They came and installed several light fixtures, both inside and outside. Some fixtures remained as pull switches with the existing wires and the outside lights were put on wall switches. They also performed work at this same location one previous time. We will continue to use Bogan Electric for any future electrical projects.
Description of Work: I have used them twice at the same location and will continue to use them for any electrical needs I have. Their work is professional and they are a pleasure to deal with.

+ 0 moreBen and his team were excellent. They were professional from start to finish. Efficient, excellent communication, didn't leave a mess. We had a number of other electricians come in to bid on the work and discuss the problems. I was impressed by Ben - he was very straightforward and honest about the complexities and the pros and cons of the work we wanted to do in this complicated old house of ours. In fact, based on his advice, we opted not to change over one of the light fixtures at this time. We will absolutely use them again.
Description of Work: We live in an old (somewhat complicated) house and needed help with a number of things: including installation of new light fixtures, placement of a new outlet and installation of a new circuit in our newly renovated kitchen (as the wiring was done incorrectly by the team that did our renovation).

Description of Work: I am a buyer in the midst of purchasing a new home. The home inspector flagged a list of electrical issues and I needed fast, reliable advice. I also needed to be educated on the issued. Ben was unbelievable. He spoke to me for 20-30 minutes on the phone, educating me about the issues and providing me with options and the costs associated. I have never been more impressed with a service provider -- and he did so all with no guarantee that I would even use him for the work! I assured him at the end of the call that he is now my electrician, and I will never go to anyone else! That is true professionalism. I could not have been more impressed.

Description of Work: Ben was hired to provide all of the residential electrical work related to the renovation of our kitchen. Ben did a great job, so I also retained him to install an automatic temperature and precipitation control device for a new roof deicing system. I have been very satisfied with his work. I did not solicit multiple bids for the job to compare pricing but feel that his charges were reasonable given the amount of work performed.

+ -1 moreBen's electrician did a phenomenal job. He showed up on time with all of the needed material. The installation went smoothly. He used a special drill to cut the exact size holes with minimal mess. He ran a new line from the electrical panel to the living room. He used my smart switch for the new fixtures, which he already knew how to connect. He then went on to fix a baseboard outlet that had not worked since the house was built. He quickly found that the outlet wiring had not been hooked up in series from an adjacent outlet, and had it working within minutes. He cleaned up everything. The price for all of this work was very reasonable. We are extremely pleased with our new lighting. Ben is very responsive, and his electrician is friendly, courteous, highly skilled, and professional.
Description of Work: Installed four LED recessed ceiling lights and a key fixture for a future chandelier from scratch. Fixed a non-functioning outlet.

+ -1 moreThings went great. I called Ben on a Tuesday, and went over some of the things I wanted. He came out a few days later, and we went over my ideas. He offered some really good advice about pros and cons of different things, and what would fit into my future plans. We scheduled the work for the next week. Ben arrived promptly at the stated time we had agreed on, and reviewed what he was going to do. On a side note, he was very considerate of whether there were pets in the house so they didn't get outside accidentally. Once the work was done, he showed me what had been done, which was to my complete satisfaction. He was spotless. Everything was cleaned up nicely. I would recommend Bogen Electric to others, and plan on using them again.
Description of Work: Installed two 20 amp GFCI Circuits in basement and replaced and wired an outside outlet that was no longer working.

+ -1 moreBen and team did a great job. Ben came over on time to take a look at what needed to be done to supply an estimate. When he came in the front door of our home he immediately removed his shoes, not to track in dirt or scuff the hardwood floors. He was very detailed in answering all my questions regarding cost, safety and if in fact any damage might be done, do to adding the extra wiring to the rooms while walking through the house. He also gave great suggestions to help minimize cost. It took Ben and co-worker one full day to install all that was requested. As they worked through the day they cleaned up any debris as they went from room to room. They followed the esthetics of lining up all the outlets on the wall with existing outlets. When they left, all the rooms were clean and no damage was done to the walls. Very clean work. The installation went well and they did a fantastic job. We plan on using Ben on future home renovations and highly recommend them to others.
Description of Work: Added 2 outlets installed in master bedroom on either side of bed. Wired to existing switch location. Half of each outlet is to be used w/ switch. Existing switched outlet behind TV is to be wired to be live at all times. Added coax cable located behind TV location. Living room wired for a wall mounted TV over mantle. There is to be cables and components installed to the location. At this time, the location is in the jacket closet by front entry. The components are to include a repeater, HDMI cables (2 recommended). There will be an outlet installed in closet for components. This outlet is to be on same circuit as TV and a dedicated line from panel in garage. Cat 6 wire installed from TV to components and components to service for Verizon internet. Modem was relocated to component closet. Table saw can be wired for single phase, there will be a 30 amp circuit installed in garage. An SJO drop and 240 cord ends installed. A 20 amp circuit installed along garage wall for general use. There was 2 outlets, GFCi protected.

Because I was having other work done and bringing a ceiling fan and chandelier from where I live now, the work had to be done in two phases. Ben was very accommodating. All in all I'm very happy with the project results and would recommend and use again.
