Short version: Came home to my driveway resealed and "Do Not Cross" yellow tape in front of the driveway via two wooden stakes well secured into the ground. Very little overspray into the grassy area's surrounding my driveway too! Longer version: Noticed a resealing deal from this company on Angie's List, did some research about the company via this website and arranged for them to come by and see if my driveway fell into their parameters for the quoted price - it was just a tad bit longer and cost me a little more, but it was extremely reasonable. During the process, the folks at New Mark kept me informed of the current status via regular messages on Angie's List. No fault of the company, but I was never notified via an alert to my personal email account about some of the messages. I was forced to reschedule this appointment for the actual resealing of my driveway and New Mark was courteous and responsive in accommodating my needs. Overall a truly no-hassle experience and look forward to having them come back in a few years.

They came on time, they filled the large cracks, they sprayed the seal coat material and they made sure to put caution tape with stakes to prevent anyone from driving on it.

The deal for New Mark Pavement Marking, Inc of Stoughton MA to apply a crack filler and spread the asphalt sealant was listed about two weeks ahead of the season for doing this work. The deal was for 800 sq. ft of driveway area without mention of additional cost per sq. foot. However, as it turned out, the cost for the additional sq. feet of coverage was the same as the cost per sq. foot of the original deal (800/ $179) ~ $4.50 per sq. foot. It would have been better to know this price per sq. foot additional up front in the deal. I checked the measurement of the driveway area and found it to be within 50 sq ft of the area New Mark measured. Scheduling a day to do the work was complicated on my end by the fact that I had filled a couple holes in my driveway with an asphalt patch, which required 30 days to cure before having the driveway sealant applied. This was beside the fact that the season for applying the sealant had not begun. Overall, I was pleased with the flexibility and process for scheduling the work with New Mark Pavement. Two workers cleaned the driveway of sand and debris, applied the crack sealer to the few cracks in my driveway and around the holes I patched. Then they applied the asphalt sealant carefully around the edges of the driveway initially, brushing the sealant to the edges without getting it in the grass before spreading the sealant to the rest of the asphalt area. The work was very professionally done.

New Mark Pavement responded quickly to our Angie's list inquiry, scheduled a date within 48 hours of contact, and arrived on time and did a great job. I would be happy to send them more business in the future. Thank you, New Mark.

Very satisfied. The sole "B" rating, for "punctuality" (really should be an "A-/B+"), was because NewMark's crew showed up a little late - apparently due to some confusion on access, compliments of utility work nearby - but got right down to business. It was a windy day so prepping the driveway was no easy task. They stuck to it and go it cleared of debris, etc. quickly and effectively. You could tell that the two workman had "done this before" as there actions were almost choreography smooth and efficient. The application of the seal-coat material took about two hours, start-to-finish. My driveway was almost three times the base size in the spec. stated in the advertised Angie's List deal so I paid the per square foot "extra" at the advertised rate. In the end, I definitely feel I got value for my money out of this deal. And, the driveway looks pretty great. James, the estimator/contact principal, and his guys (great work ethic) are noteworthy examples of better business practices. All-in-all, I have no negatives to report about NewMark Paving services. I bought a Big Deal for seal coating, and James came to measure our driveway within a few days. Afterward he told me the driveway was in bad enough shape that sealcoating probably wouldn't do anything to protect it and he didn't want us to waste our money. It's not like he was trying to sell me a more expensive paving job -- he doesn't do asphalt paving. So I really appreciated his honest, candid feedback -- anytime a pro essentially already has your money and turns it down because their services aren't the right fit for what you need, you know they're a keeper.

I purchased a 179.00 deal and agreed to 70.00 extra to fill some extra cracks and to cover slightly extra square footage. It went very smoothly from first contact through the end of job. The workers were very pleasant, professional and courteous. The two workers were also very conscientious to avoid blowing sand at two new plants I just planted at edge of driveway that I told them I was concerned about as they were already suffering from drought. The job performance in terms of neatness and thoroughness appeared pretty good to me. And I am a bit picky. It's been only a week since application. We'll see how the product holds up over time. I felt it was overall it was a very good deal and would definitely recommend this service at this price.

On time and good price - looks great no mess

James contacted me soon after purchasing a big deal for driveway sealing. He told me when they would begin sealing driveways for the season and let me know they would be out to measure. They measured my driveway while I was at work and contacted me to let me know I was all set and gave me a date for the work. Unfortunately, it rained the day they scheduled me but contacted me the night before to let me know it would need rescheduling. I week later they came out and sealed the driveway in about an hour. It looks great at a good cost with absolutely no hassle. I would definitely recommend them and will use New Mark Pavement in the future.

They arrived late in the day (approx. 5 p.m.) They did a thorough job, swept and cleaned area, taped off all edges, application was neat and clean, filled in cracks, then took their time to do a careful application. They were very respectful and pleasant to work with. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to friends, family and neighbors. Thanks for a great experience and a fair price.

We were scheduled to have the driveway sealed on Monday 5/18/15 but there was an unexpected delay and New Mark could not do the sealing on the scheduled day. Because of this James the owner gave us a discount. It was going to rain next day so The New Mark crew arrived in the morning on Wednesday 5/20/15. The swept, filled in the cracks and sealed our driveway. It was a windy day and asphalt sprayed onto the wood shakes and garage door moldings. We spoke with James from New Mark he asked for the paint brand and colors.Within 24 hrs James painted the spots that had been hit with asphalt. He also gave us the two gallons of paint. The driveway looks fantastic. We really appreciate the great service James and his New Mark crew provided.

The work was done on the day & time assigned. While I was not home when the work was done, upon my arrival I could clearly see that they'd done a professional quality job! I was, once again, impressed and very pleased with the outcome. I will most definitely have them seal-coat my driveway again next year!

Excellent. Very Professional. Thoroughly cleaned driveway, filled cracks and sealed with a heavy duty rubberized coal tar emulsion.

They keep telling me that they are going to come out and pave my driveway and they keep putting me off. Its been almost a month since I bought the Big Deal. I will never use this company again.

The company said they came out and gave an estimate of $574 instead of the amount on the offer. I replied asking if part of the driveway can be done since I am currently unable to afford the estimated price. I heard back from them with a discount of $375. Which I will take advantage of.

He told me what he was going to and the finish product was good. I was pleased with the price. He came when he said he would.

The price for sealing the driveway was a special on Angie's List and the price was reasonable at $220. We the crew arrived, I mentioned that there were some oil spots on the driveway that needed to be sealed. The charge for that was $35, which seemed on the high side. Especially since the "sealing" took less than 5 minutes because the spots were small. I guess I should have taken care of the spots before the crew arrived. Aside from the issue with the spots, I think they did a good job. They trimmed the grass around the edges and then blew the driveway clean with a blower. The coating process went quickly. I think the entire process took less than 45 minutes. I would recommend them to my friends, but I would tell my friends to clean up any oil spots first.

Job appeared to be well done. The driveway seems to have held up through the harsh winter without any issues. No complaints.

Overall very well. No real dislikes, very fast. Positive. Overall just nice.
