From the very first contact on the phone to the paying of the bill we couldn't ask for a better experience. I believe it was the wife of the owner who answers the phone and she was very nice and informative as to when Don would come come out for an estimate. He came out as promised and helped us figure out what we needed done, actually saving us some work and money. The day of the job they arrived on time and did the job expertly and I must say they even provided some mediation to a neighbor of ours that thought we were encroaching on his land. For that we were very appreciative. We couldn't be any happier with the whole experience and would highly recommend Metro paving.

I couldn't be happier with their work!! Don Ducette (the owner) was extremely pleasant to deal with. From his initial visit when he came out to estimate the cost, down to the last minute of completely the job, he was professional. An honest man who'll give you all that he promises and more. He even managed to use up the left over paving material to fill in some of the holes on my street. I highly recommend his work!!! I will refer him to all friends, neighbors and family without hesitation!

Was actually able to move us up on the schedule and got the job done a month early. Removed old asphalt drive and sidewalk, tree roots and rocks and repaved entire area including sidewalk. Work was all completed in one day. They cleaned entire area and left everything in a neat and orderly condition.

I called Metro at 9 am and by 11 am they were in my driveway measuring and then handing me a write estimate. That is faaaassssssttttt service. They were so professional and answered all my questions we will be using this company for the job.

The entire crew was very professional and hard working, including the patriarch of the family, who manned the bobcat. They got the entire job done in one, long day, and I'm very pleased with the results. They even patched up some bad parts of the street with their left over asphalt. The quote was $3300, which was the final bill, but I gave them an extra $200 to show my appreciation for their work.

Original scheduled date was end of November and they were able to move it up to mid-October due to other project delays. The crew showed up on time and finished in one day as promised. The quality was excellent and they took the time to set up the barriers and explained that we needed to keep the cars off for three days. We are very happy with the finished produce and would recommend them to anyone needing a driveway refinished.

We love our driveway. Don and his secretary were easy to reach and always called us back quickly. We had some issues with getting a permit since we live in a historical district, and they were very helpful and patient throughout the whole process. We used to have water leaking into our basement due to the grade of our driveway, and Don fixed that problem. They also had the lowest quote we got. Very happy customers.

Don showed up early to provide an estimate and talked through the options for repaving the drive. He was able to schedule the work for a few weeks later. Don and his crew showed up early in the morning on the scheduled day and worked into the evening so the job could be finished in one day. Don also easily worked with me to share the unexpectedly high cost of obtaining parking permits from the city for his equipment. The new driveway looks great and is well pitched so water flows easily toward the street. Overall a great job!

Along with needing the driveway repaved, I thought that I needed a drainage system towards the back of my 60+ foot driveway where it dips down before going back up to my garage. The owner of Metro Paving pointed out to me how my property continues to slope down to the side and behind my driveway and that he could easily regrade the driveway so that all the water would drain off. I was very impressed with his professionalism and not trying to sell me something I didn't need. When it was time to do the work they showed up right on time and were extremely organized. They performed the work step by step, just as they said they would and gave specific instructions on the care of the newly paved surface. I couldn't be happier with them or the new driveway.

Showed up on time for quote and for the job. No problems whatsoever. Came out beautiful. Even added loam around the edges to fill in the space. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Don Doucette arrived a 7AM sharp on October 23 and his small army of helpers immediately began to furiously remove the old driveway to the fascination of the neighborhood children (and myself). They added a layer of crushed stone and graded the stone so that rainwater would flow out to the street and also down to our drywell. One could see that they are not new to this business! They carefully set the height of my drywell grate and blended it in perfectly to the grade. Don and his crew also took time to fill in part of my garage entrance that was sagging by the door. Don and his crew were great to chat with and they consulted me on every detail of the driveway before they did anything. The job was completed at around 4PM after many passes with the roller. The driveway is now a seamless thing of beauty. What a difference! This was a very pleasant experience AND it was half the cost of an estimate from another paving firm!

Don Doucette and his crew (even his father) worked very hard all day long. The result was fantastic! Our formerly lumpy, bumpy, cracked and broken driveway is now smooth and even.

They came out for the estimate when they said they would and showed up on the date promised when I spoke to them. They were quick and efficient and quality of work was very good.

