Titan Plumbing & Heating

I love Titan Plumbing. I will always use them. They came when they were supposed to, and did a thorough job. They gave me recommendations to keep the furnaces running well and to save me money. They seem honest and don't try to sell you things that you didn't ask for or don't need or want. I have recommended them to others, and they were extremely satisfied with them as well.

I bought a turn-on, tune-up and inspection for my air conditioner. Chris came out, performed an inspection of my air conditioner but determined that he was unable to service my unit because it was much smaller than the units that they are able to service and didn't have a condenser. However, he did show me how I could clean my filter and did a general inspection. I was able to get a rebate from Angie's List. Chris from Titan Plumbing and Heating was professional and informative! Overall, a very good experience.

While we did receive a prompt response and follow up phone call, and the service tech was very nice, he spent approximately 15 minutes at the house, never opened the unit and told us we needed a new condenser. We have a Bryant unit currently but he wouldn't be replacing it with another Bryant, but instead would replace it with another brand which is "just as good". He also recommended that we upgrade to R410, from R22, because R22 "might" be phased out in "a few years". The approximate cost for replacing with the upgraded unit, which would require a new coil as well, was $5000. As any smart consumer would do, I called someone else to give us an estimate as well only when the other company came out, they opened the unit and knew immediately that the condenser was fine but the capacitor needed to be replaced - which is a much more common issue considering I should have another 8 years of life in our current unit. The cost of the capacitor is only $25. Be careful with this company consumers because you'll likely be sold something that you don't need at a cost that FAR exceeds what you should be spending.

Amazing, service technician was more than a very skilled professional, he was extremely knowledgeable and was able to communicate the positives with my system, the deficiencies and the concerns in manner that ensured my understanding ensuring that I would make the right decisions in the future. In case you couldn't tell, I am very impressed with Titan Plumbing and Heating and would (and will) recommend them to others.

Four different options were provided, from replacing a leaking faucet to replacing the sink and faucet, with prices for each. I choose to replace the sink and have a new faucet installed. The work was documented and completed on schedule. I'm very happy with the results.

Even booking the appointment was a pleasure. The woman who scheduled us remembered that we had to cancel earlier and was very sweet. Anthony (the plumber) was great! He was on time, very friendly, and incredibly helpful. He looked at a few things I had questions about. The main reason for his visit was to check out the main shutoff valve for the house. He explained that because the valve was before the water meter he would need to contact the town to see how they would like him to handle it. He called them right on the spot, and even when he found out that the town would do it without needing a plumber, he booked the appointment for me on the phone right then. I had him check out a few other things in the house, and he replaced the outdated innards of a toilet that was running. I would definitely call them again when I need a plumber in the future.

This review is a bit skewed because the deal I bought was l was for tune up, cleaning and inspection. However, in preparing for the visit, I realized that the once-fine insert was being finicky and not lighting properly. I could get the pilot going, but not the entire fireplace. I was hopeful to get some answers from the tech when he came. Again, I realize this might not be what the deal was aimed to address. When the technician came he was punctual and super friendly, but did not seem entirely competent in gas insert fireplaces. He, too, could get the pilot but not much else going. He did minimal cleaning, and tested some wires, and was done fairly quickly (within 30 minutes or so). I realize that because the fireplace was half functional, his scope of work is limited, but did feel like he didn't do much in the way of cleaning or inspecting (and understand that a "tune up" wasn't possible). In any case, I asked what we needed to do to get the insert working again. His guess was rewiring some electrical, at an estimate of somewhere in the $600-800 range, with a clear caveat that that may not actually be the fix. Again, the guy was super nice, but it did feel a lot like a guess and wasn't especially confidence inducing. Ultimately we did have it fixed by another company, and it was $350 and required a new pilot to get up and running again--meaning if I'd gone with Titan's guy, I would have paid a lot of money to ultimately not fix the machine.

I'm basically trusting that he did what he needed to do since I was busy when he was doing the inspection. He said that it was all in good shape at the end.

Fireplace and glass were cleaned, just want I wanted.

He came on time and was courteous. He went about his work without bothering us and he did not try to push unnecessary services. though he did mention them.

