Description of Work: Dave came out to evaluate our computer problem on January 13. He spent a great deal of time with us to see what our needs were and how we used the computer. He offered us multiple options including his taking our computer home and seeing if he could resolve the problem and possibly avoid purchasing a new computer. He called us within a week to let us know that he had solved the problem and the computer was working fine. He delivered it to us on a Sunday afternoon and again spent a great deal of time with us. He installed a new malware program and attached a permanent back up, as well. He even took the time to answer some questions I had about our lap top. Although we were charged for the initial service call, that was credited back on the final bill. Dave is knowledgeable, dependable, professional and makes computer language understandable to a novice like myself.

Description of Work: Installed new hard drive on laptop. Transferred all files from failing hard drive to new drive. I was very pleased with all aspects of service and will definitely use again as the need arises. [I had previously spent %60 with another company on the North Shore who could not figure out what the problem was.]

Description of Work: After weeks of frustration i checked Angie's list for someone to look at my laptop. The reviews regarding Fast-Tek convinced me to call them. Josh came as arranged, on time, and after approximately 1 1/2 hours he had my HP running better than ever. IE was the big problem and he put me in on Google Chrome as well as cleaning up a lot of clutter . He explained everything he did and made sure i was happy with the results before he left. I wholeheartedly recommend Fast-Teks to anyone having computer problems. Definitely a Grade A .

Description of Work: Cleaned up both laptop computers software and fixed issues with slow down. Installed my 6500 wireless HP printer on the network and on both computers. Took computers outside and cleaned all the dust and stuff out of the insides. Got BitDefender working on the computer it wasn't working on. Getting same day service was a big plus

All of the many, many files, photos, and music were restored (3 times on hard drives) to be sure I didn't lose any. Compiuter worked fine, faster, and without virus. Very satisfied with service. This took many, many hours of his timebut charged me for 2 hours.
