I called Jake on Wednesday and he said he could come on Saturday morning, and he did show up on time. He checked two leaking spots and immediate found one leaking spot on the irrigation system was not actually a leaking, but rather a test botton that should have been set to "off", but had been set to "on" after winterlzation last fall. So he corrected it. And he also repaired a leaking valve. Jake has been very professional and kind, and I would highly recommend him for anyone who needs his help.

Peterson was initially scheduled to come that Monday but called the previous Sunday to say he was running slow on a job in progress. We rescheduled and he showed up as expected. all the worked was completed on time. He showed me all work completed and it was all very well done. He is very well skilled honest and easy to do business. He even told me that certain work I requested could wait so he saved me some money. I will most definitely hire Peterson again the next time I need plumbing work. Reasonable prices, outstanding work and communicates to you exactly what is going on.

He was so kind and helpful and charged a resonable price to come out to fix it, and was very prompt. He also showed me how to do this myself if it happened again. Wow! Not many people would do that. Very professional, punctual, and kind.

He is a great guy. He promptly returns messages/calls. He shows up on time. He makes a special effort to come when you need him. His pricing is fair. I can't praise him highly enough! We had two leaking washlets which he determined was the washlet itself. After ordering replacements (took months due to inventory issues), he came to fix one that was still leaking.

He told me he doesn?t service my area, so I requested a refund.

He was great! He responded to my email through here pretty fast and was very accommodating to my work schedule and came on a Saturday. He was right on time. We went to look at the issue then he went to get the part and was done a lot faster than I expected. He was super nice which put me at ease as I have had issues with a plumber in the past. I emailed him a bunch of times to make sure he was actually going to show up because I had someone not show up before and he was always nice in his responses. I feel relieved to have found my "forever plumber" because it's not easy to finnd someone you can trust. I will definitely use him again and recommendat him to anyone I know who is looking for someone!

Jake was very accommodating and quick with scheduling the install date. He arrived on-time on the day of the install and readily provided his insurance and license. I showed him the tankless heater that I had recently bought but we quickly realized that it was not feasible to install. If I had insisted on installing the heater that I had, it would have meant double the labor to rework the pipes and placing the vent next to the back deck (no way!). Jake suggested a different tankless heater that could use the existing pipes and space. The new tankless cost a reasonable but not significantly higher cost. That provided me with comfort that he didn't shoot down the old one that I had bought just to sell me something that I didn't want to nor was he trying to needlessly drive up the cost. He patiently and thoroughly explained the sizing of the natural gas pipes and helped me entertain the idea of future expansion such as an outside natural gas fire pit. Jake finished the job on the same day, the work site was very clean. He also scheduled and came by at the same time as the inspector to answer questions and to make sure the heater was working properly. He was a true professional from our first phone call to our last hand shake. I would recommend him to anyone in a heart beat.

Fixed the faucet and identified another leak as a roofing problem. I would not have known and am very grateful.

He was good about correcting problems and he was punctual coming back out. His pricing was fair. I would have liked for him to diagnosis the issue the first time so that he didn't have to come back. He did try to charge us for that second time and I told him that he didn't he didn't fix the leak the first time so that is why he had to come back, but then he waved that charge. I would hire him again.

Jake is by far one of the best contractors I've ever met. I called Jake to look at our tub which was not draining. He was able to come same day in between jobs. After working on the tube for 30-40 min in morning he mentioned was going to need a different piece of equipment at his shop and would have to return later in the day. True to his word he came back and spent another 40 min but unfortunately we were unable to solve the issue. It also burned out his motor on one of his machines. At the end of day I asked him how much I owed him and he declined to take payment. I was shocked! He said he only takes payment if he's able to complete the job. I still felt I should compensate him because he worked hard to get it fixed, made two trips to my house, and his machine broke trying to fix the clog. We think the pipe could be frozen at a point in the wall somewhere. After he declined to take any payment, I still wanted to pay him but he still would not take any payment. He is a stand up guy and stands up for his work. Even though this one did not work out I would hire Jake in a second for any of my plumbing needs. It was obvious he cares about the quality of work and makes sure his customers are satisfied with the work he performs. He's earned my trust and you can't put a price on someone who you can trust.

The day before the "Blizzard of 2015" we had another plumber out to replace a leaking washer line shutoff valve. That night we ran the wash and it began leaking again, this time even if the local shut off valve was set to "off", so we had to turn off the water main. In doing so, the water main valve broke, leaving it permanently "off". After researching for a new plumber, I e-mailed Jake the next day (during the blizzard). He responded within the hour and came out the next morning at 8:30am, just as the roads were cleared. He fixed the main line valve and adjusted the installation of the washer valve (the part wasn't defective, it had been installed wrong by the other plumber), and was done in less than 2 hours. Very professional.

Jake replied to my first email very quick and asked me if I could wait a week as he was very busy, as he was highly recommended I decided to wait and told him I would do so. He never got back to me and when i contacted him again, he just ignored my phone calls and messages through Angie's list.

Excellent. Jake was the consummate professional - truly a joy to work with. Wish I knew about him when I bought my house. One of the best experiences I have ever had with a contractor. If you go elsewhere you are nuts.

From the start of the process, Peterson Plumbing was very responsive and professional. They had told me early on that they were booked completely for a particular week, but due to their high reviews, I decided to wait and push the work out an extra couple weeks. I am extremely pleased that i did. The gentleman performing the work, Jake, showed up exactly on time and even sent me a text earlier in the morning to confirm the appointment. When we got to the water heater, he gave me a run down of the plan and included potential issues such as the age of the water and the length of the joint being replaced. The install went very smooth and he was able to accomplish the job in under a couple hours. I couldnt be more pleased. I would highly recommend Peterson Plumbing and will plan on using their services in the future as well.

He did a good job with the gas line and everything passed inspection as well by the town when the stove was finally finished and installed. He did the gas line part.

I can not say enough good things about my experience with Peterson Plumbing. The price was outstanding compared to four other bids but Jake's dependability and professionalism were just as impressive. He was never rattled by any unanticipated situation and was a pleasure to have in the house. He always arrived on time, responded to both phone calls and emails immediately and was flexible in every aspect of the job. This was my first experience hiring a professional based on Angie's list reviews and I am so glad to have relied on them. I am happy to provide a personal recommendation and have asked Jake to provide my phone number to anyone who would like to hear more. And I have to admit that I did all of work other than his and the electricians and he was never frustrated by working with an amateur, which I am sure is a challenge!! (Jake also handled the repair of a leaky shower faucet at my rental property that my previous plumber said needed to be replaced requiring the removal of a substantial amount of tile resulting in a lot mess and expense. He was able to diagnose the issue, get the parts and complete the repair in less than two hour for which I am very grateful!)

My 16 year old water heater was serving rusty water so I messaged a few plumbers on Angies list. Most of them offer around the same prices but you have to watch out for the quality of water heater they're trying to put in your home. Jake's price was very competitive and offered a much better Rheem heater. He was on time and got the job done right. Jake, I'll be contacting you on my future plumbing needs. Thanks!
