He came on time and was very friendly. We had a number of repairs that the home inspector had pointed out and he did them all. He explained what needed to be done and what could wait. He got everything done on time and according to the estimate he had given us.

Jake was terrific. I called him on Monday and was able to set up an appointment for early Tuesday morning, which was great given that my existing faucet was leaking. He arrived as scheduled, was personable, and got the job done without a hitch. He even noticed that the sink wasn't solidly set and took care of that for me. I highly recommend Jake to anyone looking for quality work. I will contact him with additional jobs in the future.

I wish we had discovered Jake years ago! He is responsive, prompt, professional, and does a good job. His prices are fair and more than fair. The most expensive job was the water heater replacement. In total, $900. I had paid my previous plumber $1300 for a new water heater installation about 4 years ago. Jake replaced it with a heater that was waranteed twice as long. Jake has come out to find other problems really easy, and rather than take advantage of us, he has waived fees altogether, or charged something that barely covered his gas for coming out on the call. With Jake, I have never felt I was being treated with other than respect and fairness.

I found his workmanship and professionalism excellent; I had gotten an estimate that was exactly double what he charged. He had no problem installing the new dishwasher that replaced my existing older model; however, the plumber who had given me the higher estimate told me I would have to raise my countertop, which I knew was incorrect. That was one of the reasons I called Angie's List; the other reason was his price! Very pleased I did.

Jake did an amazing job. It took him longer than expected because of the unforeseen issues with nothing lining up or being where it should be. He estimated that the job would take a day to finish; it took three hours into the second day; again because of the stumbling blocks this job presented. Jake needed more parts that originally planned for and when it came time to pay, he did not add on the extra's - stuck to the estimate. We insisted on paying for his out of pocket expenses (minimal amount). He will be back next Wednesday to meet the town plumbing inspector and to cut up and take away the old boiler. He totally deserves his high rating and a first class person and plumber. I would recommend him to anyone needing work done.

I contacted Jake to install a recirculating pump kit I had purchased at a big box hardware store. Jake came over at scheduled date and time, and quickly determined that the size of my pipes were bigger than the lines on the pump. My bad. The store didn't have the other size available, so Jake got a price from his supplier which I agreed to. That's when the trouble started. I wouldn't hear from Jake, so I'd have to call to check on status and arrange times to get work done. Each time he'd have a last minute excuse as to why he couldn't make it, but also said he didn't have all the parts he needed for my job. Five weeks after initial contact with no end in sight, I'm calling it quits and moving on to the next plumber.

He showed up on time, knew was he was doing, was very professional and courteous. Would definitely recommend him to friends and family. Will be using him again in the future for any plumbing needs. A++++

Jake and his team arrived promptly for installation of 2 water heaters in our condo. They were pleasant, professional, and did an excellent job. I am definitely going to use them again in the future for any plumbing repairs/installations!

The first time I hired Jake it was to re-install a couple of toilets which had loosened from the floor. I had initially contacted the plumber I've used on previous occasions, but he never responded to my email messages. I discovered Peterson Plumbing through a special on Angie's List. After Jake had reattached the toilets, I asked him to look at a few other plumbing issues I had, including a high-pitched squeal coming from the shower in my master bedroom. I've had multiple plumbers look at that, and all had been stymied. Jake took it as a challenge. He kept trying different things over a period of quite a few weeks, and finally came up with a solution to the problem -- a problem which I had lived with for 12-15 years. What a pleasure it was to be able to take a shower without the high-pitched noise! Once the shower issue had been resolved, I asked Jake to try to look into a banging sound I had with my pipes. Again, this was a problem which had been very persistent. But Jake was even more persistent, and he finally fixed the problem. Despite the amount of time Jake had spent on the above issues, and the number of visits which they had required, his bill was extremely reasonable -- so much so, that I almost felt guilty. Not only is Jake a great (and persistent) plumber, he's one of the easiest-going people you'll ever meet. He's a real pleasure to work with. I now have a"Go To" Plumber: Jake Peterson (aka Peterson Plumbing). I highly recommend his services.

Great, fixed slow drains and gone in an hour

We had been searching for a plumber for the above mentioned work for 3 weeks. We had made over 10 phone calls for a plumber, and had 4 different ones come out to see the project before we found Jake at Peterson Plumbing. None of the other companies we contacted wanted to take on the project. The unknown under the floor could not be estimated by any plumber. They would not do the work of jack hammering the floor to determine what the extent of the work would be. AND THEN WE FOUND JAKE!! Not only did he give us an estimate prior to starting the job, he did all the work that was required to get the plumbing done. He was professional, prompt, clean, and stayed in budget and on time. I highly recommend Peterson Plumbing for any job that you may need a plumber for, you will not be disappointed!

Called Peterson and scheduled a time to come out. We both figured that snaking the drain would fix the issue. He said he would contact me while he was at the property if something further was needed. Since it wasnt he was able to take care of the issue quickly. I will definitely be using him again for other jobs.

He didn't charge me for the work. I am probably having him out soon. He had to come out three times. I am very happy with him. I have used him for other things too.

I received quotes from a few different plumbers. Jake was the most reasonable and he was the only person to really examine the work required to move the sink. The house is 100 years old so there are a few quirks with the house. Jake came to the house a few times during the project, first to turn things off during demolition, then to move the sink, then to hook up the appliances and install the baseboard heat. Jake identified a couple of issues with the boiler that he quickly repaired. During each visit Jake was on time and professional. The work was completed as promised and everything works fine. He even happily puts up with me calling with all sorts of different questions. Overall it was a nice experience, and definitely one of the areas of the kitchen remodel that actually went well and without issue! I will be using Peterson Plumbing for future work (bath remodels and replacing more baseboards) and would highly recommend him to friends and family.
