JLM Gutter Cleaning Service

They were on time and cleaned the gutters in no time. Very professional and their prices were very reasonable. I plan on using them in the spring and fall next year--we have a lot of trees around our house.

JLM was great! They were quick to respond via email and very professional to deal with. Their pricing was excellent. They managed to get me an appointment on a Saturday with short notice. Highly recommended.

They arrived on the day promised, put ladders up to the roof and walked up with gas power leaf blowers and blew the gutters and downspouts clear. It was a little noisy but all done in about 45 minutes. No visible damage to roof or gutters or downspouts. The contents of the gutters and downspouts were mine to address.

It was super-easy. I purchased through a "Big Deal". Ann from JLM contacted me the day after I purchased, ready to come do the work. I told her I wanted to wait a couple of weeks (until a few more "helicopters" had fallen from our trees). I sent her an email a few weeks later, they came out a couple of days after that. They did the work while I was at work, but I can see in the gutters from upstairs windows - they were super-clean, and the dryer vent was clean. Great experience, and I have used them twice more since then...price was more like $200 without the Big Deal.

I used an Angie's $99 special, and scheduling went smoothly and professionally. A slight irritation was learning by phone that cleaning the gutters of the attached sleeping porch might cost extra. (I have a standard 2-family; they ALL have enclosed porches on one side.) )JLM relented and agreed to $99. The team arrived promply, but said they couldn't clean the gutter on one side, because of low-hanging tree branches. (Previous gutter guys had simply gone up a ladder for this part, but JLM felt that if they couldn't do it with their blower while standing on the roof.) Naturally this was the side that really needed clearing.

JLM is fast, reliable, they get up on the roof (my daughter and i were home and heard/saw them) and really get the debris out. My only "complaint" is that they left a fair amount of said debris on our lawn in 2012, though not a speck in 2011. Maybe a bad day. I will be calling them again in the spring!

They are terrible. They chased me and gave me all sorts of excuses. They came out unannounced to do the work but they didn’t have the oil they needed to lay in the gutter and I offered to run and go get some. They said no and they would just come back at another time. I tried and tried to get them to come back and they would not ever get back with me, just send me bills. After a while they finally did come back when I wasn’t home and left a bill for me saying they did it. They problem was that you cannot access the gutter because I had my awning down. What they ended up doing was just pouring the oil on the sides and brushed it around. They could not reach the whole gutter. I tried to call them multiple times and they just kept sending me bills even though they didn’t actually do the work correctly.

JLM was friendly on the phone when we scheduled the cleaning. After that I never heard from them. I assumed the gutters were cleaned but I never heard from them; I didn't get a invoice, letter, or other notice that they had been at my home.

They came when they said, they cleaned the gutters, I did not need to be home (I had prepaid through an Angie's special) and it was great!

Overall, I am incredibly pleased with their work. The gutters are flowing again and they were prompt and efficient about the work. They showed up while I was out, took care of it, and left me an invoice. Very straightforward. The next day it rained, we checked the gutters and everything was flowing once again.

Besides being about 20min late, I have nothing but good things to say about JLM. They did the job well and quickly and the amount charged was the exact estimate I was given on the phone. When I called originally to request a quote and book the service, I left a voicemail and my call was returned very promptly.

Easy peasy. I emailed JLM through their website and had a response a couple of days later. The email contained the quote, $135, but with the $10 Angie's List coupon, it came to $125. After accepting the quote, we set up a date for service. The crew arrived mid-morning, performed the gutter cleaning very timely. Prompt, polite, punctual, solid service.

I made an appointment with this company for the time-frame of Thursday, between noon and 3 pm, after receiving and agreeing to their estimate. My concern involves a possible leak due to clogged gutters, so I signed up for the company's first available appointment.Today, I sat at home from noon to 4, and the company never showed up or called. I am a consultant who dependson being in the field to make my own money, so I lost hundreds of dollars today...and no one is answering the company telephone.Frustrating, to say the least.

Called them, set up a time over the phone, they showed up when promised and I did not have to be there. When I got home the work was done. They applied the Angie's List coupon even though I had not printed it out and left it for them. Great job, planning to call them again next year!

Scheduling was easy, and the guys showed up on the right day at the right time. Gutters were clean. The only issue I had was I thought the strainers would be about $3 a piece (like they are at Home Depot), but they actually turned out to be about $10 a piece. I hadn't planned for that - but it was probably my fault for not finding out exactly how much additional it would be ahead of time. I would hire them again.

This was an absolutely great experience. I was quoted $135 and reminded of my $125 coupon by the company so I only had to pay $125. From start to finish it was a great customer experience and I would recommend this company to my friends.

It was a good experience, they called me right back and gave me a price. They scheduled a time to come out within a week and called and confirmed a time frame the day before. Overall a great experience.
