Description of Work: My chimney was leaking water into my basement. Josh came, looked at my chimney on the roof, took pictures and showed me the cracks. They came back in 2 weeks and ground out the old mortar and repointed the joints in my chimney. They came back in three weeks to seal the the bricks and mortar. I was very happy with the work.

Description of Work: Due to a misunderstanding of the Angie's List offer I purchased 3 inspections/cleanings for my 3 flues. This was unnecessary, I only needed to purchase 1. The 2 extra offer prices were applied to a chimney cap which was installed a few weeks later. Overall I was very satisfied with the service, but wish Angie's List was clearer on the offer itself. |

Description of Work: We bought this home a year ago and finally were able to have Josh out to clean and inspect the chimney. He discovered that the sleeve that goes up the chimney from the wood burning stove only went a couple of feet beyond the stove and therefore the chimney was out of code. We decided to have the wood burning stove removed and Josh then cleaned the chimney and installed a new damper for us so we can now use it as a fireplace which is what we wanted all along. We saved the wood burning stove just in case we change our minds down the road. Josh was very knowledgeable, always on time, friendly and got the job done in good time. I would have loved more communication, phone wise, but no complaints on the job done! Very happy! Thanks Josh!

Description of Work: They cleaned the chimney. I also asked about replacing a missing handle on the damper. They were able to get one and called me to let me know and installed it for me. This handle had been missing since I bought the house and I had asked other fireplace, woodstove and chimney professionals about it but no one was able to help. So happy to have it working correctly now!!!
