JLM Gutter Cleaning Service

I used the Big Deal coupon for this service. I liked that they cleaned my gutters for $100. They were good with responsiveness and their professionalism was fine, but I did not interact with them at all.

We purchased a big deal coupon for this job and they accepted the coupon. We were very satisfied with the service. We thought their prices and services were good. We have gutters on two houses; one side is wood which is hard to fool with and the other is kind of hard to reach, on a Dutch Colonial. So we thought they did a very good job of handling both. We plan to use them again in the future.

They came on time. There was some misunderstanding. It could be my fault that I did not read the term carefully. I ordered gutter cleaning service for our 2 units condo assoc. They were not very happy when they found out it was not for a single family house, but the length of total gutter is not very long, probably shorter than most of the single family house, so they did it anyway. I am just not quite sure about their method of cleaning--blow the leaves away, not flush it with water. So I am not sure if I will use them again. Otherwise, they are fine.

We hired JLM through an Angie's list special to clean the gutters on our 3 unit condo building. JLM contacted me right away after my purchase, and scheduled a time to do the cleaning. They did a great job. I asked about gutter repair and they had some recommendations. I meant to follow up on the repair but never got around too it.

It was fine. I use them every year.

Company followed up immediately after I contacted them. Job was done within 48 hours following initial contact. No on-site estimate was required.

I used an Angie's List "special". GLM came promptly and as planned and cleaned the gutters. Since I did not go onto my roof, I can only presume they did a good job. We said hello and goodbye. Later, I received a bill from the company for additional money, probably because the roof was higher than the "special" covered. I really don't know. I have no particular praise or complaints because, as I said, I could not go on the roof myself and inspect it. They were at my house for 30 mins. or less.

They responded to my call promptly, scheduled with ease, showed up on time, did the job efficiently and effectively and left.

Work done seems to be good. Had a major problem with the fact that they didn't let me know when they were coming or that they had done the work. Disconcerting that people were here on ladders around my home without my knowledge. Also, I didn't know what they did or found until I contacted them again to ask when they were coming.

There service is very good. I signed an agreement with them and they clean the gutters three times a year (I'm surrounded by trees). This review was written January of 2013 so I'm going on two years with them. They arrive on a schedule and quietly do their work. I would recommend them to others.

I asked that if they were cleaning gutters that they come at the end of the season instead of the first week in October. He told me that was when they would be busy with their fooring customers but he would try to schedule it for later. He did not. I really don't even know if he did the work but there was a card left at my house so I assume the work was done. Not going up on a ladder to check.

They came and cleaned all the gutters, but walked all over the roof to do it. I would have preferred them to use a ladder. The work they did was fine; very thorough, but I would not hire them again. Ijust didn’t like the way they did the work.

The workers were on time, polite and effective.

They were very quick and punctual. No complaints on the job performed. The deal was a good one and we would set up a regular service with them for sure.

We have JLM come out twice a year to clean the gutters in late May and late Nov. We have a contract with them for the past couple of years and have had no issues - they show up and go about their business of cleaning the gutters of our 3-storey house and removed any debris, and then send the invoice. Everything has gone very smoothly.

Called for a quote and they took my address and had an estimate within a minute or so and set up our appointment to get the job done within that same week.

The company was very responsive and quickly set up a time for the service. The crew showed up on time, completed the work and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. Would definitely use them again.

They arrived and started blowing leaves from the gutters. The job took about 20 minutes. I was a little disappointed that they did not announce that they had arrived so I could observe the job and only on hearing the noise of the blowers did I realize that they were doing the job so really I did not see how much they were able to clear from the gutters.

Last year I used JLM for the first time under the Big Deal at $99. This year I just called and made an appointment. That part was easy. There office is easy to work with. However, I was home when they came this year. They clean the gutters with forced air blowers like for backyard leaves. There was little/no focus on clearing my downspouts..and I've had issues with clogging. They jumped from level to level of my roof which is slate. It seemed that they could have been more careful. They were done and gone 15 minutes after they came. The bill came the following week for $195, double the big deal price. Given the small amount of time spent and lack of attention to detail I'll go back to using my higher priced roofing company for gutter cleaning. At least they are more meticulous about downspouts and careful in general. This year with JLM at $195, I don't feel that I got what I paid for at that price.

I used a Big Deal coupon for the gutter cleaning. They came on the promised date, I was satisfied with their work. They followed up with a contract for regularly scheduled cleaning, but their price was higher than other providers who were just as thorough, so I did not sign the contract.

We had a downspout that was clogged up, and we asked them to clean all our gutters, and particularly to clean out this clogged up gutter. I had informed them of the exact place where the downspout was clogged before they came out to do the work. They came when we were not here, but since I emailed them my problem, I didn't think it was a big deal if I was not home. They came out and cleaned the gutters, but with the next rainfall, just a couple days later, I saw that the downspout was still clogged up. I took a picture of the problem and emailed it to them. They replied w/ a quote to replace the downspout. I didn't think we needed to replace the spout, just have it cleaned out. I replied with another email, and this time the boss called me to follow up. We set a time for him to come out and clean it personally, which he and his crew did, at a time when I was home. Since we finally got a cleared downspout and clean gutters, I was satisfied. I just wish they had paid attention to my concern from the first.

Don't remember exact details of cost, but know it was competitive. They came in and did the work. I was at work and so never had to worry about it. It was great. From my upstairs windows I can see part of the gutters and they did a great job. I would definetly use them in the future. I love copmanies that make it so easy for me, I don't have to even think about changing my schedule.
