Description of Work: Very punctual and professional however their estimates are 40%-50% higher than their competitors. Wait time on repairs are also longer then competitiors. Great if you have an AngiesList coupon to us otherwise you will get similar service half priced elsewhere.

Description of Work: I was having issues with my force air furnace, constantly having to reset the controller. I purchased an offer on here for a tune-up and inspection to hopefully fix whatever was wrong. Ended up replacing the igniter and electrodes for an additional cost. Other services were offered but declined. Everything was running fine for day or so then started having issues with the controller tripping and having to reset it again. That lasted for about a week before it got so bad the furnace wouldn't stay running long enough to blow hot air at all essentially leaving me with no heat whatsoever. I called my oil company to have someone come out and check it out. The tech quickly found my furnace was starving for fuel when I had a sufficient amount of oil in the tank. It was found that the oil filter that was replaced during the tune-up was left loose and ended up sucking air into the line. Was it a coincidence that one of the services I declined by Sila was installation of a tiger loop to keep air out of the fuel line? I think not. The tech from my oil company was wondering why they would offer me a tiger loop when the oil tank was no where near far enough away from the furnace for their to be a concern for air getting into the line. The tech from my oil company tightened the oil filter back up and purged the fuel line. I haven't had a problem in the 6 months since then. Other than the fact I think Sila was trying to get more money out of me by deliberately leaving the oil filter loose, they did good work. Maybe rating them a B might be too high for my experience but I wrote this review for future potential customers to help make their own decision. The money I saved on the Angie's list offer still more than covered the cost of subsequently having a tech from my oil company come out and in the end I still saved some money so maybe that is why my rating of the work was a little generous.
