Had a hard time getting in touch with them- did eventually hear and they went over to do the work and were in an out quickly and did a nice job- got a lot done in the 3 hours. Very happy with the work- only hope would be to have better/quicker communication from the start. Overall very glad I found them!

Great. We are completely satisfied with the quality of work. JR's Landscaping was very prompt in sending someone out to provide a quote. They were very friendly as well as thorough in providing a quote and took the time to answer all of my questions. I also very much appreciated the fact that they didn't try to oversell me. I was asking about some lawn care services that they said I didn't need at the time. In addition, I really appreciated their willingness to accommodate changes to my work order and adjusted the price in a fair manner. Finally, I thought the response time to my emails was fantastic. I noticed that I would even receive emails very late at night or after midnight. I was impressed by that level of dedication to provide strong customer service.

We did get off to a so so start due to some miscommunication. However all got resolved and my yard looks like "WOW". Very hard workers and paid attention to detail. I would explain how I wanted something and they were great about doing exactly what I wanted. I hope to use them again. They also gave me the Angie's List discount. Thanks so much.

It was ok. I won't use them again. The sales guy was nice and gave me high hope. He quoted 1200.00/day for three laborers and 250.00 for the rock. They cleaned the flower beds well and trimmed the bushes. They were told to not clean or lay rock in a specific flower bed and did, burying a lot of perennials. The rock and the beds looked good after they were done. They were supposed to clean all the detritus off the lawn which including scratching up the dead grass that has collected over the winter. They used gas leaf blowers on the grass which removed the top layer of leaves but what was supposed to be scratched off was not. They completely skipped it. Two guys worked for 8 hours, 08:30 to 16:30 with a lunch break. There was a foreman that walked around talking to my wife for an hour. He also went to get the rock. He did not help the laborers at all. I brought this up to the sales guy, Matt, and he said that the foreman worked. I did not want to argue even though at 50/hour I would have rather paid 800 for just two guys. In the end he gave me 200.00 off my bill and it was 1250 instead of 1450. Overall, very shoddy.

I hired them to do my bi-weekly mowing and they did a great job. I can't complain we have a perfectly mowed lawn and I am extremely happy with them thus far. I have had to communicate with them many times and find that they respond much better to e-mails than to calls but no matter how you contact they get back to you. I love them and think i have my new lawn care place.

This landscaper did come out to go over my concerns with the Bermuda grass and also for suggestions on planting new bushes. He was very helpful and explained that removing the Bermuda grass would be best done in the fall. It will require pulling up the existing lawn and reseeding. When I asked him about putting in an irrigation system, he did not think it was necessary which I agree with him. He had good ideas and will contact him in the fall for an estimate of the work.

We signed up for a deal, 2 to 3 hrs of yard cleanup and lawn dethatching.. They were great communicating with us about scheduling and the areas we wanted them to pay particular attention. They showed up within a week of purchasing the deal, which was appreciated because this time of year it is difficult finding landscapers and actually getting them to show up. The yard looks great and the lawn really benefitted from the dethatching. We've had our other lawn service aerate the lawn before but this was the first time we had it dethatched, something we will do every season. It sure beats hand raking!

From the first contact with Matt the owner it has been a wonderful experience! I left home on a Saturday morning, although I had scheduled the work with Matt I did not know the crew was coming today. I was pleasantly surprised when I got home and the crew was just finishing the job. It looks fantastic! The crew of 3 were polite and professional men that answered the few questions I had and gave me a little advise on my lawn. I would recommend JRs to anyone who is looking for a great job at a reasonable price. Great work Matt!

They honored the Spring clean-up coupon I purchased and put it towards my fall cleanup. They removed all leaves, trimmed some bushes, and pruned some trees

My husband liked them well enough from the Angie's deal to have them back to help with the fall clean up. Responsiveness and professionalism were great. Pricing we're assuming is good/comparable, we don't have a standard to measure by.

I was happy with the speed of the service and the options he presented. Also, the price was right. I also had him do some additional work.

They did well. He was very good. Quality was good.

They did a really nice job. They were very fast and very courteous. The price was reasonable. I would tell others that they are prompt. They did anything I asked them to do. They did more than I asked.

Came and trimmed but did not trim enough. Came back a week later to trim more. Was satisfied after the second trip.

Looked at lawn and provided a quote for seeding, aeration, and other services. This should have been a free estimate, rather than a paid evaluation, though. I expected that he might have taken soil samples for the price paid.

As always, JR's Landscaping did a superb job. When I asked for their help landscaping our backyard, Matt came out quickly to go over the plan with me. He went to the Nursery to meet with the owner about the plants I wanted to purchase and on the day of installation, his crew picked up everything and in two days, planted, made new beds, weeded, edged and worked amazingly to get everything done. They did such a phenomenal job and the price was so reasonable that I had them come back a few days later to mulch the beds they had created so beautifully. The three men who did the work were courteous and professional and Matt is always punctual with his responses and listens to what you want and will work hard to get what you ask for to make sure you are 100% satisfied. A pleasure to work with always and look forward to working with them again.

One person comes and it takes about half an hour. They always arrive on time. They do an excellent job. We are very pleased with their work. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Everything went very well. Matt was responsive, professional and his crew did everything they were supposed to do, when they were supposed to do it. Matt pointed out some deficiencies in our lawn, specifically the quality of the soil, so we need to do more work next Spring, however, our lawn looks much better.

We initially were going to hire another landscape contractor that was going to seed our yard in the spring and Matt took the time to let me know what the disadvantages of seeding in the spring were. He also wanted feedback about his pricing all correspondences were professional. After emailing back and forth my partner and I decided JR's was a much better fit for us so we hired them. Our list was long as to what we needed and it was all done in a timely and professional manner. Everything was done to our complete satisfaction but we were especially happy with our patio around the fish pond. We used pavers that came in three different sizes/shapes and the area had many angles and corners and Al (JR's mason)and his guys did a wonderful job. Al asked us if we had a pattern in mind and we left it up to him and are we glad we did! Not only was it beautiful but it was pitched perfectly so no water will pool. We were quite impressed. We were also pleased that each price Matt quoted was exactly what he charged us. We can't say enough about JR's Landscaping and are looking forward to a continuing business relationship with them in the future.
