I bought an Angie's list coupon for Gary's services. He emailed back right away and was able to diagnose the problem the following day and repair it the day after. He was prompt, courteous and did a good job. What more can you ask for?

Gary was super professional. Upon arriving, he showed us all of his licensing and certifications. He explained his diagnostic process and provided a clear recommendation and next steps about how we could figure out if it was a faulty circuit breaker or a problem with the wires. He recommended replacing the circuit breaker first (the source) which was the cheapest option to see if that was the issue which we appreciated. He could have easily went with the more involved, more expensive option, but he did the right thing, at the end of the day, the problem was solved. And because he was professional and honest, I will definitely be calling him first the next time we have any electrical issues. Having a trusted electrician is worth a lot, and I'm glad we made this connection via Angie's list. He also gave us a deal, passing through the cost of the new breaker and only charging a hour of his time.

lWe purchased the Big Deal for two hours of electrical work. Gary called me back the very next day and was at my home to inspect the job because it was more invoved than a two hour job. He scheduled the work for the next day. He arrived on time, was very neat, worked rather quickly, and did an excellent job. Gary is concerned with doing the job right and not cutting corners. He did an excellent job and we'd be happy to have in back in our him again for more work. It was a pleasure to work with such a professional that cares about doing things well and right.

Not so good. The installer was unprofessional in everything. He gave me a quote, changed it when he could not fish the wire and asked if he could come the following week. When I asked him to finish something he started, he started yelling, swearing and in a fit of rage. Something totally unprofessional. I had to calm him down. He and his brother were slow and talked a lot instead of doing the work. He called me as an owner that I was sheriff watching him do his work. Without finishing the job, he made me pay 50% for probably 30% of the work he had finished because he knew that I would not call him back. I hired another electrician who came next day and finished the installation in 2.5 hours. I have never been yelled at as a customer and was deeply disappointed. I just wanted the job done.

Gary was very professional, was happy to explain the work he was doing, and fixed my problem with ease. He arrived on time and immediately showed me his license, insurance and credentials. He quickly found the cause of the problem, explained to me what the issue was, and fixed it quickly. The outlet is now working perfectly, I feel safer, and I am confident in Gary?s work. He was very easy to work with and I would recommend him without reservation.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and overall it turned out fine. He was very nice and they did a nice job. The issue was that he did not show up without his brother, so it turns out you have to pay for two people so if I have somebody here for an hour I have to pay for two hours because there are two people here. Even though the brother is helping him I am thinking I overpaid because I could see that sometimes the brother was just standing there watching him because there was not enough for two to do. He explained to me upfront that's how he works, but in a sense that was too late because I had already purchased the Big Deal. Other than that he was nice and they cleaned up after themselves. They did a good job so that part was fine. It should have been clear in the Big Deal so I would have known before I bought it. It ended up being a lot more expensive than it should have been because of the situation I have described. He was very professional.

It was late Thursday afternoon and our GC was installing our kitchen when we realized we were missing a high amp socket since the stove and cooktop were separate units. I got on the phone and desperately called about 25 electricians in the Boston area. One by one they laughed at me when I asked if they could come out that evening. Finally I reached Gary who told me "I was heading home but I'm turning around and will be there in 20 minutes." He came through the door ready to attack the job and wasn't wasting time. He gave the GC instructions to start the prep and we jumped in the car to buy the necessary materials. He finished things in record time and watching him work left no doubt in my mind that he was clearly a master of his trade. I highly recomend Gary and sincerely appreciate him helping me out when I was in a bind.

The appointments had to be rescheduled because Gary was not on time or had something else come up. When it finally came to have them come and work on the issue we were promised both Gary & his brother but only his brother arrived because Gary had something else come up. His brother spent time over explaining what he was doing vs. working. We tested a rewire of the outlet and went through an ordeal with having a piece of equipment replaced to see if that was the issue. In the end the issue was not resolved. However, I will not use their service again to fix the issue.

I was very pleased. He showed me all his insurance and he educates the consumer very well about everything. He is very professional.

I purchased a big deal from them and they did an excellent job.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was a nightmare. I had to pay another $300 of top of the deal. He said that he knew how to put up the lighting and it was no problem. He came and took down the old lighting and then he kept saying that pieces were missing and he kept reading the instructions. Then all of a sudden, he said he didn't know how to put up the new lighting and that he had another job to go to so he was going to have to leave. I complained and told him that I had showed him the lighting when he came to do the quote. I've since had another electrician in and there were no pieces missing. He kept going on so I told him to just leave. It took a long time to schedule. He had over a month to find out anything he was concerned about for putting up the lighting. He canceled multiple times before he finally showed up. I didn't get anything for my money. He was very responsive in calling me back when he had to reschedule.

