2nd time using this company with no issues. Good value compared to competition's prices. Did what they said and cleaned up afterwards.

They were quick to get out and look at my home. They gave a clear and consise estimated, with the cost of additonal work to be done, if they found it. They came out and did the job and left the area clean. The new gutters did their job 100% through Sandy...No Bs and not hastle. I would highly recommend them for gutter and replacement.

For $75 I would think they would also clean the roof but that is additional. What good is cleaning a gutter if the roof still has leaves on it?

Have used this company for a number of years. They are punctual, neat and even call to remind me in the fall and spring.

Being late in the season, cleaners were working limited days because of the cold. American Gutter Cleaning was able to fit me in a few days after I called since we had a few days above freezing. And it was New Years Eve to boot. The 2 men quickly cleaned the gutters and downspouts, and then cleaned the ground beneath. All debris was left in tied garbage bags in the driveway for me to dispose of. My only gripe is that the man on the back side of the house was not using a ladder and instead balanced carefully on the roof with his foot against the gutter.

When they came to do the job, I mentioned that my townhouse neighbor and I were having some dripping from the end of the gutter that lies below the edge of the roof valley. Julio installed a diverter on each side and said that should do the trick. Upon the next rainfall, I noticed that the dripping was continuing. I called American Gutter and they sent Julio back out to install an additional diverter on each side. Upon next rainfall, the dripping was gone! They never charged me for the diverters on my side or my neighbors, which was outside the scope of work. Also, they never charged for the second trip out to install the second set of diverters. American Gutter is a top-quality outfit, staffed by knowledgeable, hardworking and honest individuals. I highly recommend them.

Made an appointment on the phone and they did, as stated, come out within a week as weather permitted. It was a straightforward job of cleaning gutters I have on 3 sides of my colonial and my garage. I noticed they didn't end up cleaning my garage gutters. A representative called me to explain why and adjusted the price accordingly. She called before I had a chance to call and ask about it, and this was appreciated. It turns out because I have shields on my garage gutters they didn't clean them, they only will remove screens. I wanted them cleaned due to a chipmunk crawling up and nesting, but this was reasonable, so I mailed them a check for the adjusted amount for just the gutters on my house. Felt they were prompt, did the job well, and they bagged all debris. Price was fair.

I have been using this company for several years. We had an old split level house that needed gutter cleaning when we moved in. We ended up tearing that house down and built a brand new colonial in 2008/2009. The gutters were brand new. I noticed over the winter the gutters were not draining and began to freeze as ice hung from the sides. In the spring the problem continued as water poured over the side of the gutters. The water removed about a foot of landscaping and top soil below. American Gutter cleaning called me last week to come out and clean the gutters. I explained to her what the problem was, and how either the downspouts were not cleaned or the gutter was damaged by someone. Initially, I agreed to try them again, but asked if I could be there to watch the team clean the down spouts. I asked her to let me know when they were coming. I also asked if they would give a discount off the price if the spouts were clogged. She Replied " we are too busy to let you know when the team is coming to your home. We don't do outgoing phone calls. As for the discount, we are talking about the service that was a year ago. So, we cant give you a discount for that" She never heard me and didn't care. I cancelled my appointment. Taking my business someplace else.

I have used American Gutter Cleaning off and on for a few years as I have had difficulty finding a firm that will even come and do the work. My gutters need to be cleaned 4-6 times a year. It is difficult to get them to clean up after themselves, the constantly lose the drain spout screens which I find in the trash and the gutters are filthy after they have done their work. I told them not to call me anymore. Now that I am on Angie's list. I hope to find another reputable and reliable gutter cleaner.

They were responsive. They put the gutters up where the molding was rotting a little bit which they weren’t supposed to do. That’s why I had to have the carpenter out to replace the molding and I ran into all the troubles with them. It was a small gutter that was rotting, but they should have told me. I spoke to them about it too. The company generally does a fine job. They weren’t very expensive. They are responsive and do a good job, but there was one little slip up. I would use them again in the future.

I think I spent around $140 on that service. They came out promptly, did the work, and did what I asked for as far as leaving the trash. I had no problems with the work, they did a good job. Once the appointment was made and since it was all outdoor work, they came in when they were scheduled and I was not at home. I would tell others that I would certainly recommend them. Their price was probably a little higher than I expected, but they told me what the price was going to be right up front. When I first contacted them they told me what the price was going to be and I agreed to it and that is what it was, so there were no complaints there.

