They were pleasant, professional and punctual.

After several phone calls and waiting several months, 2 guys just showed up out of the clear blue on a Sunday in the middle of a snow storm. No phone call, no scheduling, nothing. They ring my door bell and say they are here to clean my gutters. At least that was my guess because of the lettering on the truck. I really couldn't understand a word of english this guy was speaking. I was going to tell them to forget it because it was now the middle of the winter and it was snowing out but decided to let them continue. Big mistake. Their "cleaning" of my gutters took all of 20 minutes, and I have a fairly large house. The last company that cleaned my gutters took a couple of hours. They were gone in a flash and left me a tiny bag near my door with about 10 leaves in it. That works out to more than $10 a leaf. Not a great deal. I would never use this company again. Their price was decent and now I know why. It's hard to believe I actually got less than I paid for but I feel I was totally ripped off.

Project went well and I'm very satisfied with the result. The gentleman who came out to provide the estimate was professional, friendly, and informative when I asked him questions - and he answered all of my questions. The work was scheduled and the workers who came out to install were friendly and efficient. When I pointed out one area which had not had a gutter installed, they promptly checked, verified, and installed. They also considered my landscaping and set the downspouts to avoid run-off toward my house. All in all, I would definitely recommend (and have!) American Gutter Cleaners to others!

I have used this company for 12 years. The first 9 years they were terrific. The past 3 have been a challenge. The quality and detail has been lacking. They have not cleaned up after themselves like they used to. In 2011 they placed ladders on top of my shrubs and broke them in half. To their credit they did pay for the damage. This year as always I prepaid to have gutters cleaned on both properties last week in November. Despite numerous calls conveying my concerns about frozen leaves being left in the gutters they showed up on a 24 degree day in the snow to clean the gutters on December 26th. I spoke a woman named "Mum" who claims to be the manager. She indicated they have experienced weather related delays. While I am senistive to weather issues, we have only had 2 rainy days in November , the 27th and the 29th and snow arrived on December 11th. In my opinion they had plenty of time from the scheduled week of November 24th to the date of our first snow fall December 11th to recover from any delays. She was rude, raised here voice and not only did she not want to accommodate my request to have it rescheduled within the next 4 days when the tempatures are prediced in the 40's and the debris would not be frozen she yelled at me and said they were not going to service me and would refund my money. Within 15 minutes of this woman hanging up on my I found a gutter company who listened to my concerns, and scheduled my cleaning. I have owned a service business for 26 years and If one of my employees spoke to one of our customers in like American Gutters manager spoke to me they would have been dismissed from their duties.

I contacted this company in November, and they told me that they would be at my house within the next 4 to 5 days to clean the gutters. They never showed up, and they never called. On December 26th, (the day after Christmas), as my family is relaxing the work truck for American Gutter Cleaning pulls up in front of the house and one of the workers gets out and starts pulling the hose off their truck, while the other one rings the doorbell. I sent them away!!!!! I cannot believe this company thinks a good time to clean someone's gutters, is over a month late, the day after Christmas, while it is snowing out and the temperature outside is about 18 to 20 degrees. Do they really think that connecting their hose to a homeowners water supply in sub freezing temperatures is a smart idea!!!! Not to mention they cannot even safely reach the gutters due to the snowbanks, and whatever is in the gutter is frozen solid. I called the company, and the only thing I was told was they were running late.....no comment on the lack of communication, and when I mentioned the safety issues, and the potential for pipes bursting.....they said nothing at all. I'm just glad we were home, I can only imagine the amount of damage that would have ocurred had we not been home. I would not use this company, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

Used them several years ago and the yard was a mess when they left. I said then I wouldn't use them again but this year I forgot. They first told me it would be within a week but they never showed. When I contacted them 8 days later I was told it was scheduled for the next Saturday. It rained that next Saturday and they completely neglected to reschedule with me. It's now 2 weeks later and I'm scheduled with another company but with snow on the roof already and more to come it's likely my gutters won't be cleaned this year. Hope I don't face ice dams and water leaks this winter!

ok. workers left plastic bag of debris for me to dispose of. My issue is that the company left one bill, mailed 2 bills and left a telephone message telling me that my payment was overdue, all in less than 30 days of the date of service. I found this to be extremely unprofessional and would not recommend this company.

Every year I have this provider come to my house the first week in December to clean my gutters. This year they still haven't shown up and have not even called me. I've had to call them twice and they promised they would be at my house soon, but were running behind. It is now Dec. 15th, there is snow and ice in my gutters now, and they never showed up. I will not use them again.

Have used them for a few years and not had a problem them come clean the gutters and leave the debris in a trash bag.

They were punctual. Thorough. Ran thru the job when completed and cleaned up

It went pretty well, but they seemed rushed when they were finishing up. Where they had to remove a few screws to clean out a few of the curved parts directly under the gutter, they had forgotten to screw them back in. We have had a loose downspout that leaks ever since.

