VERY HIGH PRICE.
Description of Work: Called provider to get an estimate for adding a gutter and cleaning our gutters. Company called back and gave an estimate that was VERY significantly HIGHER than the company on the North Shore that I have used for years. I called to question the price and they said it was based upon the size of the house although I donot believe they came out to look at the house. Again there price was VERY HIGH!!!!

Our pricing is based simply upon the size of the house to be cleaned. As aside, contrary to their marketing, experts tend to agree that gutter guards don't provide foolproof protection against all the debris that can litter and clog gutters. They don't make your gutters invincible or magically resistant the debris. We regularly service homes with guard systems, and in order to clean them properly, need to remove and replace the system at a cost to the homeowner. But, thank you for considering JLM; we’re sorry we couldn’t do business with you.

Description of Work: I used J.L.M. Gutter. They were to come out and clean the gutters then contact me with any extra work that had to be done. The gutters were flushed although I never saw the person just saw the truck drive away. I called the office over a week later to ask about any other work that had to be done; was told I would be called back the next day and have never heard from them again. I have two drainpipes lying in the yard and at least one gutter I don't think is draining properly so I find it hard to believe there are no problems. Neither my husband or I are capable of climbing on the roof.

Very well, I would recomend.
Description of Work: Gutter cleaning. They were very responsive and returned calls quickly. Came out the day they said they would. They would have gotten an "A", instead of a "B" but they left a good amount of waste in my yard from the cleaning. I'll use them again, just making sure to request that they clean the waste on my lawn. From their professional approach that I saw when dealing with them, I'm certain that this would be taken care of.

Description of Work: It was really difficult to speak to anybody in person, and eventually I left a message. Ann called me back a few hours later and I gave her my information and then she left me message with a quote for $95 and date that they could perform the cleaning. When I called back I got the voicemail again and I left message that I would like to take the date and rate proposed and that if there were any questions to call me. I never got a call and the date has since passed with no work being performed. From everything I read on Angie's List they are better than this, but I found the office difficult to deal with.

A call was placed to the customer on the 23rd of November to obtain customer information. The customer was informed that a follow up call would be placed the following day with the cost of service. A message was left on the 24th with the cost and a potential date of 12/7/09 in which the service could be performed. After review of our phone logs, it appears we never received a call back with regard to the scheduling in question so we never confirmed the service for that day and time. It appears there may have been some miscommunication with the actual confirmation of the scheduling of this particular service. Additionally, due to the weather conditions this week, we were forced to reschedule our confirmed appointments