I called them on a Tuesday for a gutter cleaning. I needed 1 - 23' section on second floor, and 2 - 14' sections on first floor. They quoted me a price of $75 and said sometime within one week they would be out to clean the gutters. They needed to have one outside faucet working for the flushing. They came Sunday when I wasn't around, they cleaned and flushed the gutters and left the bill on my front door. I think $75 was a fair price given the time of year (high season). I will be calling them next year as well.

Three men showed up a few days after I called for service. I was told they did not phone before arriving. They just show up. I heard the leaf blowers outside the house and they were already at work. They did exactly as I was told they would do, for the most part. After clearing the gutters, they swept and raked up the gunk and left it in a bag by the garage door. The only exception was in the front of the house, where one man used a leaf blower to move the mud into the garden beds. I wasn't so happy about that, since I didn't really want tiny bits of roof shingle in the garden. However, they did hose off the wood trim where the leaf blowers had spattered muck from the gutters. It was quick and easy.

Very frustrating experience. My yard was looking great with no leaves, fresh cut, and new spring mulch. The American Gutter cleaning crew used a blower to clean out the gutters and left gutter leaves/debris all over my yard and mulch. I ended up calling the office in which she apologized and sent the guys back out to clean up the mess. I could not believe the crew left my yard in the condition that they did and thought it was acceptable. That was the first and last time I will be using this company.

They are good and I have been using their services for many years now. They are punctual and do a good job. I have a small house and they are reasonable too. I have a contract with them which is on an annual basis. It was raining heavily when they came out to get the last job done. The price that they charge is good, but I think you can get the work done for a cheaper price too. They are reliable and I don't have to chase them down. They schedule their work well. I also got a discount for renewing my contract.

I have a contract with them to clean the gutters twice per year. They come during the weeks I request and clean out the gutters. They bag the waste and leave it in my trash and leave a note that they were there. $135 is a good price for twice per year that I do not have to climb up and get the leaves out. The workers are pleasant and professional.

They do a good job. Not only do they clean the gutters, but they flush out the downspouts. We have had past troubles with water collecting in the basement. We haven't had any problems with that because they have been working with us. They also saw that some of the gutter seams were leaking. They went around and sealed up the seams.

They have been fine. I last used them in January. I get it done in the winter. I wasn't here when they did the work and I have only dealt with them over the phone. I think that I have used them three times.

Easy to schedule, no mess afterwards.

They did a nice job. I schedule them to come out and I don't have to be there. They leave what they have cleaned out of the gutter in a little plastic bag. They cleaned them all very well. They come when they say they will.

We liked this company. They were very professional. We did have a little trouble with scheduling though. We would use this company again. They did the job and bagged up the debris for us.

They seem to do a good job at cleaning the gutters. They show up on time an when they say they will. The price has gone up a little over the years though.

We've had this company cleaning our gutters for over 4 years. Each year the price has increased. This year they called to schedule service and the price had jumped significantly. The woman on the phone told me that was because I had five gutters (I have 3 main ones and a 4th that is literally 3 feet long which they typically don't clean so I have to) and that as a result the price had gone up. The house hasn't suddenly grown new gutters -- it is the same as it has been for 50 years. I explained that to the woman on the phone who couldn't have cared less -- presumably manager of the sales prevention department. What a rotten attitude -- I'll find someone else.

We called AGC to schedule a gutter cleaning (an 800 number). I was impressed with the knowledge and attentiveness of the person I spoke with. She said AGC would send a gutter cleaning team to our house in 1-2 weeks. The team of two men arrived unannounced about 10 days later. AGC cleaned the gutters and downspouts at our home. Two representatives arrived at our home with ladders, bags and cleaning tools. They knocked on the door when they arrived and then climbed on the roof and cleaned all the gutters within about 45 minutes. Both men worked continuously during this time. They bagged the material they removed from the gutter and placed the bags in our garbage can as we requested. They cleaned up after themselves and left our yard cleaner than they found it (they picked up some stray bits of trash and mud near our garbage cans). The only limitation of AGC was that they were not able to schedule a specific day/time for the gutter cleaning. They did arrive within the time period of 1-2 weeks as promised, but we did not know when they would arrive. We paid by mailing in a check to AGC. We found the price ($95) reasonable. AGC offers to clean gutters twice a year and we have signed up for this.
