Gave me a window of time between 12:00 and 3:00. Showed up on-time. Performed work in a speedy manner. Was able to fix "dryer squeal" and did general tune-up.

Jimmy took the time to explain the problem and repair in understandable language and with a nice manner. My relative's comment was that "he was a pleasure to do business with".

He did so some things to make sure that he initial diagnosis was accurate before he left. He was right on and I was able to fix my dishwasher by giving it a good cleaning with Dishwasher Magic. I was really happy that I called them because he educated me on things that I could do to prevent further issues from happening.

Our oven stopped heating properly and was getting progressively worse. I have had previous experience with this vendor so I called them and was able to get on the service calendar for the exact day I wanted and the service person arrived in the window promised. He was quick and polite and diagnosed the problem and was able to make the repair (replace ignition) that day. Stove works better than ever now and it's got a few more years left in it (it came with the house as part of a remodel the previous owners did in the 80s). Very pleased.

Very easy. I got an approximate quote (they wouldn't give a specific one until they were sure the belt was the problem); scheduled an appointment; they came, they fixed it, they left.

Repairman came when promised (two days after phone call, in the middle of a four-hour window), charged $55 for visit (I was told this up front), diagnosed problem, ordered parts and said he would have them within two business days. Called me back at the end of the day to say he had the part and made appointment to come back within two days. Came back, quickly replaced motor, blower, fixed problem with dryer hose. Cost for second visit was $275 parts and labor, which is what he estimated. Dryer has worked like new since. I would definitely call them again.

I called Harrison Refrigeration based on the reports on Angie's List. They were very responsive and returned my call within an hour. I was able to schedule someone to come on a Saturday. The repairman was right on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. It took him less than an hour to fix the oven by replacing the igniter.

We had a problem with mice, and discovered droppings in our very old stovetop and that the insulation in the stovetop had been "tampered with." I took pictures, put them on my laptop and brought them into the store and Jimmy looked through them all very carefully and helped me think about 1) whether I needed to replace the stove, and 2) the most affordable way to do so. He spent a lot of time with me, and ultimately decided it was worth a service call to the house ($45) to see if the stove needed to be replaced immediately or if I had time to think it through and save some money for it. He was very honest, friendly, and patient, and their prices seemed very reasonable.

He was very helpful in letting me know that the stove I wanted was out of stock (the manufacturer wouldn't be producing again for a few weeks) and encouraged me to check with larger stores in case they had them. I ended up ordering those items from a supply store. Peter was so nice and helpful, though, that I went back to them to order a washer, dryer, and 2 pedestals. Again, Peter was helpful over the phone and was super responsive. The appliances were delivered for free on a Saturday @ exactly the right time. The delivery guys were nice. They attached the pedestals to the washer and dryer (for free) in their delivery truck. They seemed to scuff up the washer a bit on the way in, but since it's in the basement, I let it go. I will definitely check with Harrison before ordering from anywhere else. Prices are as good as or better than the big appliance stores that I checked online, and he billed my credit card on delivery day.

After finding Harrison via Angie's List, I called Peter because of worrisome noises in both appliances. Fernando came out to do triage: my front-loading washing machine was dead (the part that turns around had sheered right off the axle!), and my dishwasher needed a new motor. He was very professional and knowledgeable, educating me about some dish-washing issues at the same time as diagnosing. We made an appointment for dishwasher repair, removal of old washing machine, and installation of new washing machine, which they had in stock (cheaper than I saw it online). All the work was done when promised, on the same day only a couple of days after the triage, in a speedy, professional, yet friendly manner. Fernando had to take out the dishwasher, turn it over, and practically dissect it in order to get the new motor in. Bosch makes things unnecessarily difficult, apparently. By the end of the day I had started my backlog of laundry. I am very pleased.

The repairman was professional and easy to work with. He showed my husband how to replace a belt himself so we wouldn't have to call a repairman the next time (it's a fairly easy job once you know how to do it). The only problem was in scheduling. When I called Harrison to set up the work, I was told we would be the first repair call on Saturday morning, at 9:00. But the repairman says he was told to put us third on the list, so he didn't show up until 11:30. Consequently, we were late for a family event.

I will need the part soon but was able to put it off temporarily because of this company's ethics. They know I'll be back, and that I will tell everyone who asks that they are the real bargains. You get more than you pay for.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH HARRISON WAS EXCELLENT. NOT ONLY DID THEIR SALES REP, PETER PAPPAS, MAKE AN EXTRA TRIP TO CORRECT MY MIS-MEASUREMENTS OF MY KITCHEN SPACE, HE ACTUALLY SOLD ME ON A CHEAPER/SMALLER STOVE THAT WOULD FIT IN MY SPACE AND STILL MEET MY NEEDS. HE THEN COORDINATED THAT WITH MY NEW DISHWASHER AND FOUND and SCHEDULED THE PLUMBER TO UN-HOOK THE OLD STOVE, REMOVE THE OLD TOILET, AND THEN, AFTER MY NEW FLOORS WERE LAID, TO RETURN AND INSTALL THE NEW TOILET, DISHWASHER AND STOVE. THEY WERE FRIENDLY, AVAILABLE, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS. THEY HAVE A VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE ATTITUDE. THEIR OFFICE STAFF, CATHY, IN PARTICULAR, WAS AMAZING WHEN 'CRUNCH' WEEK CAME FOR ALL THE WORK TO HAPPEN AND ALL THE SCHEDULES TO WORK. WHEN THOSE INEVITABLE SCHEDULING CRISES OCCURRED, SHE WAS A MODEL OF 'GRACE UNDER PRESSURE', EFFECTIVELY HANDLING AND RESOLVING PROBLEMS THAT AROSE WITH HUMOR AND DETERMINATION. A GREAT GROUP TO WORK WITH. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
