Merlin Handyman

Bob Merlin did an excellent job - He kept the area cleaned, he worked steadily and quickly! He is also very responsive on email and telephone so as to work around our schedule as easily as possible. The paint job was for the detailed wood work in our hallway (banisters and trim) and they are perfect!

Everything went very well. Responded to request right away to set up a date. Spent a full day putting together the furniture, a lot of tedious work. Did not leave until the job was done. Did a great job. Cleaned up afterwards. Very pleasant and I was very comfortable going to work and leaving him in my home. This is the second time I have had work done by Bob and would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him.

Bob's work is always excellent. He is punctual, efficient, and considerate about getting the work done without causing inconvenience. He is also very good at problem-solving -- like the fix for the air conditioner mentioned above. I suppose it is because he does such excellent work that he is very busy, so it sometimes takes a while to get on his schedule, but once you set a date, you can have confidence that he will follow through.

Bob responded to my call quickly and his hourly rate was very reasonable. He arrived on time and worked very efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. I highly recommend him for any small projects you need to have done around your home.

Bob is great! he did thorough prep and very neat painting for us, as well as other misc. handyman work. he is really clear about what he can/can't do for you, and told me in one case that i was better off calling an electrician for a particular request. if we ever need more interior painting done, or certain types of handyman work, i'd call him in a second. in fact, i did call him for advice one time, though he ended up not needing to help us that time. Bob shows up when he says he will - we found him to be very punctual, trustworthy, and neat. no problem trusting him with a key. we've referred him to a neighbor and she was pleased too.

Bob painted the walls and trim in my little back bedroom. I'd guess it is about 9' x 11' or so. He did a fabulous job. I found Bob on Angies List when I was in desperate need for someone to rehang my kitchen cabinet that had fallen off the wall and was dangling dangerously over my gas stove on one or two nails. Bob fixed that back in early September for $120. (That's why I reference "carpentry" above.) Bob is really nice. I also feel comfortable with him and could leave him in my home while I went to work. Bob Merlin is terrific. He was very responsive to my initial inquiry and very kind, patient, and polite with learning the scope of the job and communicating the estimate. His prices were very reasonable, and his work fantastic. We recently moved out of our 2-bedroom condo and needed work prior to putting it on the market for sale. He painted the exterior porch and the entire interior (including trim). Very good work - no drips or messy paint. He also power-washed our back deck and it now looks brand new. Re-caulking of the tub also made it look like new. He purchased the cabinet/drawer pulls and closet door for us and installed them expertly. He started and completed the job in the time frame he initially indicated and is very trustworthy. We plan to hire him for some projects that we need done on our new home as well. I highly recommend Merlin Handyman.

Merlin Handyman has done wonderful work for us for the past 5 years. He's the consummate professional who treats our house like his own, who always comes on time & who charges reasonable rates. We've already booked him for our next project.

He did a good job. He was fast. His price was very reasonable. He was very professional.

He came in right on time. Was polite helpful. Definitely went the xtra yard as its an old Victorian and he had to measure and then get the glass cut to specification. A throughly nice man and an excellent workman. i would hire him again in a second and strongly reccomend him.

He did a great job of installing a fan in the kitchen. He seems like a very honest guy. He’s just a great guy. He’s very hard working and he got here on time both times. I didn’t have to wait around for him and he seemed very fair. The power wash was about $450. He’s very good and that’s why I like him a lot. Actually he’s very 3.48. I would absolutely use him again in the future. As a matter of fact, I’m sending him a message right now.
