Great crew arrived and thoroughly cleaned the gutters. The crew foreman talked with me about my gutter drainage issues and had several suggestions. After they evaluated the situation he gave me additional insight into the issues we were having and recommendations. estimate will be forthcoming.

Provider cleaned our gutters and downspouts. They set up an appointment, but were available a day early, so they came out and did the work. Unfortunately, because I didn't know they were coming, I didn't have time to disconnect an underground drain so that I could ensure the gutter was cleaned properly and didn't clog the drain system. That gutter, along with another one in the back of the house did not appear to have been cleaned. I spoke with Anne, who was very responsive and she sent out the providers the next day, but the gutters were frozen, so the work couldn't be done. We had a long stretch of cold/frozen weather, so the providers came by multiple times to attempt to do the remaining two gutters. After 2-3 weeks, the thaw finally allowed it to be completed. They also recommended replacement of one of the gutters and left me a quote. I would definitely use them again. Even though they missed the two gutters originally, they were incredibly responsive to fixing the problem and made multiple attempts to make it right. Price was also reasonable.

I made 4 phone calls before I was able to speak with a person. I used JLM back in 2013 to clean my gutters so I figured it would be easier to stay with them. I was wrong. When I finally was able to reach Ann I scheduled the appointment for the next week, which was 3/16, at 10am. She said her boss would be coming out. She told me they work part time , which was why it was so difficult to reach them. On the day of the appointment, 10 am came and went so I called and got their voicemail. I left a message asking if Luis was coming. I called again later that day and left another message. On Friday morning Ann sent this email: Hi Steve, My apologizes as I was out the past couple days for health issues. My apologizes that you waited on my boss as I do not recall providing a time frame as I did not one readily available at the time as my system maps out the schedule for me at the end of the day. I have attached a revised estimate we provided back in 2013/2014 for your review. Thank you. ann :) I emailed back and told Ann that the work I wanted now had nothing to do with the quote they gave me back in 2013. I read other F reviews they received and noticed that the response to them by JLM was either to blame the consumer for the mixup or to say they did not set an appointment, as Ann said to me in this follow up email: Steve, I do not recall providing you with a specific time frame as I myself did not have one at the moment to provide you with. Ann I responded to Ann's email and informed her that she was on speaker phone when we set the appointment and my wife was here, and she put the date and time in our calendar. I also asked Ann, via email on that Friday exchange, about their requirement for a 50% deposit before they come out to do any work. She that is their policy. I asked who in their right mind would give them money up front, especially to a company that doesn't show up and is so difficult to reach? Again, read past reviews and you see that pattern here. They want money up front even before they set an appointment, with the high likelihood that they no show you and then blame weather or your mis-understanding of the date and time. I informed her I would not do business with them. Let's see if her response is to blame me, as she has done in previous reviews.

They gave me an estimate based on the square footage of the house which saved two trips to the house. They came when I was at work and I came home to find the gutters and clean and the no mess in the yard.

JLM cleaned my gutters in early February after first requested on 12/1/2015. While they were here, and before they came, I asked them to repair a small piece of the gutter and was told that they would send me an estimate for the work later. I received an estimate of $125. I was told that I need to send in 50% of the estimate before the work is scheduled. When I inquired about when it would be scheduled, they stated that they could not tell me as they only work part time and they have several people waiting to get their gutters done. They said that they would keep me posted regularly (if I wanted) to let me know when they might be available to come out to repair the gutter. This seem like a very poor practice. I am to send in 50% of the cost and then HOPE and trust that they find time to do the work which could be anytime (like next year) as the could not even give me a time frame. Now I need to search again for someone to repair the gutter.

I first contacted them on 12/1/2015 via messaging to set up an appointment to clean and repair my gutters. The stated that they were very busy until the week of January 8, 2016. I agreed. They never showed up that week. They sent message that they were very busy and would come the following week.. They then sent message that they would be out on 1/19/2016. I asked if that could come on the 20th or later as I could not do the 19th. They never responded. I need my gutters repaired as there is water leaking through them. I've lost almost 2 months time waiting on them,

JLM Gutter Cleaning Service did an amazing job cleaning the gutters of my colonial home in Weymouth! They were punctual, cleaned up after themselves and their customer service was great. The price was a little more than I'd like to pay, but it's better than buying a $300 ladder, then trying to find the time to actually do it myself. I'll definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them to anyone needing their service.

