Renova Fine Remodeling was fine.

Perfect

We got them from Angie's List. The guy did a great job! He completed the work on time and on budget! He provided good recommendations and suggestions that we would not have thought of. The thing I liked about him besides the great job he did was that he sang while working. He has a wonderful singing voice and it was a treat to hear him sing.

They were very detailed. He did an excellent job and they were clean and on time. We chose them because there were multiple instances of these people doing a great job on Angie's List reports. They are everything and more that has been reported on the list.

Jesus did an excellent job. He was very responsive to what we wanted. He was also as flexible as possible to changes that we asked for during construction. Jesus has an excellent sense of quality. He really wanted the finished product to be right and to be something that we will enjoy. His finishing work is very neat and attractive. We hired Renova to do another job six months later.

Excellent. Superb workmanship from start to finish. Jesus & Rob are an excellent team. I would very highly recommend them.

Sometimes you get lucky and find an old world craftsmen and that is just what we found in Renova. His work quality is second to none. He is very courteous and very meticulous in both his cleanup and assurance we are one hundred percent satisfied with the outcome. This place is so nice that a neighbor noticed it from down the street and actually came over to see how it turned out.

Jesus started the job on time and kept us informed throughout the process. The job took longer to complete than expected and we felt they could have done a better job of leaving the job site picked up at the end of the day. Overall the workmanship looks good and the job was completed within budget.

Scott and his son-in-law came out promptly to do an estimate. They were very pleasant and freely offered suggestions for home improvement. At that time they gave me a rough estimate of costs. It took a while for a more formal estimate to be drawn up because Scott had problems with his aging parents. Meanwhile, I had moved on in my search. If these don't work out perhaps I'll call him in the spring because he's all booked up now.

Scott and Chuss did a great job on refurbishing our basement, and we were impressed with their workmanship. They are a versatile and professional team. We designed the room, and they made it a reality. Scott and Chuss offered useful advice and suggestions on various construction options, hardware vendors, and aesthetic considerations throughout our project. They were quite willing to let us do the interior painting ourselves in order to keep costs down, and they accommodated the schedule of our cabinetry maker by breaking up their work into two stages. Finally, they responded to various concerns about the job as they arose, and they fixed all problems to our satisfaction. Our new basement is now the most attractive and inviting room in our house!

Scott answered our call promptly and made an appointment for that same week. He was very punctual, friendly and professional. A week or so later his associate, Jesus, called us and gave us an estimate and a couple of days later Scott sent us a written estimate for a different amount but honored the verbal estimate after we emailed him and informing him of the difference. They patiently waited for our answer calling in once to check. At the end we decided that we weren't ready for the project but we will definitely will call them back when we are. Jesus and Scott are both great persons and we look forward to working with them in the future.

Scott and Chuss have done an absolutely terrific job. We could not have hoped for a more professional, competent and pleasant team. They have good design ideas (such as building shelves into the new dividing wall) and have a great eye for detail. Their execution is excellent - and with no significant ''collateral damage'' - they are very tidy and unobtrusive and they have what they need on hand when they need it. We will not hesitate to work with them again and we recommend them unreservedly.

Phenomenal job! It looks better than new. Scott and Chuss are suburb craftsmen that really care about the client and the job. I trust them explicitly. I will personally vouch for them anytime - 978-264-9433.

Scott was knowledgeable. I was disappointed though that I didn't receive his estimate until over a month from when I had expected to receive the estimate.

HE IS AN A++++. WE ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND HIM AND WOULD USE HIM AGAIN (AND PLAN TO DO SO). IT'S WITH RESERVATION THAT WE MENTION HIM BECAUSE SELFISHLY, WE WANT HIM TO BE AVAILABLE. BUT IN THE SPIRIT OF ANGIE'S LIST, WE'RE REVIEWING HIM. THE LEVEL OF THE PORCH BEAMS DOESN'T VARY FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER BY EVEN 1/4 INCH!!! HE WAS NOT THE CHEAPEST BID, BUT THAT'S BECAUSE HE DOES THINGS RIGHT, AND EXPLAINS HIS APPROACH. HIS PRICING, FOR THE WORK DONE, IS VERY FAIR. HE GAVE US ALTERNATIVES, EXPLAINED THEM, AND MADE SUGGESTIONS.

SCOTT WAS PROMPT, RESPONSIVE, AND PROFESSIONAL. HE WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDE US WITH AN ESTIMATE DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND HIS CONTROL, AND HE GOT BACK TO US AS SOON AS THE SITUATION WAS APPARENT. MANY BUILDERS WOULD HAVE LEFT US HANGING, BUT HE DID NOT. HE WAS HONEST AND FORTHRIGHT ABOUT THE REASONS FOR DECLINING THE JOB.

HE IS NOT VERY GOOD AT RETURNING PHONE CALLS. HE RETURNED SOME, BUT NOT ALL.

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH SCOTT'S WORK. WE COMMUNICATED VIA EMAIL MOST OF THE TIME WHICH WORKED OUT VERY WELL. VERY PROMPT WITH GETTING BACK WITH QUESTIONS, ETC. HE IS EXTREMELY THOROUGH, WILL SPEND TIME TO DO THINGS THE RIGHT WAY AND WILL NOT CUT CORNERS. HE QUOTED ME AN ESTIMATE ON HOW MANY HOURS TO DO THE JOB AND WENT OVER THAT ESTIMATE BY 15 HOURS(DOUBLE THE ESTIMATE) HOWEVER, HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND I DID NOT END UP PAYING THE WHOLE AMOUNT. THE ONLY OTHER THING IS THAT HE COULD OF LEFT THE WORK SPACE CLEANER EACH DAY. I HAD A LOT OF TOOLS LEFT AT THE JOB SITE FOR THE 8 DAYS HE WAS WORKING. SCOTT IS A REALLY NICE GUY AND I WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN.

THIS IS THE 3RD TIME I CONTRACTED WITH SCOTT MUNROE, AS USUAL, I GOT THE EXCELLENT WORK QUALITY AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE THAT MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO EVER CONSIDER GOING TO OTHERS. IT IS NOT OFTEN THAT I FIND MYSELF RECOMMENDING A REMODELER, BUILDER, HANDYMAN, BUT IN THIS CASE, SCOTT IS FAR BEYOND THE NORM: A FORMER ENGINEER WITH KEEN ANALYTICAL & CREATIVE PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITIES. HE DESIGNED MY PORCH FROM THE GROUND UP, AND IS FINISHED MY BASEMENT. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A REMODELER SO THOROUGH THAT HE VASTLY EXCEEDED MY OWN REQUIREMENTS, YET SURPRISINGLY AFFORDABLE; A GREAT VALUE IF YOU LIKE HIGH QUALITY WORK & PROFESSIONALISM. ALSO CREATIVE & TRUSTWORTHY TO BOOT. HE COMMUNICATES VIA EMAIL AND VOICE-MAIL,RETURNS ALL CALLS, & HAS THE GOOD MANNERS TO INFORM YOU IF HE IS RUNNING LATE TO AN APPOINTMENT.
