The drain was clear but water and sludge was sent threw another vent pipe which stained the wall and the ceiling. That same concoction sprayed over all of my appliances and items in my pantry causing massive clean up for which I am still finding items with sludge on them. Some time later after he left I found that the water pressure in my sink where he used the air gun was extremely low, which I suspect was a direct result of this procedure. So I contacted h and he said he would come and look at it but he would have to charge me for a service call. So I told him his services would not be needed.

Everything went perfectly. He showed up in time and was able to do the job right away even though it was a bit more complicated than expected.

He was professional, timely, and charged a fair price. I am definitely satisfied with his work. I would call upon him again.

Happy with quality of work, job was done quickly and with no hassle to homeowner. Would have liked a little more detail on what was done just so we could describe it in the future if needed, but not a big deal. Provider followed up with instructions on how to prevent issue from happening in the future. Also, he was running a little bit late but called to let us know which was very much appreciated. Would hire this provider again.

Everything went smoothly. Rob was very professional and did everything I requested. I would highly recommend him.

Bob called to say he was on his way....arrived shortly thereafter...came to the door to introduce himself. I directed him downstairs to access the interior water shut off for the spigot he was to replace. When he was done he came to the door and I asked him to check my downstairs toilet. He obliged and said it seemed fine but it was an old (25yrs) and if it did start to have issues, it would be best to replace it and I could certainly give him a call.

The issue was fixed improperly. It does not work smoothly. It is bent and off-centered. He made a huge mess and chipped a Corian counter of mine. He was flaky. He initially tried to charge me $156 and I had already bought the part. He still charged me $105. This plus the $49 I paid to Angie's List is $154, I don't believe I got a deal. He also used my materials including my plumbers puddy.

When I called to schedule an appointment he told me he couldn't come all the way to Plymouth from Weymouth. He said it was too costly for him and that he told Angie's list a number of times there were only certain areas he would cover. Then he asked if there was more work I needed so I could make it worth his while. Since I drive from Plymouth to Boston everyday I don't feel the distance to Plymouth should have been a deal breaker. My first experience with Angies List and it will likely be the last. Hope I get my money back.

Rigg's was professional, thorough, worked well, tested the work, and cleaned up when complete. As well, Rigg's followed up by telephone and email to check on our satisfaction with the work done. Great experience. I'm contemplating installing an HVAC (central air system) and replacing my gas furnace with Rigg's this spring.

It went very well. He was very professional. I was appreciative that he came out and done the work in such short notice.

Rob had performed several small plumbing repairs around our house in recent years so we decided to call him when our hot water tank started to leak. Rob showed up on time and gave us a quote to replace our tank with a new tankless hot water system. He showed up the next day, removed the old tank and set up the new system the same day. We have been enjoying long hot showers ever since.

Great! On time, professional, fast, and very good price. Would definitely use him again. And, he's local!!

When R.Riggs said he could renovate our small and only bathroom we unfortunately hired him based on our previous experience with him (he repaired a leak from bathroom sink). A job expected to last 2-3 weeks in July continued in an agonizing manner until September 1, 2012. His first major blunder was attempting to level the floor. His poor skills resulted in an uneven surface with craters! He slipped and fell tearing the shower curtain down. Cement remains on a hall closet door, wall and carpet. The next day he had tile guys come and do the job right. The only item he was asked to purchase was the window. The only style he was asked not to purchase is the one he got. Initially, we attempted to grin and bear it but realized we would not be happy with a double casement window. We ordered a double hung window which took 2 weeks for delivery but did not delay progress. His work habits accomplished that. Although he called us his top priority he was unable to come at the time he chose. His solution for this was to say he could come between 9a-12p every day. And he frequently left for lunch after being here for 1 1/2 hours. His workday was frequently 3-4 hours. Frequently he was out buying supplies. He said it took 5 tries to find the right size nozzle. Another time he forgot his ladder so he called it a day. Then he forgot he had an appointment. and couldn't come. On a Sunday night he called to say the tile guys were coming the next day as planned to install tile around the tub and he needed to know the design that was chosen. He was told horizontal. As communication was found not to be his strong point, the tile guys were given different instructions. We were able to work it out and they did a good job. We did not expect a plumber to have difficulty installing a shower, toilet, or tub spout. But he did! He installed the American Standard cadet 3 toilet without following the instructions on the box. He broke parts that came in the box and used his own. He said, "it was a piece of junk and he could not guarantee it". He saved the box so it could be returned. He suggested we put the old toilet back. So far, 10 days later no problem. But he certainly did not instill confidence in his work. Nor would he give us the broken parts as requested. He claimed the tub spout that was purchased came with the wrong directions. Therefore he had to use a different one that he was more familiar with. When asked to provide these instructions he was unable. He spoke to the reputable store that apologized and provided us with what Riggs wanted. By the way, while we were running to the store to get it he went to lunch. The salesman said that what he wanted might not work with this system. Upon Riggs return, it was strongly suggested that he install the equipment originally purchased. He did figure it out but not without mishap; a pipe in a bedroom closet broke. His response was, “it will dry in a half hour. “ We had a fan blowing on it for three days. His attempt at inserting the floating shelf in recessed area in wall was a fiasco. We asked him not to touch it. Again he was rescued by the tile guy. If it had been given to the tile guy at the appropriate time it would not have been left for him. He left a buildup of debris in every room and in front of the house. He needed to be told to discard it. Of course he left the house without doing this and needed to be called back. We were extremely happy to see him leave on Sept 1. We will finish the paint touch ups he said he took care of. We will fill in the exposed staples around the door. We purchased quality fixtures and tile that look very nice but we had a terrible summer putting up with him!

We had water seeping up through floor outside bathroom and in kitchen behind refrigerator. I originally thought it was radiant heating in the floor leaking. I called oilman who did fix a small leak in the furnace but said the main problem was the refrigerator. The refrigerator repairman said the frig was fine and to call a plumber. I did and he told me it was from the toilet being loose. He fixed it and the leak persisted. I called Rob Riggs who responded quickly. He carefully and methodically searched out the source of the problem and fixed it. He explained everything he was doing and patiently answered all questions. He was thoughtful and professional. Job well done!

I recently searched the Better Business Bureau for a reputable plumber in my area and came across Rob Riggs from Riggs Plumbing and Heating. I hired Rob to install a spigot to the front of my house. He ran a frost free pipe for me to the exact location I wanted it. He was friendly, on time, and quick. I am very happy with the results and would recommend Rob to anybody who needs a good, reliable plumber.
