Great! Problem was solved.
Description of Work: My furnaces pilot light was only working sporadically, but most of the time was fine. We never knew when we'd come home from a long day at work, or a long weekend away, to a cold house. Another company had come over multiple times (at a cost each time) but never solved the problem. Hurley and Davids' worker came over and was ready to leave when it occurred and he figured out the problem. And yes, the problem had occurred when the other company was over, I'm so happy to have this fixed and am reliably warm again. Thank you Hurley and David!!

Description of Work: I was extremely unhappy at the service call and subsequent sales call. I was told I needed a new ac unit. I was set up with a sales call that was so pushy I decided to get second opinion. When the new service company arrived it took them 10 minutes to diagnose and $100 later my ac was working perfectly fine and has continued to do so! This second call saved me at least $5,000. Very dissatisfied and felt like I was being sold "a bill of goods".

In looking into the call it looks like our technician made a mistake when he was diagnosing the trouble with your air conditioning system. After you had your second opinion we gladly refunded your service fee due to our error and your dissatisfaction with our service (as we would do for any client that we could not completely satisfy). The technician that performed your initial call is no longer with our company, however, I will be sure to cover this misdiagnosis with our team to ensure that we double check all conditions that we diagnose as a failed compressor in the future and will ask them for input as to what error could cause this. I truly believe that this was a mistake by our technician and send our sincere apologies for the time and aggravation that this error caused you. All went well, as always.
Description of Work: We are on service contract with H&D and they come in twice and year and service our systems (heating and AC; two furnaces and two AC units). We are very pleased with the technicians; they know their stuff and make sure all is checked, adjusted and is ready for the next heating or AC season.
