Colonial Chem-Dry

Things went smoothly and efficiently. Nic was amazing.

Manny was on time, professional, and was an overall great experience. I have used other carpet cleaners in the past and Colonial Chem is one of the best. No hesitation about recommending them.

Colonial Chem Dry did a good job. We had high traffic, older carpet in our first floor that they were able to clean and make presentable. They also spot cleaned stains for us. We couldn't believe how good our old rugs looked after the cleaning.

We have used them before and I have always been pleased with them. We have used them the first time at least 15 years ago. They use a process that dries more quickly than some of the other processes that are used. I think they use carbonated water or something like that. There was just one guy that came out and he was just awesome. He was wonderful!

Manny , the technician had his work made out for him as we have very busy messy grand-kids and pets. the carpeting came out beautiful . he also had a door protector put up that prevented any cold coming in and also prevented the cats from getting out. He is very professional and friendly.

I was very excited to see their Angie's List Coupon, and looking forward to the service. However, I quickly got a message saying that their franchise license does not include Brookline, even though their listing on Angie's List said their service area includes Norfolk County. So I'm pleased they got in touch with me quickly, but really disappointed that their info online is erroneous. The franchise that does apparently cover Brookline, Northeast Chem-Dry, is not nearly as highly rated.

On May/05(Monday), I called ChemDry, because 1). They are near by in Upton, MA. 2). they have an excellent (A) review overall per my checkup in Angie's list. I called a few places, before I follow other reviewer opinion. They came in the same day to pick up this rug. That was very good and diligent pickup with 15% discount. I was told that it would take a good 2 weeks. Ok... It could be, because I thought others also starts to clean their rug for a new year. 2 weeks passed. No call from ChemDry. Ok... They might be scheduling for a delivery. On Thursday of 3rd week, I need to call in ChemDry. They said that they will deliver it Friday. Ok. Then I have them deliver it. When it delivered, I found that it was a damp with moisture. When I step on it with my feet, I can see my socks got wet. I need to roll it up again myself and moved it on top of dining table to have it dry for 2 days. Isn't it too hard to have it cleaned and dried for 3 weeks without having me dry it over my dining table for 2 days before I unroll it in my living room? May be I am unlucky customer.

Came on time. Was efficient and professional. It went very well as cleaner explained what he was doing. I have had wet carpet cleaning & the stains came back in a few days. No so with this method. I have used this company before and will stick with it.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It basically went fine. There was no extra charge. They took a few shortcuts. I watched them do it and I asked them, "Aren't you supposed to have some heavy duty vacuuming happen first?" They said, "It all comes up when we shampoo" which was good but not all of it. A lot of it did but that seemed questionable to me but other than that, it looked fine. They did seem to be professional.

Joe came on time, was courteous, explained the whole process of cleaning, got to work. Also gave an estimate on some upholstery we need cleaned and I will definitely be calling to schedule that job

The tech (Tim) called ahead to let me know he was on the way and he arrived well within the estimated appointment time window. He was very pleasant, professional, and took time to explain the process and answer questions. I was very satisfied with the results - the carpets look great!

The service was great. The guy that came out was very punctual. He was also very respectful, and he did the work in a timely manner. I would recommend him to anyone.

One area rug looked great, one room of carpet mediocre and one area rug still looked totally dirty, but wet. Overall, a mediocre job.

appointment was made quickly- technician showed up when they said he would- he was very professional- explained everything that could happen with some necessary spot removal- put plastic or styrofoam cups under furniture legs- carpets looked great when finished and dryed within a couple hours this is the second time I had used them -same technician

Phil arrived promptly, actually early, but called when he was 20 minutes out. He measured, looked at the carpets and other spots and got right to work. He wasn't there long but he did a great job and got a majority of the spots out of the basement. He also did a great job on the stairs and the few spots on the 2nd floor staircase. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely use them again.

They were able to schedule our visit very quickly. The technician was late, but he called us in advance. The work was good. He was professional and considerate. They were willing to reschedule if necessary.

I had called Chem-Dry because a friend had such a good experience. I scheduled for a Saturday morning, and the technician was prompt, courteous, and professional. I had arranged for both the carpeting and a sofa to be cleaned. When we were looking at the sofa, the technician said that, since the sofa was so old (30+ years), and the fabric so worn, he didn't think it would stand up well to cleaning. I appreciated his comments, and we decided not to do the sofa after all. So he set to work on the upstairs carpeting. I had moved small items out of the rooms, and he said he would have no problem moving the balance of the furniture around to clean. He was done in a couple of hours. The rugs were damp, and dried in 3 or 4 hours. They looked great. A very pleasant experience all around. I would hire Chem-Dry again.

Same as above. Very well. There were a few tough stains that did not come out but I was convinced they did everything they could.

The tech arrived right on time, was eery informative and asked if there were any concern(s) and/or questions before and after the carpet cleaning. The only issue I had was with the schedule. I was scheduled b/w 2 and 4 but the contract before me cancelled, so I either had to move my time or reschedule. After discussing the difficulty with both options, they were able to move it back 1 hour to 1:00. They were very nice and apologetic ...so that helped.

Excellent service provider from customer service to technician.

I found Colonial Chem-Dry through an Angie's List deal, and bought the carpet cleaning service. The rooms and hall I wanted cleaned were in an apartment that was occupied for about 4 years, and from the looks of it, there was very little vacuuming done by my tenants. Aside from an overall dirty look, there was one high traffic section that was particularly matted and dark in color. The technician who came was courteous, easy to work with, and explained what he was doing. He did a great job, got all the carpets back to a great look, and even improved the nasty dark spot in the hallway.

I used an Angie's list deal, which I think was half off. The person who scheduled the app't on the phone was polite and friendly and it was easy to get the app't I needed. Tim was the carpet cleaner and he arrived on time, was very friendly, efficient, and professional and did an excellent job of cleaning the carpet. The carpet looked new when he was finished and it dried quickly. I would use this company again without question and the results were better than I expected.

This is the second time I've used them. I used them last year to clean the sofa. I've had a good experience. They did a pretty decent job and the price was pretty reasonable. They were prompt. They came on time and left on time, which was good. I would absolutely use them again.
