"Joe and his crew completed 90-95% of our project (mostly a patio) back in November/December and said theyâ d â of courseâ come back in the spring to complete the work. Joe asked us to pay the remaining 50% of the contract because we were the only work they had at that point in the season and, since it was the week before the holidays, he wanted to â take care of [his] guys.â My husband and I thought it was a nice sentiment, so we agreed - though, I did email an outstanding completion checklist to set clear expectations for the spring. Iâ ve texted, called, and emailed for 3+ months to no avail. So, keep in mind that even if he does complete your project, his one-year warranty means nothing! I will gladly revise this review if he reaches out and we come to a satisfactory resolution, but as of now, my next steps are filing a complaint with the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, contacting the AGâ s office, and if needed, filing a small claim for the amount Iâ ll need to pay a different contractor plus compensation for my time and stress."

"Experience: Sent to Steadfast Builders on October 4, "I have an area of 40 square feet in a bathroom that needs flooring installed. The toilet and vanity have been removed and a plywood subflooring is added. I have white oak unfinished wood to be installed and the paper to be put down on top of the subflooring. I am ready for the install and can be flexible on the schedule. My preference is to do the job ASAP." Te installer continually changed his bid claiming our verbal conversations were very different from the actual discussions. He later claimed that all materials were to be purchased by the customer without any estimate provided and claimed this was always the way their projects were run. Stephen was very pushy and even became verbally aggressive after covering a vent with building materials claiming he did not believe the duct outlet to be necessary, Plumbing was a major issue. Steadfast Builders did not provide a licensed plumber claiming their plumber was on a different project. There was a faucet removed that Stephan and the other installers pretended to be very difficult and time consuming. I suspect this was just an act. Even though the install included plumbing to be done, a licensed plumber was not involved at any part of their install. The plumbing work had to be completely redone. In the end I said, "I don't like it." Stephen made no response to this statement and did not suggest a solution."

"We hired Altitude Builders to replace an existing deck that was old and rotting. After vetting out several contractors to decide between composite or pressure treated wood, we found Eli to be professional, straightforward and reasonable when it came to our ideas on what we wanted in a deck. His timeline and pricing was the best. He presented us with all requested documentation (contractor license, insurance, and contract) and started on the day he stated. Project went slightly longer because we needed additional footings and extension beyond the original scope of work. At the end of each day, the site was clean and nothing was left out of place. My deck is solid, sturdy and beautiful! His workmanship and professionalism were wonderful. We will be using Altitude builders again for additional work in the near future. Highly Recommended!"
