 + -1 moreIT TOOK THEM JUST OVER 5 WEEKS TO DO WHAT I WAS TOLD WOULD TAKE 2. THE BLUE BOARDS WERE HUNG WITH A CENTER (EYE LEVEL) CUT SPACER INSTEAD OF AT THE TOP OF THE WALL. THEY DID ONE COAT OF PLASTER. THEY DIDN'T PUT DOWN TARPS AND DIDN'T CLEAN UP THE FLOORS. IN A COUPLE PLACES I REMOVED BOARDS BECAUSE INSULATION WASN'T DONE. JOE IS QUITE THE BS ARTIST. HIS EXCUSE FOR THE LONG TIME FRAME WAS THE FACT THAT MY BUILDING HAD A GREAT DEAL OF SETTLING (TRUE). I THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE THEY WERE ONLY WORKING 4-5 HOUR DAYS. IN JOE'S DEFENSE, HE DID WORK A COUPLE WEEKEND DAYS. HIS BROTHER MIKE (THE STILT WALKER) WAS VERY BUSY WITH OTHER WORK AND UNABLE TO COME ON A REGULAR BASIS. THE END RESULT DOESN'T LOOK BAD, BUT MY HARDWOOD FLOORS HAVE GONE TO HELL AND TOOK $500 JUST TO PREPARE THEM FOR SANDING. NOT THE BEST EXPERIENCE BUT I GUESS IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE.
Description of Work: HUNG 110 BLUE-BOARDS ($25 / BOARD WHICH COMES TO $2750 LABOR $1100 MATERIALS)IN 2 GUTTED APARTMENTS (1000 SQ/FT) AND PLASTERED ($2K EACH).