Very professional and performed service as promised; also recommended the furnace exhaust system replacement as I know there was an issue and the technician pointed out and gave me very reasonable price to perform the task and fix the issue.

Service was on time, courteous, and complete. Gas log, etc., were inspected, and a loose wiring was fixed. Nothing was needed, so the call was uneventful (a good thing).

I had reached out to get some gas fitting work done. When I reached out via AngiesList I got a response back in under 2hrs. I was told they were licensed to do that type of work and was told someone would reach out to me. I got a call from Jared who adjusted his schedule to fit my mine and met me 3 days later. Jared came over to provide an estimate for the work, while doing the estimate he noticed that my hot water tank was leaking and suggested that if I could only do one project (gas fitting or hot water tank) he would recommend I do the water tank (far less money than the gas fitting). He provided 6 solutions for the problem, one of them included taking advantage of the warranty on the existing tank. While he was there I asked him to look at the pump on my heating system which was leaking. Without explaining anything to him about the problems I was having he told me exactly what the issues and again provided 6 solutions to the problem. In addition to Titan, I got estimates from two other contractors. None provided the level of customer service that Jared did and none provided more then one solution to each problem. Jared's estimate was detailed and he was actually the lowest price of all three. Jared came to the house today (15 minutes early), installed the new water heater and pump and showed my wife how to use both. When he came in from the basement to make sure the water was hot upstairs he took care to put on booties as to not get the floor dirty. I would HIGHLY recommend Jared and Titan again!

It was good. Everything was efficient and prompt. One technician came out.

I needed a new kitchen faucet installed.The handle was broken and water was leaking from under the sink and around the faucet. I purchased my own faucet after researching these on the web. I called Titan having used them last fall (found them through Angie's List) and had a very positive experience with them at that time. I was able to schedule an appointment very quickly. I received a reminder call the day before the appointment and a call the day of the appointment to alert me that the technician was on his way to the appointment (arrived as scheduled). It didn't take long to identify that the old garbage disposal was leaking from a large, visible crack. I elected to have a new one installed at the time. The installation went very smoothly, everything was cleaned up and left in perfect condition. Additionally, the technician whose name was Jared was pleasant, professional and competent. I would definitely use Titan in the future for other plumbing needs. Wasn't sure what the going rates are for prices for this type of service since i didn't comparison shop so I gave them an A.

It could not have gone any better. Our fireplace has never looked better. We feel much better now that it has beencleaned and inspected and it is a new house and we were not sure if the previous owners ever serviced it. Now for the amazing part. The Big Deal included a full house plumbing inspection. The person's name was Phil and he did a very detailed and thorough inspection of EVERYTHING! He was there about 2 1/2 hours. For $99? You cannot beat that. He was friendly and very professional and we would use them for any future needs without hesitation. Well done!

I've had great experience with most of my Angie's List provider's; but Anthony from Titan Plumbing was perhaps the best provider that I've had to date. Extremely thorough, thoughtful, respectful, and generous in spirit, Anthony was ready to go the extra mile in researching the off switch, including talking with a local distributor; and answered all of my questions completely and without judgement. Titan Plumbing is lucky to have this guy working for them!

It took some time but Chris was able to diagnose what was wrong fairly quickly. Once he did so the stove needed an extensive clean to get rid of all the water. He also helped me to locate a part that needed replacing.

The technician was very professional and spent a good deal of time on each fireplace. The first fireplace was done through an Angie's List deal ($99). The second fireplace cost their standard $225. The standard cost seems high to me.

.On their first visit they tuned up the gas fireplace, on an Angie's List Deal,but we needed some electrical work we knew we needed on a return visit. They had to remove the fireplace and allow access for the electrician who performed the job very efficiently. On both visits Anthony, from Titan was extremely professional and explained everything in detail that was done and needed to be done. Jason, the electrician also did a very good job. All work was explained,performed well and the work areas were well maintained. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again.

Chris from Titan was great. He came on time and performed all the services we asked for. He was very personable , very patient and answered all of our questions. He performed a combustion analysis on our new boiler and discovered that we were not operating at the right efficiency. We contacted the gas company and they came out to remedy the problem.
