procedures, as well as comparative pricing info. We had no questions or concerns following this meeting, except for the final choice of color. However, when the job supervisor arrived for the second planning meeting, at which we chose the shingle color, we were disappointed that he only brought the same picture book rather than actual samples of the shingle colors we were considering. This is our only complaint; it made it difficult to make the decision and given the expense, we thought it a consequential decision. The entire job was completed in one day: almost 6000 square feet of roof! 15 people on site to get the job done! High quality workmanship (they even painted the vents and pipes to match the shingles) and very thorough cleanup and only a little impact on shrubbery and gardens. (Plan on getting up early: the dumpster arrived at 7 a.m.)

They arrived on time, removed all the shingles, completely re-made my roof, installed gutters and under-caping in less then 6 hours.
