Merlin Handyman

We had to do a number of small repairs around our small condo building. Merlin gave us a good price and got the work done within the timeframe we needed. We had to make these repairs for insurance purposes. I would recommend him for any small handyman jobs. Some of what we had done could have used more extensive repairs, but Merlin was able to give us a quick fix for the time being. For example - there was some rotted wood around one first floor window. Another contractor who gave us an estimate said that the reason was that the window had not been installed correctly in the first place. We opted not to do the more extensive work now, but that was not even something that Merlin offered if we had wanted it. He did exactly what we asked him to do, didn't try to sell us any more, but also didn't always point out some of the underlying issues.

Bob was efficient, meticulous, and on time. When the paint I had picked up didn't match up with the wall color, he went out, color-matched the paint, and picked up new paint. All in all, we couldn't be more pleased with his work and reasonable prices.

Bob did a very good job, and came back two weeks later and touched up in spots where more paint was needed. Bob's work is of very high quality. Bob is extremely professional, and also gives his honest opinion about what is required for the job.We gave him a B for responsiveness because he is very busy and so, it takes him a couple of days to respond. However, he will definitely respond. The first time we called him, we did not hear back for two weeks, and then he returned our call apologizing for the slow response since he had been on vacation. We would use him again anytime.

Nice work, on time and cleaned up well, quiet and got right to work

Initially I was having a hard time to find a good handyman who is willing to do projects both big and small. Until I found Bob. Very pleased with his work quality, professionalism, and fair pricing. Highly recommended. He will be my go-to person for any future handyman work, and you won't go wrong by using him for your next project either!

Showed up on time, assessed the issue, and then resolved it. Took 2 hrs. Very courteous, well-spoken, and assisted in fixing the problem in a timely fashion. The only challenge I had was in finalizing the work date. From the time of my first call to the time when service was performed, a significant number of weeks passed by.

He was a little difficult to reach but he responded to the messages I left. He did the job efficiently and for a very reasonable price.

I contacted Mr. Merlin by phone and arranged for him to inspect the office to provide a quote. All the details were arranged by phone, including informing Mr. Merlin which colors were needed and where they were to be applied. He used the brand of paint we requested. He appeared punctually at the appointed time to do the job. He retouched the areas that needed to be retouched. He also responded graciously to a request to redo a certain area. All in all it was a good experience and I would work with him again.

Bob was thougtful and professional. He contacted me promptly even though he was tied up at the time, and then set a time to come look at the setting and plan the work. Once we set a date, he stuck to it and arrived right on time. In the interim, he had done some experimentation to figure out how he could make sure the brackets were hung solidly, with no damage to the bricks. The results look lovely. I would definitely recommend him to others.

I have used Mr. Merlin on a couple of occasions. He is honest, reliable, neat and reasonably priced.

Very strange. He came to give me an estimate and was interested in doing the job. He said he might have the estimate that day but if not, definitely by the end of the next day. He called and I called him right back. I called again, I emailed, and never heard from him.

Merlin did a great job/completed work

He is a very professional and pleasant guy. Even my 3 year old got a kick out of him. This is the second time we have used him. If you want something done fast, Bob is not your guy. He is very meticulous and very thorough. He did a great job on our deck. It was in shambles. He came in a little over estimate due to needing more wood to add support but his price is very very fair.
