Bogen Electric LLC

Our lights have been flickering and we could not pin point the issue. We had the electric company come and they said the cause had to be something on our end. So I got Bogen Electric from angie's list. Ben came out on Friday, investigated and felt before we dig up the front lawn, we should take babysteps. We agreed with his plan. He called Monday with a quote and said the part would be in on Wednesday. He came out first thing in the morning and replaced the breaker in 15 minutes. I would HIGHLY recommend Bogen Electric. Highly professional, timely and he really investigated our electrical issue.

I called Ben due to the ratings in Angie's List. I had some minor work to be done. Ben came in and offered a couple of suggestions that would lessen the cost and time on the job and achieve the same results. His bid was excellent we set -up a time for the service, he arrived on time and performed the work quickly and cleaned up the work area when he was finished. Key points, Ben address the issues and did not attempt to up sell, offered a simpler solution to my issue, performed the work on time with no surprises. I highly recommend a tradesman that actually listens to you instead of telling you.

Bogen called me back within a few hours and they were able to set up an appointment quickly (day or 2 later). The electrician was great....professional, friendly, knew what he was doing, and completed the work in less than an hour. I would absolutely recommend Bogen and will use them again for any future electrical work needed.

I can't say enough good things about Ben Bogen. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've used Ben Bogen's company. I initially got a deal from Angie's List, they surpassed my expectations, and I've used them for every job since. They've installed new outlets in the basement and the house, dealt with fidgety switches, and installed a few non standard fixtures in the house. The prices are fair, the estimates accurate, and the work is done with a high level of skill.

I got a big deal for two hours worth of electrical service and they installed an outdoor motion detector light for me. They were responsive, arrived on time and the light has been perfect.

Everything went well. He was efficient, on time, and professional.

Ben was friendly and helpful. He responded promptly, worked around my awkward schedule and showed up exactly when he said he would. He was very respectful and asked before going through closets to point out outlets I didn't even realize were there. I was very happy with his work and will certainly be hiring him again when we start to remodel our laundry room and kitchen.

Ben came and gave a great quote, so we went with him he came and did part of the job one day and finished the next week, he even came out to my house when we had a partial power outage from the feed line on a stormy sunday, (i though that my well pump was shorting out the whole house) It was the power companys problem so he called them and got them to come in quick and fix it. Overall great work and good price will call him when I want my generator hooked up.

Two gentlemen (sorry, I can't recall their names) replaced several old two pronged electrical outlets with three pronged grounded type. They did the work promptly, neatly and were very courteous and professional. I would use them again.

overall went well, I supplied all needed equipment and hood. Installation took 5 hours, a lot longer than I expected. I was charged by hours.

Very professional work on upgrades and safety improvements on interior and exterior lighting, wiring, etc. We provided fixtures, so cost was mostly labor. Easy to work with.... confident in the quality of work.

I reached out to Ben and his team after receiving the final inspection report for my home. The closing date for my house was approaching quickly and I wanted to hire an electrician I have used before and trusted. I reached out to Ben asking if he would be interested in the job; I live in Boston and he is not around the corner. Ben reassured me that he was happy to help and I made an appointment for the following week. The job was done quickly and it was explained to me step by step as corrections were made. The price is reasonable and I will continue to recommend and use Bogen Electric.

We've used Ben on a few occasions and have been very happy with his service, responsiveness and professionalism. Most recently, he installed outlets and wiring for hanging our flat screen TV on the wall. We're planning to hire him again for a few more projects soon!

Ben is very professional and the work was done very well and as described. My only complaint is that it is difficult to get return phone calls. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

The work was done by Mynor and John. They were very professional and did the job with minimal visible damage to the ceiling and wall. There were a lot of obstacles to deal with in installing the electrical panel and Mynor was able to work through it with patience and a can do attitude. I would definitely hire them again.

He installed a number of lights in our old home. Overall, it went very well and they did a good job.

Bogen Electric is a top notch company. I liked the owner immediately. He needed access to the basement and insisted on removing his shoes before coming in through the kitchen. He looked at the damage , determined what materials he needed for the job and told me he would return the next day. (keep in mind it is a 3 hour round trip.) He brought an assistant with him when he returned to complete the job. They removed the old broken wires, replaced them and even cleaned out an old hornets nest. When they were finished, it looked better than it had prior to the storm.

Bill and his assistant worked tirelessly (10-hour days) to complete the job in a timely manner. They were very thorough. When we had a problem with one of our circuits, he arrived at our house within an hour after we called (on a Sunday). Outstanding service, very professional.

Bogen Elec. was a pleasure to work with. I had purchased an angieslist coupon for $99 for 2 hours of labor. I gave Ben a call and described the work I hoped to get done. He was friendly and upfront with his estimate and pricing. When he showed up to do work with his partner, they got right to it and worked fast and clean in tight closet spaces to wire and install 4 recessed lights in the closet ceilings---no the easiest job as we have custom built-in closets. No complaints at all. Great guy and he will be my first call for any further electric/lighting work!
