Larry's cost was quite reasonable considering the size of the property, his thoroughness, and the amount of time he took in inspecting the property I was purchasing. His report was detailed and well explained. Larry was professional, friendly, and considerate. He took a great deal of time explaining his findings and why they were of concern. He spent several hours inspecting the property, and returned an extensive report in less than 24 hours. I'm very happy to have chosen Larry DiPietro for my home inspection. Brilliantly. Larry was tremendous. As first time home-buyers, my wife and I were a bit anxious about the whole process of home inspections, but Larry made it an absolute breeze. He gave supportive guidance throughout the entire process and on the day of the inspection itself was amazingly thorough. He was generous with his insights and patient with his responses to what I'm pretty sure were basic questions. All in all, he was just delightful to work with.

There were snowy conditions outside, so he brought an extra pair of dry boots to not track dirt/water throughout the house. Truly went the extra mile and can honestly say he inspected every nook and cranny from top to bottom inside and out.

I submitted an inquiry through thumbtac for a home inspection for a condo I was purchasing in Boston. Larry responded almost immediately via email to my request. We spoke on the phone about availability, pricing and expectations. I got back to him within a day for a potential dates for the inspection. He fit me in within a few days as I needed the inspection ASAP. Larry spent 2 hours meticulously going over every aspect of the condo. He patiently answered questions while onsite. His report was emailed to me within a few hours. He was readily available to answer questions and concerns brought forth by some possible problems. He was easy to work with, extremely knowledagble, on time and very patient. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any home inspections.

It went well. He gave a lot of information about the homes condition and make recommendations that would only make our home safer. He was even available to consult with after the home inspection and answered my emails Ina timely manner.

I was very nervous at first, but he put me at ease at the very beginning. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He arrived early and spent as much time with me as needed so that I understood what he was inspecting. His service was absolutely incredible! I have heard horror stories about other inspectors who never worked in construction. Larry not only is a licensed home inspector, he is licensed in many construction fields and is also an engineer. I don't think I could have found anyone more knowledgeable and competent than him. I am so glad I hired him. It was money well spent. I was risking my life savings when buying my house and having him inspect my home was the best thing I could have done. I most certainly recommend him to anyone!

It went very smoothly! Larry was extremely thorough, explaining things as he went. You could tell that he was incredibly knowledgeable, but could explain things in a way that I could understand. The report had great pictures, and really gave us a place to start when prioritizing any maintenance on our new home. I was very happy with his work.

Larry was excellent to work with. Extremely professional and prompt with communication leading up to and throughout the inspection. He clearly and objectively assessed the home we are working to buy. He didn't come at us with a doomsday approach, it was balanced, realistic and honest. The inspection report he provided us with is extremely detailed, but easy to read and understand. Larry, was very professional the second I spoke to him. I wish I could give him and A+ for the all of the rating sections. He is highly knowledgeable in the work that he do. We must of spent about 1/2hr on the phone speaking about the inspection. Answer all my question and some more. He also, explained to us what we needed and didn't need during the inspection. He was always up to answer any questions, never showed any kind of annoyance towards me, who had a million and one question. He will be top of my list for our next service. I highly recommend him..

Larry inspected the condo I'm purchasing. The process all went well, from initial contact and scheduling, to the actual inspection and final report. Larry was very thorough and took the time to comment on everything we were looking at, and explained every problematic item even if it's very minor: why it's a current or potential issue, how soon it should be looked at, and the risk and consequence if it's not well maintained. Soon after the inspection I got an electronic report including all the details we talked about, with pictures. It's reassuring to actually know the details about the property I'm buying (not just the appearance of it), and I can use the information I get from Larry to plan proper maintenance. I would definitely recommend Larry to friends and colleagues in the future.

Larry did a great job inspecting the condo I recently purchased. He was dilligent in his inspection and quick to explain thoroughly everything he was doing. It was my first home purchase and he was very patient in explaining the entire process so that I could fully understand everything.