Not so well -- they walk on our roof to clean the gutters, and we've heard them slip and fall -- it scares me that someone will fall off the roof or tear off a gutter trying to stop themselves. When I called today to have them come out, they said it'd be sometime in the next week, and if I wanted them NOT to walk on the roof, they'd charge me an extra $50. That's why I came here -- to find another provider.

I've used American Gutter cleaning services for years. I have always been pleased with their dependability, efficiency and professionalism.

I contacted American Gutter on Monday, 8-July, and asked for a price to clean my front and rear gutters (including my carport covered deck gutters). They informed me that they would be there "within a week" to perform the service. They arrived on Friday, 12-July, and performed the cleaning services. The two guys that worked at my house introduced themselves and asked if I wanted to keep the leaf guards (the cheap-o metal inserts). I told him that I didn't need them anymore as they were actually causing more junk to get into my gutters. Within minutes, both guys set up the ladders and were on my roof spraying away. They were very efficient and professional. After they removed the gutter guards and cleaning the debris out of the gutters, they came down to the ground level and cleaned up. I was pleasantly surprised by two things: 1. They washed my bow windows that had a bunch of gutter gunk on them from their spraying. They made sure it was left very clean. They also picked up all the junk from the ground and left it in a black trash bag for me. They used an air blower to clean up the surrounding area. 2. They re-installed a gutter that had fallen down (it fell down before they arrived). I was actually shocked. I figured that they'd just leave it on the ground because they're not the ones that caused it. However, one of the guys went to the truck and grabbed a power drill/screwdriver. He had the gutter installed in minutes and then left the job site. I was very happy with the service provided and would use their services again. I was initially surprised by the price ($110), but in the end it was definitely worth it.

Removed all leaves + debris and rinsed. I've been using American Gutter for 5 years and the quality of service has remained excellent

They have always done an excellent job. They leave the leaves in a plastic bag and everything is done safely and on time.

They did a good job, but they charged way to much. It's my fault for not getting a second estimate from another company. I did the following year & found someone who did it for half of what they charged. The new company was just as good & a lot cheaper,

I believe I covered that in the paragraph above, It was just a gutter cleaning you can only say so much.

They charge $100 for the gutter cleaning and when I ask them to clean the roof, they charge me $50. They got a good price, are easy to deal with, and they show up when they say the're going to show up. They do a nice job and they clean up after themselves.

They cleaned our gutters and noticed that the back gutter was broken. We agreed that it needed replacing. They gave us an estimate and we accepted it. They did a great job. They have been cleaning our gutters for a long time, and do a good job each time. The only thing I don't like is that they cannot give a specific day that they will come, they can only give the week. We accepted this, but would have liked a specific date.

Another very satisfied visit. We will see them next year!

I agree with two other reviewers that they are deceptive. They advertise the average price for gutter cleaning is $65-$95 while charge $95 to clean my gutters about just 70 ft in total length (35 ft each at the front and back of the house). I used this company before, it seemed OK for the first time because I was not at home while they did the clean. I saw a black trash bag 1/3 full of leaves and debris after the clean and that made me thought they did a OK job. So I decide to use them again this year, the difference is that I was at home this time when they did the cleaning. After I watched how them did the clean, I have decided that I will not use them again in the future. They seem to be in a rush start from the very beginning, standing on the roof and trying to use a leaf blower to blow everything off the gutter. You can imagine (1) the debris went all over the places. (2) sludge built up in the past years may not be blown off by just using the leaf blower. They did all the cleaning in about 15 minutes (two person) or 0.5 man-hour equivalent for $95. When I asked them to do a health check for the gutter, one of the guy stood on the roof and used his foot to kick the gutter as his way to check.

I called American Gutter Cleaning on Nov 17 to arrange to clean my gutters. I was quoted $75 (which I always thought was a bit high) and was told that the work would be completed within the week, weather depending. The weather was good (no rain, snow, or high winds) for the next six days; day seven it rained. No gutter cleaners arrived during the week. I called again on Nov 29 and was told that the weather had been bad (!) and that someone would be out that week. I called again **the next week**, and finally someone came. I have used American Gutter Cleaning for a number of years and may need to find another provider.

I have hired this company for year-end gutter cleaning for many years. The quality of their work was good initially but had deteriorated in the last two years. However, this year's service had improved. Their workers weren't in a rush to leave any more as in the last two years. This time, they actually took the time to inspect the gutter condition, performed minor repairs and nailed down the loose spots. Hope this company maintains good quality of work in the future.

I they are extremely deceptive. I went to their website and it says the average price for gutter cleaning is $65-$95. They quoted me $160 and we only have gutters on 3 sides. They told me that the average price is for 2 sides of gutters but housed have 4 sides! I will not be using them.
