JLM Gutter Cleaning Service

It went well. I was hoping for gutter screens, but my house is surrounded by pine needles and they would get inside any gutter screen. I suppose they have a point. To pay $200 a year to clean your gutters twice a year is not too bad.

He recommended against gutter covers, saving me $250. They would be useless given the pine trees surrounding the house. It is always nice when a business is honest enough to recommend options in which they make less money.

They came the same day I called them. They were able to quote it online. They did the work very quickly. They got in and out and they were very professional.

I called them. They were able to look up my home on Google maps to give me a quote. It was less expensive than the 2 other places I called that came by to give me quotes. I set up the appointment (which was within a few days of the quote), did not have to be there to receive service, and they left me an invoice. I called them with my credit card number to pay. they were very friendly, prompt to respond, and easy to use.

When I first called to schedule the cleaning, I was informed that they were very busy and would not be able to make it for a while. The meeting was then delayed due to weather. When they did come for the cleaning in January, I was very disappointed. I had requested a call from someone so I would know when they were coming, but I never got one. They did the work very quickly, only taking about 20 minutes to do the entire job. Part of the services included in the cost was a flushing of the gutters. It was cold out and, for one reason or another, they chose not flush the gutters. I would have expected a reduction in the rate or a comparable service to be done in its place, but did not get anything. The clean up was not very good and they did leave a mess. I was not satisfied so I wrote a letter to the company expressing my concerns. I never got a response back from JLM. I will not be using them again in the future.

Process went smoothly starting with initial response, quote and installation process. I was extremely satisfied and now use JLM on an annual contract basis to clean my gutter in the fall and spring at approx. $135 per service.

JLM did a great job. They provided an estimate quickly, and then worked to a tight timescale to fit in with other work I was having done (they came the day after I decided to get the work done with them). They replaced the guttering on my porch and a section of a downspout that was cracked and blocked. They were courteous and professional, and finished the job in less than an hour. The guttering they installed looks great (much better than before, especially on the porch) and is functioning as necessary.

It was great! I didn't even have to be at the house. I just made sure there was outside water available and came home to nice and clean gutters.

They removed all debris taken from the gutters. The only thing they did not run a hose to check to see if the gutters were completely cleaned. They seem to be alright though.

They are very good. The contract price is somewhere between $85-$95.

Everyone at the company is very professional. I continue to use them since I am very satisfied with their service. Highly recommend.

I would have used this company again anyway, but it was nice to see and use their Angie's List coupon. They were very prompt and came out bright and early. I plan on using them again in the future on an annual basis.

I was pleased with the service and I would recommend them to other people. The price was reasonable and they arrived on time. They did not leave a big mess behind either. They did a good job.

I gave an accurate estimate of the length of the gutters, got a quote based on that ($95). Then they tried to charge me $125. When I pushed back, they said "OK, but next time it'll be $125." I wouldn't have minded so much if it weren't for the fact that some of the gutters had clearly not been touched. They sent some around within a day or two, to fix it. Each time I called, Nancy was very personable and accommodating, and seemed eager to please the customer. But it was a hassle to have to call back several times. And the end result was still not all that satisfactory. I guess these companies don't consider the downspout to be part of the deal, but as I customer, when I say "clean my gutters" what I really mean is "make it so that the rain flows off the roof and out through the downspout". In the end, there's still some blockage in one of my downspouts. I'll try someone else next time, and hope they do a more complete job without my having call back several times.

I was happy with the work this company did for me and I would use them again. I kept their information handy for when I need gutter cleaning done again. It's one of those things I have kind of neglected and put off for a while, so I would imagine it was probably a mess up there. These guys cleaned everything up though and they were fairly inexpensive I think too, so I feel like I could put a good word in for them.

I was not pleased with these guys. They spilled oil on my roof and did not clean it up. They were very careless. They provided a terrible service. They never came back to clean up the stains. I was completely dissatisfied with them.

They do a good job when it comes to just cleaning the gutters. We had a situation where we needed extensions on the bottom of the gutters that directs the water form the house. They didn't have the skill level to do that, so my husband told them they couldn't work for us on the installation. It was not up to standard. They are reasonably priced for the gutter cleaning but we would not use them for gutter installation, just gutter cleanings.

Their people were pleasant. They came promptly when I needed them and we were very pleased with them. The quality of the work was great and everything else was too. I would recommend them to others in the nearby area.

A shaky start but then all went well. Scheduled JLM crew to come out but they cleaned the wrong house! I contacted them when I noticed the work had not been done and discovered this. I gave them more accurate directions to my house and they were able to find it and do the work. Once the work was done, they did a good job and we are happy with the results.

It was a little difficult getting through to them by phone -- they have voicemail with too many choices. I ultimately sent an email through the website and was called within a few days. They came the next week. They were on time and did a good job. I will definitely use them again.

They came out quickly to give an estimate and stuck to the estimate. They were prompt and seem to have done a good job. They were friendly and helpful.

They were very informative and let me know how to make my gutters last longer. This was the first time that I used this company so they did give me a pretty good price on the work that they did. They only charged me $5 per liner foot and I felt that was reasonable.

CAME ON TIME AND SAID THAT GUTTERS LOOKED FINE. SAID THAT ALL THEY NEEDED WAS CLEANED. WE MADE AN APPOINTMENT THAT DAY. THEY CAME BACK AS SAID, CLEANED GUTTERS AND DID A GOOD JOB .

We had to reschedule once due to weather, but they came on the agreed upon day and did the work very quickly.

They came on time. They were very quick and polite and neat. The price they charged fell within the estimate.
