i had signed up to a special on angies list for $179 and they came and said my driveway was bigger and had more cracks so i would have to pay and extra $107.50 so i said okay. i never met them , only talked on the phone and they did it when i was away. the driveway looks good except some of the cracks are starting to open up and i do not know if that is right but my driveway looks nice and i am happy

It went alright. It was better than average, but wasn’t excellent. I had a difficult time scheduling the service, and the actual price I paid was more than what I paid for the Big Deal. There was one worker and one supervisor and it took them around 2-3 hours. They were punctual and professional. However, I did had a lot of cracks in my driveway that I thought would be filled more.

I would have liked a little more communication up front but other than that they provide outstanding service. I purchased the big deal in May and a few days later they came out to quote the additional work I had requested. The visit and the quote were prompt and the quote was within what I was expecting to pay. I agreed to the quote and then began the long silence until early July when they contacted me to say they would be out the 3rd week of July to do the work. I was beginning to think they skipped town. However when the day came they arrived right on time and went right to work. They blew off the driveway, being very careful of the surrounding lawn and gardens, the filled the cracks (there were quite a few - some pretty wide and deep), then they coated the driveway in an even layer of sealer. They cleaned up after themselves and even did a nice job marking the end of the driveway to keep cars off of it. All told they came and went in an hour and a half. They were polite, they were easy to talk to, they wasted no time in getting the job done and they did a great job - the driveway looks brand new. I'm sure the delay was probably due to an overwhelming response to their Big Deal offer but a brief e-mail explaining that would have helpful for me. Still - I would both use them again and recommend their work to others.

Very nice and professional people. On the first day scheduled, the workers arrived but then drove away. I thought that they were coming back until I received a call saying that they were here but noone was home. Both my downstairs neighbor and I were both home. They just didn't ring the doorbell, and instead knocked on the outside door. To be fair, to ring the doorbell, they would have to have walked through the front door (which one could see through the door led you to a hallway with 2 doors). However, even not knowing that, if they knocked and didn't get a response, they should have called. Noone provided them with a phone number. All were apologetic. The work was done and definitely looks better. However, when I emailed to inquire as to why the cracks weren't all completely filled, I was told that they did the best they could but that I really needed to have the driveway dug up and replaced, but that what they did, bought me a couple of additional years. My real issue is that when they originally came to look at the driveway, I was not told that the driveway really needed to be replaced. Had I known that, I might have opted to have that done vs. taking an interim step to have the cracks filled and driveway sealed. Overall, it was still a positive experience. I would recommend them but suggest to other prospective customers to ask questions to determine if the sealing and crack-filling would be sufficient. I would also encourage other customers to make sure that the service providers have the cusomers' phone numbers with them.

I purchased a coupon through Angie's List. I was contacted the same day by James (owner). He told me that he would be out to look at the driveway to see if it met the stipulations on the coupon. Within 2 days he came out and told me that the coupon would apply for the driveway and he would put me on the schedule. 2 1/2 weeks later I got an email from New Mark Pavement informing me that they would be out the next day to do the work. I came home from work and the driveway looked brand new!! I had some questions about when I could drive on it, so I called James and left a message. He called back within 10 minutes and answered my questions. Throughout this whole process, what stood out to me was the responsiveness of New Mark Pavement. It was a pleasure working with James and I would definitely recommend New Mark Pavement Marking for any driveway needs.

Everything went well there was some delay due to weather but they kept me in the loop the entire time. After sealing and filling the cracks there was some additional filling that need and they were very responsive and out the next day. I would definately use them again.

James, the owner of New Mark Paving, was tremendously responsive and professional. We took advantage of the special price (via Angie's List) they were offering for a simple sealcoat for our driveway. James contacted us immediately and within days our driveway was painted and sealed. I wasn't around to greet the crew, but they gently removed/replaced items that we (mistakenly) left on the driveway. They did a great job and we've received compliments and inquiries from our neighbors.

No bad blood here. It was just a bit of a communication issue. Turned out my driveway needed to be repaved not sealed. And as it turns out, they don't have the equipment to do repaving. He was kind enough to suggest a refund, so I'm completely satisfied with our interaction. Thanks.

I called to set up an appointment, but my experience when i called was horrible. I spoke Gilbert, and he was rude. I did not end up using the deal

Workers damaged a 30ft strip of grass by leaving material on grass in hot, direct sun. Also not initially pleased with how cracks filled as there was a small depression after 1 week. James called me back right away after emailing him my concerns. He apologized for the grass damage and offered to re-seed. By the time I contacted him, the grass was recovering after intensive twice daily watering so declined. He did send a crew out right away to re-do the cracks. Satisfied with the responsiveness and and politeness with addressing my concerns. This should not be perceived as a negative and I would use them again.

After some missed communications, the crew from New Mark Pavement sealed my driveway today, 6/30/14. They did an excellent job, and I would definitely use them again.

Very professional....only took them about 45 minutes to complete. I will send in another comment after we have had it for a couple of months. looks good.

They came, did the job and they were excellent. We're very pleased. They're very good. They kept me posted when they were coming and they came when they said they would. I would highly recommend them. The price was fair.

He was so nice and I was very impressed. I just purchased it at 8:30 am and he was out the same day by 10am. Unfortunately my driveway would need more work than the deal and involved a special sealant. I requested a refund for this particular deal, however, I will contact this contractor about having the work done at a latter date.

With the extra square footage on my driveway (the driveway is 1702 sq. ft. total), my total estimate came to $444.50 ($179 for the initial 800 sq. ft. and $265.50 for the remaining 902 sq. ft.). I found a local company to seal the driveway by hand for $265 so I decided to go with them. James at New Mark Pavement was easy to work with and responsive to all of my questions.

The service turned out fine. The scheduling was fine as they worked with our schedule as we had some landscaping we wanted done first.

After a few weather related delays, job was done quickly, neatly, and very satisfactorily.
