Description of Work: Service cleaning went great - they did a terrific job and were very courteous. However, they urged us to replace our entire furnace and boiler system (15K+), which in the end wasn't necessary. Sure, a new system would be reasonable at some point, but not imminent, as they suggested. Another company replaced some parts and we are in fine shape. We may, however be proven wrong in the end, but let's hope not.

Description of Work: 22 gas furnace inspection - 2 units. This was an Angies list big deal. I have a 2 family home. Sila performed 22 point inspection on 2 gas units. Bled air from the systems. I have used them in the past for annual maintenance checkup and have been very pleased. Will use them again next year.

Description of Work: Once they actually came to do the work, it was great--professional and knowledgeable. It was a bit frustrating because I took a day off one day fro the installation, but because of a mix-up on their end, the person they sent was not an installer but another consultant. To their credit, they made arrangements to come that Saturday to do the installation, so I would have to take another day off. |It was a split duct a.c. so I haven't had the chance to actually use it yet, but I assume it will work fine.

Description of Work: Nothing. Service person said my system was too old (30+years) to service, so no work was done. Should I get a refund for this?

Description of Work: Extremely professional! I had approx 5 different contractors consult for a fairly significant job (replacing my gas boiler and hot water heater). They had a solid system, excellent communication, competent workers, plus an engineer came by after the install to do thorough tests to ensure everything was working properly. I'm very impressed. Plus they worked with me honestly in terms of reasonable pricing and financing. I truly recommend these folks highly.

Description of Work: I initially wanted an AC system repair, assuming it would run about $500. The AC did indeed need to be replaced--SILA weren't the only providers I talked to and everyone agreed. SILA did, however, say they were not interested in replacing my AC if they did not also replace an aging heat system. We agreed. Total job ended up being closer to 19K than $500, but the AC has been wonderful and for the first time in 25 years I feel like I'm living in a comfortable house.

Description of Work: furnace inspection excellent

Description of Work: The guy told me that my furnace system (Lennox G20 WhisperHeat) is not supported (no parts availble he said) and he just measured the efficiency and the CO at the exit. No cleaning was done. I was expecting for him to at least inspect flues which he did not. I was told to install a new system. Is this a ploy for a new system sale?

Description of Work: Had problems with temperature regulation of two of my two radiant heat zones. Plumber came out and diagnosed incorrect mixing valves placed years ago when installed and replaced with correct valves as well as cleaning up existing plumbing. Also flushed involved zones and checked heating system. Everything works well.
