Santana Electric was exceedingly punctual with communication, estimates, and in doing the actual work. Dan communicated clearly with me throughout the process and engaged me in decision-making as the work moved forward. His estimate was well below that of other quotes I received...and he still managed to come in under budget! The quality of the work was exceptional, and Dan puts emphasis on coming up with innovative solutions when removing knob-and-tube that require as little demo work as possible. Honestly, I'd be hard pressed to be more enthusiastic in recommending these guys; they're awesome.

Went great. They showed up when they said they would (no small thing - considering 4 other electricians didn't!) They were here for a shorter time period than we expected, and did a beautiful job! The inspector came the following week and cleared everything quickly. We've been using our spa since and have been very happy. We would certainly hire Santana again for electrical work and we will recommend them to everyone we know!

My experience was Santana has been outstanding from start to finish. I contacted them on Angie's list and within one or two days Dan was at my house going through my laundry list of wants and needs. From the very first time I met Dan, I knew he was a stand up guy and most importantly, loved doing what he does. It's important to note that my house was built in 1928, so the walls and ceiling are lath and plaster. Being someone that has only owned older homes, this was a concern of mine as working with this material is very challenging as it can crumble if you don't know how to handle it. Back to my experience with Santana. The estimate was sent to me timely. It wasn't the cheapest, but it wasn't the most expensive either. What's important to me when it comes to picking a contractor for this type of work is competence, professionalism and passion. Dan had all of those based on the other reviews on AL and my one interaction with him. So I elected to go with Dan to completed the work. Dan and his co-worker, Juan, showed up to my house approximately 3 weeks after I agreed to his estimate (He actually could have came by much quicker but I was dragging my feet because I was waiting on other estimates and the slot he had waiting for me was filled up). I've already given a description of the work, so I'll just give you a description of the type of work he did. Dan and Juan are artists. There's no other way to describe them in my mind. They love what they do and they do it very, very well. They caused zero damage to the walls while installing the switches and outlets (See pictures). When I went to check on the work, I'd walk in the guys smiling, having fun and telling me how much they love working on older house. That said, if you have an older home that needs electrical work, these are the guys. Dan even went above and beyond and installed an additional motion activated LED light in my linen closet because "it didn't feel right not to have one in there, too". I couldn't have agreed more. Additionally, I had one pop up item I wanted the guys to install and they did it without batting an eye. Overall, this transaction couldn't have gone any better. Dan, the owner, is prompt, professional, detail-oriented, passionate, customer-focused and a overall awesome dude. He loves what he does and earns every penny of the money that is charged (The estimate even came below budget!! When does that ever happen!?). So if you want the job done right, timely and with passion by people you can trust, these are your guys. Thanks, Dan and Juan! We're more than pleased with the outcome.

Santana Electric was very professional. I found this company through Angie's list and sent them an email. They responded right away and I made the initial appointment to get an estimate for the job. They came into my home and conducted a thorough review of the room and indicated how best to install the light and the ceiling fan. At that point they gave me an estimate for this job, which I thought was a very fair price. At that point, they were very prompt at calling me back and setting up a date. I am very pleased with the job they did! Fantastic! Prompt and very clean, as they vacuumed up all the mess from the installation. I would hire these guys again. Santana Electric was prompt, courteous and efficient. They came in, did the work they were asked to do (in a quality manner) and were on there way. I emailed Dan about an electrical problem we were having. Major appliances were no longer getting enough power to run. I got an immediate email response saying that he would call that evening, which he did. After discussing the issue, he decided that he should come to work on this right away. He came early Saturday morning. He found that there had been a very slow water leak coming from the outside into the box. There had also been a recent fire in the electric box and melted some wires. This was a dangerous situation that could have been much worse. I am so glad that I called Santana Electric. He fixed the box then to make it safe and made sure that appliances and the oil burner were getting sufficient power. He also fixed the water leak. Dan then scheduled another appointment where he installed a new box and rewired everything making it completely right. Santana Electric is very prompt, efficient, responsive, professional, more importantly, they do great work. These guys are great!

We needed an estimate to update electrical in home built in 1909 due to insurance reasons. We were provided with a quick and simple assessment of possible issues and reassurance that all wasn't as bad as expected. He also gave us various scenarios of the minimum vs maximum of the work that would be needed. This I greatly appreciate with all service matters. Appointment was at a specified time and was professional and courteous to contact me with an estimated time of arrival via a phone call and text. Both he and his vehicle were professional and clean and took no time to get straight to doing the assessment. Did a walk through from basement to attic and even looked over several key areas, like the light fixture, outlets and switches. Was able to keep things simple for a wanna-be-handy gal like myself. My father had done a few things that were sketchy in our eyes but Dan was able to provide some humor on it, that took some of the hue of embarrassment down a bit. all in all the appointment didn't take a lot of time. I would strongly consider him for any work we may need but of course this all depends on his schedule and our timeline.

Dan has done several jobs for me and has always been professional, reliable and reasonably priced. Dan identified that we needed a new line for our electric dryer and was able to do it for us on relatively short notice.

Sanatana was responsive, efficiently communicating and scheduling via email and calling the day of service. Because of the location of the line, they had to return with a bucket truck. They were prompt, professional, and got the job done.

Dan Santana performed the work efficiently and provided additional information on the operation of the thermostats, even though I had provided them myself. He kept me informed of his progress the day of the visit and confirmed the time he would be able to come in. He was courteous and professional.