I called the owner and set up an appointment and he arrived on time. We discussed the best way to fix the driveway and I decided to remove the entire old asphalt and totally re-asphalt with all that that entailed. After the first meeting, he called and set up a day that the work would be done. They arrived on time on 7-24-13. There were at least 6 fellows to do the job and they were very friendly and efficient. They totally removed the asphalt from the old driveway. They laid gravel and then at least 2 layers of new asphalt. I was really impressed with the neatness of the asphalt against the stone wall on the side of my house . The rain also sluices away from the house which really impressed me!!!! I would use them again to be sure!!!!

We have had a lot of work done on our home over the last 30 years but Don's team rates at the top of the list. Our original call was promptly returned. Don came the next day and gave us an estimate. They scheduled the work to be done in a few weeks. Don and his crew showed up exactly as promised, removed all of the old asphalt on our 140 foot driveway, regraded it making sure it was level and would drain properly, applied 1 1/2 inch base top and then 1 1/2 inch finish top. Took great care in the power rolling and tamping of the edges as well as carefully finishing where the driveway met our garage, walkway and street. I have never seen such a hard working and organized team. As promised the job was completed within two days. We would highly recommend Metro Paving. My experience overall went very well. The staff was very friednly and professional. So far I am very pleased with the work provided. They were responsive to my phone call and were punctual. I would highly recommend this company to others.

I called and left a message. Shortly after, Sheila called to schedule a visit to have the driveway looked at, to explain what was to be done, and to receive an estimate. Don came out promptly at the scheduled time, explained everything and gave me a written estimate. Sheila called to schedule a time to have the job done. They came on the agreed upon date at around 7:00 am and worked until about 4:00 pm as I was told. They did a very nice job and I paid the previously agreed upon amount when the job was finished. Everything went like clockwork and everyone was very pleasant. I don't believe it could have gone better.

It was very good. They were very prompt. I set the date and they took care of the rest. They worked with the other people that are on my street, even getting around the equipment and things like that. They promptly showed up at 7, executed the work and they were done by noon. It's just a very professional group and they did a great job. I'm very happy with the finished product.

The price is very reasonable and on the Angie's List he got great reviews. I am still trying to research what is needed to put in a proper driveway to compare, I'd like to see what's needed and compare with the worth write up that he gave, I had experience. I'm going with one that my girlfriend recommended, she said he's fabulous and the town uses him and the price is higher but I think I feel better about it. They're very good, my husband met with them and I didn't.

Don of Metro Paving was punctual, gave a fair price. He showed up just as expected. Got the work done quickly. Paved about 65 feet by 10 feet of my front yeard along street. Looks great. Even found my water turn-off. I would highly recommend this company

I called 3 paving contractors from Angies list, and all three responded to my phone call / voice mail within 2 days. Don Doucette of Metro Paving was one of three paving contractors that I had called for estimates. The other two companies gave similar styled estimates; remove existing asphalt and related debris, widen driveway to 21', install and roll 4and quot; of gravel, 1 1/2and quot; binder and 1 1/2and quot; of finish top and power roll. There were a few reasons why I chose Don Doucette of Metro Paving. 1) he was the only one that recognized the grading issue and stated that he was going to put as much gravel in as needed to properly grade the driveway...not limiting to the standard 4and quot; response. They ended up putting 70 tons of gravel down. 2) his company has the most positive reviews, with several in 2013...recent positive experiences. Don's estimate was not the lowest bid, his was the same as one other contractor, and one came in $800 less. The one that was $800 leass didn't have any recent reviews (within a year). I felt his firm was my best chance for a quality result. As it turned out, my decision was right-on. What I had done the night before was to show an approximate outline of where I wanted the widened driveway borders to be with clothes line rope. That saved a lot of time when they got there. They took that and made the exact measurements from there. They removed the old asphalt and grass, started in with the gravel packing, spreading it out until the grade was right, and rolled it. Then came the binder course of asphalt, installed and rolled, and then the finish top course of asphalt installed and rolled, to include putting a slight buildup at the street to prevent rain water running down the hill and into the driveway and yard, and sealed that with an emulsion at the street. They were done, cleaned up and equipment removed by 6PM, started at 7AM, with a new 1900 square foot drive way installed. He said to stay off of it for 3 days to let it set, which we did. We are very pleased with the result. Don Doucette and his crew knew their craft and applied it professionally. I would use them again if I had an asphalt paving project.
