Dave is always prompt, responsive and professional. My computer's power supply failed and Dave was able to replace it, install a new solid state hard drive and reinstall my programs/data from my back-up (which Dave installed at an earlier date) and clean everything up all for MUCH less than it would have cost for a new computer. I called Fast-Techs because of a complete monitor blackout. Couldn't even get a BIOS screen. I spoke with Dave Thibodeau. He listened carefully, and understood the likely cause of the problem. He would have been happy to resolve it over the phone, had that been appropriate. As a result of the initial conversation he was able to bring the required part, a video board, with him so did not have to make an additional trip. He came to my home. His arrival was as close to the predicted time as I could reasonably expect. (Unless the tech knows exactly how long each service call will require, it is almost impossible to be absolutely precise about this.) He kept me posted re TOA. He was professional and courteous. He did a couple of extra things to improve security and computer performance, but only after being sure that I was OK with that. I also learned some things. He would be a good teacher. His rate was somewhat below what I have seen from other vendors. . I felt it very fair. The computer has worked perfectly since he left.

Dave and I talked on the phone for a little while and I was able to later work out my internet connection issue after he and I did some troubleshooting. He did not charge me for the phone call since I was able to finally work out the issue on my own, but he was helpful in guiding me through the troubleshooting process. He also gave me a tip on how to boost the internet strength in my house. All in all, Dave has been very prompt, professional and thorough when I've needed his assistance. He was kind enough to not charge me for the recent phone call since we were not sure at first if the internet connection was related to the Dell computer or my home connection and I was able to fix it myself.

The job started with the search for the router which was difficult to find. He then worked to get my old computer and printer to work together and identified a glitch in the printer which prevents the wifi from being used by the printer. Along the course of his work, he addressed my questions about the useful life remaining for both the computer and the printer. Both are over seven years old. Dave's skills went beyond the task I sought because he has a wealth of knowledge about the technology driving computers, printers, etc.

He was very available and responsive. He was punctual, and professional, and spent an hour and a half doing the work at my house.

David Thibodeau,area director for Fastteks worked tirelessly for two solid hours on my windows 8 HP all in one desktop.Multiple persons had tried to help me but failed.He was able to pinpoint and address and solve the problems related to my issue. Spent two hours setting up my new laptop with all the programs and downloads that I requested along with all my documents from the previous "crashed" laptop! Dave is an experienced, knowledgeable, reliable computer "doctor"! Have used his services since 2009! All work done in MY home!

The service was excellent. The gentleman who came was prepared. He was on time and pleasant. He knew what he was doing. It was just a very pleasant experience. He actually solved the problem very quickly and asked us if we wanted him to do some additional work and we said, "Sure. Why not?" He was great. I would like to let other people know that he comes to your home and we were very comfortable having him here. It is a good thing, because they don't pick up the computer and go. They service it in the house. So that was one thing and he seemed to be quite knowledgeable, he is also communicative. We did get a discount because we did find him through Angie's List. I think his standard fee is a bit north of $100 an hour. I'm not entirely sure. I can't remember, but I felt like it was worth it as we rely on our computer so much. He could have done it much faster. It's just that we said, "While you're here why don't you download some programs for us?" I have no hesitation to recommend them.

The tech arrived on time, was very professional and explained things very well. This is the 2nd time I've used them. Absolutely would use them again.

I have Comptia A+ certification and my computer problem was more than I wanted to tackle and risk loosing data which I should have been backing up. Tech came to my home. After some work, decided to take it back to his office and returned it the next day. I was never able to get windows office working properly on the original operating system and there are still some glitches on the reinstall that the tech wasn't able to correct. Most likely a windows problem , not a tech shortcoming. Very reasonable price after my $100 Angies list discount.

Both operations went well. David was very knowledgeable, thorough and professional. I only gave a Quality grade of B because somehow during the upgrade in August he lost all of my previous emails that were saved. It appears that it might have been caused by how the email program was originally set up on the desk top, but there was no way of knowing that after the fact. As upsetting as it was to lose all of the emails that I had saved, David felt every bit as bad as I did and did not charge me anything at all for the upgrade even though he spent hours with me doing all the work. He also offered me computer support through 2013 as a complimentary service, which I did need off and on for a little while. Other than the email issue, everything went very well even though my desk top is a bit older. David was even able to set up my outdated printer with the new Windows 7 upgrade. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Fast-teks. It was very convenient having David come to my home to perform all of the work he did for me. He was prompt and responsive by phone and in person and had I needed to pay for all of his services, the fee was reasonable.

The lap top had issues with its operating system. We're currently waiting for the replacement from the manufacturer. Dave was great during the installation, he is very knowledgeable and professional. Most importantly he was very patient.

Dave fixed the problem and provided me with additional help with software and backup. Excellent service and made a difficult situation easier because of his responsiveness and results.

I'm not sure whenI had this service - The worker was prompt and friendly. When he found out how old my dinosaur computer is (12 years) I felt he kind of wrote it off. He did clean it up, was unable to get the speakers working which has recently suddenly stopped and basically felt that I should get a new computer and that it wasn't worth putting any time/money into. MY computer is still running so I have nothing to complain about, They offered me a free computer set up should i ever get a new one and need that. We'll see how it plays out in the future.

After an electrical storm Comcast came out because we lost phone, internet and TV. The Comcast tech said nothing was wrong with their modem and he got my phone back on. I checked Angie's list and I AM SO GLAD I DID!!!!! Dave from Fast teks came out on Sept. 12, 2013. He tried a few things first before determining that he would have to open up the computer. Well the mother board was gone but he was able to determine that my hard drives were still intact. He uploaded all my data from the hard drives to some devise he had with him. I bought a new computer the following day and he returned on Saturday to set it up and upload my data. However, we ran into a glitch as the Comcast modem was not working 100% and he could not hook up to the internet. Thankfully, he brought his own modem with him. After spending quite sometime on his cell phone with Comcast he was finally able to get his modem working with them. He got online, showed me the new Windows 8, even GAVE me a flash drive for backup and installed a program that allows Windows 8 to look and act like Windows 7. He spent countless hours here, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and I was embarrassed when he gave me the bill because I had expected it to be much higher. I will go to no other place for computer problems and/or questions.

Dave took control of a stubborn antivirus installation. He was efficient and professional going above and beyond to get to the root of the problem. I was left with a clean, smooth running laptop and would definitely recommend his services to family and friends.
