Description of Work: My air conditioner stopped working properly, so I called Sila out to look at it. The repairman, Anthony, was very professional and courteous (he even wore protective booties inside my house to protect my hardwood floors!). He explained what was wrong with the system so I understood and he explained my options. Apparently the freon was leaking and it needed a few pounds of it to work properly again. He suggested that the system was old and that I should replace the whole thing eventually (but he did not give me the "hard sell" that he could have, which would have made me uncomfortable). I was a little overwhelmed by the price of the service, though. I am a first time homeowner, so I am adjusting to the cost of things. So, I asked one of my neighbors who works in HVAC about my experience and the cost. It turns out that Sila' prices were much higher than the average, from freon prices to the service call itself. That said, this might be a case of you get what you pay for. I'm not sure with my limited experience. Bottom line: I am satisfied with the service and more than satisfied with the professionalism of Anthony, but be prepared to spend some money.

Description of Work: Great company representative who came on time, was professional in appearance, knowledgeable about Air Conditioning, and very courteous. I would use this company for any regular work. Once the representative measured the room, he said that the Mitsubishi unit in the deal wouldn't be sufficient to cool the area that I needed cool. After the Sila representative measured the area to be cooled, he said I would need a 24,000 BTU Mitsubishi A/C system, Model # MSZGE24NA, at a cost, excluding electrical work, of $4,767, which I couldn't afford. Description of Work: The original date for Sila HVAC to do the work was 7/27/2015 between 12 and 3 pm. I received a phone call from Sila HVAC on 7/15/2015 and was told that the work could be done that day. Ryan arrived a short time later and performed the service in a very polite and professional manner. My wife and I are very pleased because it has been hot and humid in the Boston, MA area this summer.
