Excellent! Paul truly went above and beyond for us. Originally we hired them to abate a small section of pipe in our basement.. After their estimate, we discovered another section of pipe in bad condition due to animals nesting in our garage. We asked Paul ot assess while he was taking care of the basement pipe. He started to abate the new pipe at no additional cost to us. Unfortunately, the new pipe was in such bad shape due to animals that he has to come back for another abatement visit with different equipment. We got more than our money's worth. We will have them back in a few months to deal with the remaining asbestos.

We couldn't have asked for more. We had a very large old boiler and significant amount of asbestos. Everything from timeliness to cleanup was outstanding.

I was very happy with their work and it was fair price. Considering how extreme the job was, they certainly made the process much easier on us. They were up front and honest and I was very impressed with everything about them.

It went very well. They showed up on time and left the place very clean. They were one of three contractors that I had come out to give me an estimate. Asbestos abatement is all they do. They are very experienced.

Bill was very professional. Too bad the cost was so high.

Met with Paul (I think) in Sept 08 and got an estimate on removing some asbestos. Found several spots in the basement and told me exactly what he had to do. Very polite and professional. Came back with his crew on the scheduled work day a few weeks later and was in and out in about 45 minutes. They even vacuumed up a bunch of existing dirt and debris on the floor that I was planning on sweeping up after I finished all the maintenance I was planning on doing in the basement. Great guys!

What I didn't like was that they piled up everything in the cellar and I had to call somebody else to remove it. They made the job harder by piling the junk and the good stuff, things like garden tools and electrical cords together. They didn't have to do that, but they did. I would not hire them again.

They were very busy and unfortunately we could not schedule the work. They worked to make it work but it just didn't work out. They were polite and knowledgeable. I would recommend them. They showed up for the estimate when they said they would.

Awesome - they were very responsive, and worked around my schedule. Their work was great - they removed everything and were even pretty careful with the old radiator covers, which I was planning to give away.

S&S was recommended by National Grid who installed a new, efficient gas furnace to replace my failing gas gravity air furnace of unknown age. When the National Grid found asbestos in the old furnace, they said asbestos abatement would be required for them to take away the old furnace & ducts. After getting quotes from 2 abatement companies, I decided to go with S&S. S&S scheduled a day to do the abatement but I was out of town all that day so didn't witness the work in progress. However, they went above and beyond by removing the old furnace and old ductwork since it was in their way anyways. They left the work area nice and clean.

They came when they said they would.

The estimator came promptly. He had some good suggestions for asbestos removal and disposal and gave me a very reasonable price for disposal. They came as scheduled for pickup and took care of the asbestos waste.

Very good experience. Paul was very helpful on the phone (twice) before I had even hired him, answering all my questions. Once I decided to remove the tile, his brother Bill came right out and gave an estimate which ended up being the exact price. They scheduled the work as soon as possible under state guidelines. The crew arrived early at about 6:50am, and had the job done by around noon. They kept us informed about every step of the process. The only negative was that after the removal, we had exposed mastic for about 3 weeks before we could schedule flooring installation, and we hadn't been told that the mastic would stick to furniture we set on it. Maybe that couldn't be foreseen, and we didn't lose anything too valuable.

Paul was very prompt to come out and give us a quote. He was very easy to reach. Unfortunately his price was more than double many of the other quotes, so we are unable to make use of his services.

We cleared a few feet of access to pipe areas. S&S sealed the asbestos in wet bags removed it and wiped the pipes. They removed the asbestos in wet bags. They wiped down the pipes and cleaned up there was NO residue with this method. They were very efficient. Note: Recommended by Keyspan I had other Quote @ $850
