Well done. Neat work. Friendly and professional technician. There was a bit of a mixup on the timing of the appointment from the office side, so it did not start until 2 hours later than scheduled, but usually Sila is prompt. There was no payment for today's work as it was part of the cost of the original installation. Sila is not the least expensive of its peers but the work is well-done and they are fair. They do not charge for rectifying an issue with earlier work and work with you to address the myriad issues that can arise with trying to keep a home's key systems running.

Sila employee showed up on time. Was very professional. He cleaned my boiler before winter, which he noted had not been cleaned in a very long time (it was my first winter at a new condo). I will hire them again for regular maintenance on my HVAC equipment

They told us that a few parts were very worn and we could wait until A/C failed or do ahead. We opted to do ahead. Very bad mistake as our entire system once turned on went down. They refused to take responsibility for the failure that ultimately cost us $1000's..

I've been a loyal Sila for 7+ years. I have them come and tune up the A/C in the spring and the same for the boiler in the fall. This past fall they came and gave the boiler a good once over and said we were good to go all winter long. A week later, I was downstairs and noticed water pooling by the boiler. I called Sila who did send someone out to look at the leak. The tech said it had probably been leaking for quite sometime. I asked them to prepare a quote to repair it and the tech assured me it would be a quick fix. When I did get the quote I was shocked. They were going to charge me a call out fee of $89 PLUS the labor and parts to repair something that just a week ago had been given a clean bill of health. I ended up speaking with the manager Jake and he would not budge on the $89 callout. Then I asked him about the price of the parts and found out it's standard procedure for Sila to have almost a 200% markup on parts!!! Needless to say I was extremely disappointed as I felt I was being taken advantage of despite being a loyal customer. We used another plumber who came in and fixed the leak at a fraction of the cost.

Service was performed very well by Sila's resource. The only (hope minor) issue was that there was a mismatch between the part numbers recommended the the manufacturer for the bowl and seat. The resource had to call office to ask what happened. They convinced him the bowl assigned was superior to the one suggested by the manufacturer. Price is a little expensive.

Not Good, I hired a well established firm after Sila charged me hundreds of dollars with no results, Sila tried to sell me an entire a/c replacement. The Sila team claimed they added 3.5 lbs of coolant. . Not the case. They were, i felt Sila representaves were pressuring me to replace my rntire a/c system. Faulsly documented my hvac unit was faulty. Not the case. What I learned from that experience is that Sila employees are not licenced and untrained. At that time the initial quote was of over 10k. At the end of the day I only required coolant and had no leaks. Buyer beware

This was performed in a rental unit of mine where I do not go often. When I went back to see what they had done 6 months later it appeared that the job was half done and the basics like changing filters were not completed. Disappointing, I won't use them again.

I was very pleased with the service. The technician performed a very detailed check of the system and he also identified some issues with the wiring that he quickly fixed.

John G arrived promptly for the appointment and was very helpful describing what actions were going to take place. Suggested future repairs or service which was very helpful. Service was completed in the estimated time and done well. Would highly recommend.

I really appreciate how organized Sila is. They were able to get me an appointment the week I called, and provided several time options. They call 30 minutes before the technician arrives. Ken came and checked our furnace, he was professional, friendly, and took the time to explain some things about the furnace to me. I would definitely recommend Ken, and Sila!

The weather was bad and I was notified by Sila with plenty of time that there would be a delay for arrival. Guy arrived actually earlier than was estimated. He checked out the burner and looked at the baseboard heating units on the second floor. It turned out that there was an air lock in the system and with further inspection, there were parts that needed to be replaced. Guy shut down the system, replaced the parts, bled the radiators on the first floor and then checked to make sure that the heat was working throughout the house. He completed all the work in the estimated time, was knowledgeable, thorough and professional. I have used Sila in the past and been very pleased with their performance and will use them again in the future.

We have a heating service contract with Sila and had our annual scheduled service call on 2/26/19. We've always had excellent experiences with the staff who have serviced our furnace, and today was no exception. The technician, Guy, came promptly and very efficiently performed the required testing and measurements of the service procedure. Before he left, I asked for some information about future replacement of the burner and possible changes to our heating zone arrangement. He gave a very clear explanation of what to consider about making any future changes, what might potentially be involved, and answered all of our questions knowledgeably. Thanks to him we can proceed with our decision process with better understanding.

Terrific experience. Scheduling was easy. My technician, Guy, gave me a call ahead of time, hit the time he said he'd be here and was courteous and efficient. I ran a large mechanical contracting business for years so understand this business. Guy ran through his checks on what is a fairly complex home system. He pointed out problems that were minor, major, or had the potential to be major. We discussed options and timing. Since our system is old, it will be difficult to repair some of the parts and pieces while others would be fairly standard. We may want to look at a new system this summer to avoid a major problem during a future heating season. I will definitely be talking to Sila.

Guy was very courteous and professional. He was great about answering questions. He worked quickly and flushed our boilers and installed a new thermostat. I would have Guy come to our home again!

Michael Leonard was assigned the warrantee service call. He came on time and was organized, knowledgeable and very professional. He installed a new thermostat for no charge and alerted me to a potential water heater problem. Without any pressure involved he recommended replacement and provided me with a replacement quote for the water heater they installed a little over 10 years ago. I will definitely keep using Sila.

Excellent! David and Eric are top of the line plumbers. I’m a high end interior designer in Boston, and highly recommend them for ALL EFFORTS involved. Sila is an excellent company! Always on time, always returns calls, customer service top notch. I had to replace my HVAC system this past summer, and Brian is also top of the line, and enough can’t be said about his work ethic and professionalism! And Josh who did the installation was fantastic. I will be hiring them for future jobs without a doubt!