They cleaning the gutters well, but I expected the gutters and downspouts to be flushed with water, as other providers had done in the past.

Scheduling via e-mail was easy. They were very responsive and we quickly agreed on a date. We also agreed via e-mail that the price would be $125, including a $10 Angie's List discount. They arrived a little early on the agreed upon date. I looked outside and saw the truck in my driveway. About ten minutes later I went to the front door to try to talk to the person in charge. By that time, however, they were already gone. I was not at all pleased that they failed to report to me whether the downspouts were clear, as has usually happened in the past. That is the reason for the N/A rating of their quality. I really don't know how good a job they did. I find it a little hard to believe that they completed the job in less than ten minutes and if they did that the $125 bill was justified. They also left a bill for $135.

Did not show up for scheduled appointment because the crew couldn't find my house I was told. I then gave detailed directions and rescheduled, only for them to not show up yet again. Both times I had taken time off from work so I could meet the crew. After the second no-show, I ended up cancelling the service. It was a massive waste of time on my end, not to mention the numerous calls I made to confirm and make sure they will show up. The least they could've done is call me if they had trouble finding my house, especially when I specifically suggested they do that after the first time, in addition to leaving directions. To their credit, the person on the phone apologized for the inconvenience and still offered to perform service on a later date. But I certainly didn't want to take yet another chance after two bad experiences in a row. It's unfortunate I had the bad experience considering all the good reviews here which is why I picked them for service in the first place.

my gutters have screens on them, are all clogged up after only 2 months

It went good. They were prompt and came when they were supposed to. I found them on Angie's List and have been using them every since.

I was very impressed. I contacted them on Monday, and they did the work the next day, as I requested. They showed up around 8 am and worked quickly and effectively, with good clean-up.

These guys were great! Easy to schedule, called the day before to confirm with a window of time they'd be by, invoice matched the quote, etc. This seems like basic good service, but I've had a tough time finding a company who I didn't have to hound to come out or didn't try to charge me more than their original quote.

Very promot in providing me a quote. I was put on their schedule 2 days later. These guys mean business. 4 men, ladders, leaf blowers, 10 minutes --- clean gutters!

This was the third time that JLM came over. The first was for gutter cleaning ($120), the second to install a section of gutter on a side proch. I find that it is hard to try to contact JLM by phone but by email it works just fine. Anne, Luis' assistant, is helpful, friendly and efficient. Luis is honest, cordial, prompt and gets the work done as promised. I am pleased with JLM and hope to continue being my go-to outfit for anything gutters.

I was happy with them. They were on time and they were courteous. I asked for an estimate for gutter repair and they mailed it out to me.

When we've used them to repair damaged gutters they have been prompt to schedule the work. For the gutters by our front porch they suggested moving the drain pipe to less obtrusive spot. This improved the appearance of the gutters. When I've asked questions about additional gutters or recommended frequency for cleaning they have been less responsive. For the regular cleaning plan they come unannounced and leave an invoice. Since we have pine trees near our house we requested the 4x/year cleaning but they seem to have us down for 2x/year. If they provided additional information such as current state of the gutter or more details about work performed, I would have given them a higher rating.

They were great. They said when they were coming and it did not take long. Everything was cleaned out there was no dirt and everything was taken care of. I was not home when they came to do the work.

When the snow finally melted enough for us to see the back of the house we realized what happened and I sent an email to JLM as I use them to do my gutter cleaning and they do a great job. They came out an I was sent an estimate and was told if I wanted them to do the job to send in 1/2 of the money with my signed contract. So I sent it in with a check but didn't hear anything for a few weeks. I was worried that my check didn't get to them as it was never cashed. I sent a few emails and my husband called and left a voicemail. It turns out the between being very busy and the person in charge of scheduling being out sick they had not gotten around to the mail yet. Very happy that my check was there and that all was well. I was then scheduled for the following week. The crew showed up bright and early and did an excellent job of putting everything back together. I only wish that they did more than gutter cleaning they do such good work and I could use them for more jobs around the house.
