Description of Work: I had seen a mouse in the kitchen and a few days later, my Jack Russell Terrier woke me up in the middle of the night chasing a mouse in my bedroom. She cornered and caught it in the closet. We had just moved into a150 year old house so mice are no surpirse, but I hate mice (they carry bad diseases). I purchased the Angie's List special.

A week later another service man came and spent a lot of time trying to find the nest and then was able to kill all the ants. They were very professional and punctual.

Description of Work: Purchased a "Year Round Pest Control Package" in April for $299 using an Angie's List Deal. I didn't make an appointment until this month due to other issues coming up that I had to attend to & put paperwork aside . Last week when I realized I hadn't contacted them yet, I e-mailed them to set up a time for an initial visit. Stacey replied promptly & they came out a few days later. Vitaly was very informative & explained in detail what was covered & answered any questions I had. He also told me that the protection plan would start from my initial visit today & not from when I had originally paid for the service. I have an in-law apartment in my basement & since there is an additional kitchen in house he told me if I wanted to also have them spray the interior of the additional apartment it would be an additional $100. This was fine with me as the in-law apartment is as big as the top floor. Since I was in the process of making some changes in my house & having furniture, boxes, etc all over my living space, he told me there was no problem to just spray the exterior now & I could call them back in a few weeks when I was ready for them to spray the interior.

Description of Work: Purchased an annual contract for pest control. The goal of the first visit was to eliminate an active carpenter ant infestation, place mice traps in the basement, and to find old termite damage and determine whether an infestation was still present. The second visit was to spray for ants and spiders and to determine whether carpenter ants were still present. The third visit was to address service issues with the second visit.

Description of Work: I was charged $100 over Angie's list price because of "the size of my house". My house isn't that big. The work was o.k. but I still have wap nests and rodents running around so overall not a great rating for this company.

Description of Work: Squirrels had entered my attic through a gap in the roofline. I hired P & S largely because they had a significant deal on Angie's List for the pre-winter package. Paul came out quickly assessed the situation and set out traps for mice in my attic and basement, as well as other areas of the house. He sealed a number of gaps in my foundation where mice could enter the house -- and had been. However, they do not do animal removal, and that I had to call another service to complete the job. So I had to call Bay State Wildlife Management and pay another $1,200 seal the attic space properly, install a one-way door so squirrels could get out and not in, and screen my louver vents along the gutter line. Since both services came I haven't had a problem. My only dissatisfaction with P&S is that they did not tell me on the phone that they would not remove wildlife and that they would not do work in the attic. I could have saved myself a week or more of damage to the walls and wires if I had just called Bay State first. I still would have need the rest of what P&S provided, but it was less pressing than getting the squirrels out.

Description of Work: They did a micro injection of pesticide into the outside door jam of the three season porch which is where the carpenter ants where seen coming from. They also sprayed the first floor baseboards and basement as well as the outside perimeter of the house. The $50 coupon covered the micro injection and the spraying inside and out was $299

Description of Work: The representative sprayed for carpenter ants. I was sure I had seen flying termites but after asking questions- I didn't have a dead one to show him- he determined that what we had seen were actually flying ants. As it turns out he was right because a few days after he sprayed the foundation, I found a dead one and it was a flying ant.
