This was an Angie's List deal for 2 hours of handyman services for $79. Luis called me promptly, set up an appointment, and was right on time. He is very pleasant and professional at all times. Easy to communicate with and interested in pleasing his customer. He got right to work and completed the job with his tools and skills. It was a pleasure to work with him and I plan to make a list and call him for more work in the future.

It was great. My house was a little outside of Luis' range, but he honored the coupon anyway and got out to us in spite of having pulled the special off Angie's list because he had gotten plenty of work. Luis is a super nice guy and a gentleman. He did a terrific job, and had to work around a couple of stumbling blocks, which he did with ingenuity and ease. If we hadn't moved out of the area, I would definitely use Luis any time I needed a handyman, he was great.

Was punctual and completed what was asked.

Luis was a bit difficult to schedule but otherwise was great. Work was done really well and I think he took pride in doing a good job.

He was very friendly and easy to deal with. He got the work done and it looks great. It hasn't fallen off the wall. I guess the only bad thing was it was a little strange with how the deal works. We haven't done a review because we really don't know how to feel about that.

It turned out pretty well with Luis Jara Home Improvement. He did the job well and he was definitely a good craftsman. He wants to do good work and if he sees something along the way which is not part of what you discussed that he feels will contribute to the expense, he tells you and some little things, we liked all that.

He was fine. I paid more than the price for the Big Deal as there were other things. I don't even remember what he did, but he was great.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for Luis Jara Home Improvement. The service was alright. The deal was for 2 hours of work and he didn't really do that much. This guy, it seemed to me that to fix a drawer and doorknob, took 2 hours. To me, it felt like this is something any handyman could do in an hour. So I expected the 2 other things should have been done. I'm not thrilled but what he did, he did well. He arrived on time, was respectful, responsive. Maybe it took him 2 hours to fix the drawer and the doorknob because he had to leave and get some parts needed for the drawer.

It went very well. He did all three jobs quickly and professionally. He had all the right tools he needed to perform the work. He also cleaned up after he completed each job. I would call him again and recommend him to my colleagues and neighbors.

We purchased a deal for two hours for $59 and asked Luis to come by and replace a severely damaged front door frame. The job took more than two hours to finish but Luis was friendly and did a great job. We hired him to come back and do more work for us.

I purchased a big deal which included two hours of handyman services for $59. Luis returned my phone call right away and set up an appointment to come to my house. He fixed our front door that was falling off the hinges. He was very nice and did a good job. I would definitely use his services again.

Luis and his coworker were very prompt with returning calls and scheduling the work dates. They notified me what they required to perform the work (materials to acquire) and they arrived on time. The installation of wire to prevent bird nesting was a loosely defined task, but Luis and his person took to the task immediately with no complaints or objections. They assessed the situation and handled the installation thoroughly and improvised where necessary, due to space constraints, etc. Overall, I am very pleased with the job they performed. The following week, Luis and his coworker took on the task of sanding, repairing, priming, and painting the original wrought iron fence in front of our townhouse in the South End. Though the fence had been seriously weathered, their efforts have brought the fence back into good repair. There were no unpleasant "surprises" with Luis. He provided estimates in advance and stuck to his quotes. He is affable and positive, and interested in pleasing his clients. I would hire him again.

Very friendly and polite. Showed up asked what needed to be done, completed the job in no time, cleaned up, had all the materials with him. We will definitely keep him around for future projects.

Luis Jara Home Improvement was pretty good in communication, if he was running late, he would call. He was professional, courteous and helpful, he would do exactly what we wanted whether a big job or small job. We decided not to go with him because we did the work ourselves. He was very responsive and the only thing that I had didn't like was that we agreed that he would come out and go over the quote and say what he was going to do and how and after the whole process, he wanted to charge me for an hour of coming out to give a quote. He said he had informed me about me but I don't remember that so I am not sure if there was some kind of miscommunication or maybe I didn't hear him.

I can not say enough great things about Luis Jara. I just moved into to an apartment and need little things done did not know where to turn so i found him, Not only did he do the job but did it well. He was very resposive to all my needs and was respectful and nice. I have given his card to others. If you need a great handy man Luis Jara is your guy. I could not be more glad i used him

Dont expect 2 hours of actual work when you nuy this deal.

We asked Luis to make sure all the windows were closed in a rental apartment. Some of the windows were not working and the storm windows were left open by the tenants. We also asked him to give us an estimate on the cost to repair the broken windows so they will work well in the spring. He closed all the windows and fixed the storms that had been incorrectly closed for $59. He also gave us a price for the repairs that he will begin shortly. We were very impressed with his skills and professional attitude and have already had him do some additional work.

He did an excellent job on both projects, cleaned up well after himself, and was a delight to work with.
