Description of Work: There are not enough kind words to express my gratitude to the Cabrini Movers Company!! Starting with Lance setting up an appointment, with William on many of my phone questions and his professionalism handling the estimates to our closing the deal on the move! |The Movers; WOW Stephen, Scott (loading and delivery and off loading) and Abner (loading); I have never seen a crew that worked so well together on both ends of move; it was a pleasure having them around. Always polite and did everything requested, over and beyond. Even my Son here in FL was amazed at their work ethics!! Thank You to the whole crew, start to finish was never a headache for us, we were always kept at ease by everyone. Special Thanks to Stephan and Scott; job more than well done!!

Description of Work: We had Cabrini pack our large house, which took 2 days, and load 2 ABF U-Pack trailers. The crew worked continuously and packed things very carefully. I was amazed at how well the U-Pack trailers were loaded. They definitely saved us some money on space used. I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: They arrived when they were supposed to, worked very hard thew whole time, and also very carefully, and were reasonable with their charges.

Description of Work: I recommended this mover to my daughter after finding them on Angie's List. They were VERY professional and efficient and she plans to use them again and highly recommends their services to others.

Description of Work: Lance, Stephen and their teams provided a first class service for our large (3 bedrooms, Living, Sunroom) move from Amherst, MA to Lansdowne, VA. Thanks to a coupon in Angie's list the total cost was below the estimate and below what I had budgeted. Unloading the 12,000 pounds or so to a 7th floor apartment at the end of a long corridor was a heavy affair they fulfilled without a hitch.

Description of Work: Approx. 6 week before the date in question, I met and discussed plans and cost of making an out of state move with the Cabrini Rep. Dates were finalized,estimated payment agreed on, and airfare ticket purchased (in order to meet the movers at the destination). Four days before the event I call Cabrini to confirm what was previously arranged, only to be told that the move was not going to happen, many flimsy excuses were given. I even went to the office and had face to face dialogue. Bottomline, they tried to "broker" my account to another mover to which I disagreed. Needless to say that I was not and still isn't a happy mover.All my plans went up in smoke because of their incompetence.

Description of Work: Cabrini Movers was the recommended company on Angie's List, but the move was performed by 2 companies: Cabrini Movers did the assessment and estimate and Lippincott Van Lines did the actual move. William, from Cabrini Movers, was wonderful. He was very communictive, well-informed and accurate with his estimate. Dan, from Lippincott Van Lines, was great. I had my 2-bedroom (4 room) apartment all packed up and it took him and his 2 guys just over 2 hours to carry everything out and load up. I was the first customer in line for unloading, so my stuff was delivered in 2 days. The guys were very efficient. My only "comment" is about the office staff at Lippincott Van Lines. Dan gave me the total sum for which I was to get a bank check. I had to have the bank check in hand for my furniture to be unloaded. I gave Dan the check and my furniture was delivered. 3 days after the delivery, the Lippincott Van Lines office called to give the total that was due, even though I could not have gotten my belongings unloaded without it. Also, the sum the office quoted me was $470 less than what I had already paid. It took 4 weeks of phone calls, but I did eventually get the $470 I overpaid refunded. The move was excellent and hassel-free with that minor exception. I would still highly recommend both companies.

Description of Work: Primary goal was to move a piano from East Springfield,MA to Amherst, NH. Also moved a hutch and bed frames.

Description of Work: They did not pack anything. I was under the impression that things would be boxed up. I had to pack it all in boxes by myself. I was told there was going to be 3 movers which would have decreased the time spent moving. Instead they had only 2, which increased the overall moving time to an extra 2 hours, that I had to pay for. Then I had to go to my apartment and spend time packing the rest of my things up. The worst part of this is that I had to pay $700.00. HORRIBLE

Description of Work: I had a very problematic move and the people at Cabrini were wonderful. They went out of their way to help and even though the amount of items move proved to be more than they thought it would be, they stuck to the price. I could not move in to my destination which was not a factor in the original quote. Instead of moving everything off the truck and charging me for that service, I paid for the rental of another truck, which was much cheaper. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: Cabrini moved a two bedroom second floor apartment and an over packed basement area for us. We had quite a bit of things to move including a washer and dryer, there were no other appliances, and we did have things well organized for them.

Description of Work: Moved a spinet piano from one house to another about 10 miles away.
