Highly recommend this company. Fast response and very knowledgeable.

Two years after the condenser for my central a/c system "died", it was time to get it running for this summer I'm not a big fan of researching and contacting HVAC vendors due to past experiences. One company charged $99 to get to your house to diagnose and then so much per hour..to be seen again only if you hire them. Next company arrived, diagnosed the unit as "dead" went to his truck and returned with an estimate of $10,000-$12,000 for a high efficiency furnace, a/c combo. It was the only unit they offered. I don't need a furnace! Next company provided a decent estimate according to web info I found ($5800) but I emailed a number of questions the day after the visit and never received a response, including questions about pricing and questionable items that probably weren't necessary. I also called but no call back. This summer I decided to try a smaller company without all the fancy commercials, that the customer pays for in the end. After a good amount of research, I decided to contact MTS Mechanical. Since I live in North Providence and they are out of Swansea, the proximity worked for me. From the first call from Kyle I had a good feeling about hiring MTS. Kyle came out, verified the "dead" condenser and explained what had to be done. Never was there any attempt to sell me anything. He explained the high efficiency principle more clearly to me at which time I absolutely knew that h/e was not for me. With just a few days notice, they were here.I inquired about maintenance and /or service contracts. The unit has a 10 year warranty. Their work also has, I believe, a 1 year warranty (cannot positively recall right now). The most important point he emphasized was to change the filter regularly! He showed me the dust, dirt and whatever other nasty stuff that had been collected in the evaporator over the years. Gross! It may have partially contributed to the unit's demise. Not really sure how any air was moving through the system! On the install day, Kyle and Jeremy arrived on time, worked quickly and left me with a perfectly functioning a/c system...just hours before the first of many scorching summer days arrived! In the end, the total was $4500...$13,000 less than the lowest quote (and the quoted price was the final price!). What more can I say? Personable, reasonable, punctual! Give MTS Mechanical a try! You won't regret it!

What a great company! Carlos, our hot water heater installer, is the best! Our electric water heater failed and flooded the kitchen and living room on Sunday afternoon(July 22, 2018). I bought a replacement heater at a local plumbing supply store on Monday, and was searching Home Advisor on Tuesday for an installation. While I was still signed in and having just submitted my information including phone number, the phone rang and it was Kyle from MTS. I had not even finished my request and he was calling me. His partner, Carlos, was finishing another job and could start my job in about 2 hours. Carlos arrived about 1 pm and finished about 4:00. After 2 1/2 days, we had hot water! I can't say enough about MTS, you will not go wrong with them. Further, the price was fair and reasonable, about two-thirds less than other quotes I received.

Professional, timely, patient - with a full explanation of issues. Kyle and Carlos were terrific. Arrived on short notice within 24 hours of requested appointment. A/C problems were fixed within 1 hour. Happy I hired them.

They came over on short notice and squeezed in multiple repairs on a busy afternoon. They charged me $300 to replace a capacitor in the A/C condenser unit and $150 per pound of R-22 refrigerant.

Responsive, professional, friendly, no games with the quote, and a full explanation of what went wrong. Carlos serviced my home and was excellent. Highly recommend.

I emailed requesting an estimate to get a leak behind my washer fixed. Kyle phoned me shortly and scheduled my appointment with Carlos for first thing the next morning. Carlos arrived on time, reviewed all the work I wanted done, gave me a quote and time frame to complete the work. He is professional and very knowledgeable. He answered my questions and made some recommendations, gave me a fair quote and estimated work would be finished the same day. He completed the work in the expected time and for the cost a quoted. I am extremely please with all my interaction with MTS Mechanical. I'll definitely call on them when I have future work and highly recommend them.

Carlos came in the house and right away noticed that the emergency burner switch was off. He switched it on and the boiler kicked on right away. He then took the time to explain the condition and maintenance of the system. He even waived the $99 visit fee. Very friendly and helpful!

I could not be happier with the service I got from MTS Mechanical. Kyle called me just minutes after scheduling my project here, and said he could have someone to me that afternoon. Called back 20 mins later to say he had someone on the way! Within 3 hours the job was done! Carlos was the plumber that came out, He was very professional, made a couple calls, picked up a part, and did an excellent job repairing my plumbing. Very reasonable rates. I will definitely be keeping their card, and will not hesitate to call these guys again! Very impressed with the service they provide! And that is a rare thing these days! I got almost immediate response to inquiring about my need for plumbing work. Jeremy was my initial contact at MTS who then set up an appointment for Carlos to review my project, provide an estimate and schedule a day to complete the work. Carlos was very prompt, efficient, and professional in doing the work. He installed current code required incoming water line valves, check valve and expansion tank; also replaced two outside faucets and their inside shutoff valves and then replaced two toilet shutoff valves. Perhaps more than I expected to spend but work quality was excellent.

Polite, informative, prompt, and hired them for another project.
