Description of Work: I bought an, 'Angie's List deal' for a hot water heater flush and toilet tune-up for $59. Originally scheduled for 12/9, I was called by the company two hours before the appointment window to postpone the visit due to a weather-related emergency with another customer. I had to reschedule to 12/16 which was my next day off. On the day of the appointment, the plumber showed up right at the beginning of the appointment window, which was great. My hot water heater did not require a full flush, and only took the plumber a few minutes to check it out. My toilet required an adjustment to fully flush. It's working better, but still requires an occasional second flush. I have a problem with the sink sprayer in my kitchen. I asked the plumber to check it out. He took a look at it but said that he didn't have tools to fix it with him, so I would have make a separate appointment for that. All in all he was at my house about a half an hour. | | |

Description of Work: Our central AC was working very weakly. They looked at the unit (20+ years old) and found a slow leak. They said they could install a new unit for $7,000 or add more fluid for $500, with no guarantees on that. | |For the time being, I chanced it on adding fluid and had reliable AC for the rest of the summer and I'm crossing my fingers it will continue into next summer before we can save up for replacing the whole unit.

Description of Work: They replaced my Eisenhower-era boiler with one from this decade, fixed up the laughably installed valves and expansion tank that were there before, and upgraded an A/C-only minisplit to a heat pump version. | |While unfortunately the installers didn't bleed the radiators, leaving me without oil heat for a few days until the scheduled tech visit, I did have the heat pump which worked like an utter dream. While the old, 500+ lb radiator is still in my basement, I'm talking with Sila about scheduling removal (they know a guy)

Description of Work: Replaced inflow line and flapper guts on two toilets. Replaced washer assembly on very drippy shower. Responded quickly to new leak situation and fixed same at no cost. |Will definitely call them again.

Description of Work: Sila performed a point check on our gas furnace to make sure it was functioning properly for the upcoming winter season. Recommended future work but did not pressure us to schedule a future appointment.

Description of Work: They were unable to come on the day scheduled but called in plenty of time and rescheduled. We had them install the heating system and it works so much better than the old one. I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: I had a problem with the burner which required him to open a service call and was able to take care of it at the same time Anthony was the technician who also did my air conditioning inspection a few years ago and he is great. Service and Anthony was great and will definitely be using their services again. Highly recommend this company