I called them to set up an appointment, but never really got anywhere. He was a nice man to speak with, but we couldn't come to an agreement on the price for the work. He came over to provide a bid and I knew the work would go over what the Deal allotted, I didn't think the project would take the amount of time he said it would, and he also didn't reply as quickly as I would have liked.

The provider was very initially very responsive and came out to look at the job. He was very professional during that encounter, and promised to provide us an estimate. The provider then apologized later for not providing an estimate do to various incidents that delayed his ability to do so, but promised an estimate later. We never heard from the provider after that, and moved on to another provider.

Gary was very responsive and very professional from the beginning. We discussed the electrical issues in my family room over the phone, and he came out the next day to check everything. He checked the connections and assured us that they were safe, and he checked all the light bulbs and replaced a few burned-out bulbs. Furthermore, Gary was friendly and his price was very reasonable.

I called Gary Ferzoco Electric because Gary had done some work for me before and I was really happy with the quality of his work, his attention to detail and the pride he takes in the work. I recently had my kitchen repainted and the plugs and switches were the old tan types which looked old and dingy. I also wanted new trims and a new track light. Gary came out and we talked about the work. He had some ideas about the recessed light trims and the best type of track light to give me the best lighting. I then went to Home Depot after scheduling the work. On the day he was to start, Gary was here on time and ready to work. He put up my light and changed my plugs and switches. He did not make a mess and he cleaned up after himself. He was personable, respectful and a real professional. I added more to the work and asked if he could change out the fan in the living room which he did for an upcharge but that is to be expected. Luckily, he had the time to do it!

UPDATE: A second engagement with Gary hasn't ended as well as the first. Gary did come and put in some grueling work on a hot day to install a vent fan and vanity light in a bathroom and rewire switches to make these work sensibly. He also installed a GFI outlet. After departing, we noticed that the vanity was not centered over the sink and was mounted too high. To his credit, Gary returned quickly to remedy this. This is where it went downhill. I discovered subsequently that he had run wires around the back of a stud (and abutting the wall in the adjacent room) rather than through it. This creates issues with whatever we'd like to do on that wall in the adjacent room. I called Gary three times to speak to him about my concerns but I never received a call back. It seems I will need to pay someone else to remedy this. Needless to say, I will not be working with him again. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gary and his brother were very professional and diligent about their work. They did what they said they would and in the time they expected to. I feel like the work was of an exceptional quality and I will definitely be calling him for jobs in the future. The only hiccup was some initial miscommunication and delay in hearing back from Gary. He was very apologetic though and did what he could to make it right.

Gary was punctual and performed the work requested exactly the way we wanted it done. I was not home at the time and he went out of his way to make sure he answered all of my wifes questions and show her what he was doing and why. We purchased the service with a discounted deal but we would certainly have Gary come back if we need more work done.

For the job that they did I was pretty happy overall. The price was close to another bid and their quality was great.

Gary is very professional, personable, and competent. He explains what he is doing, any issues he runs into with an older home, what things will cost and when he can get the work done. He communicated very effectively about when he would come and he did exactly what he said he would do. Wonderful guy too. He will be the electrician we call from now on.

We were never able to coordinate a time that fit my schedule.

Gary, a master electrician, is a wonderful professional to do business with. He answered my email, scheduled an appointment for an estimate, gave on-the-spot estimate, and scheduled the date for the work to be done. He was punctual and a pleasure to have work on my home. Gary is a true professional as he is the only contractor that I know that produces his license, explains his insurance certificate, and educated me on the entire procedure to be done. I truly appreciated the way he took the time during his estimate to show identification and his qualifications before he even seen the job to be done. He is an excellent communicator, both by email and by telephone. He did an excellent job with the installation and I will have him back to do further electrical work in my home. I highly recommend Gary to all members of Angies List, you can not go wrong with him.

From February 14, 2013 when Gary responded to my e-mail about purchase of $75 service from him, it was an extremely frustrating process trying to firm up appointment with him to do the work. Endless excuses (very innovative and outlandish) till he finally did the work on April 12. He has a pattern of stringing people along until they finally get fed up and forego the service (despite having paid in advance). I could go on at length -- but don't want to waste any more of my time on this. Suffice to say, it was the most frustrating experience I have had with ANY contractor.

Gary was very good to work with initially and completed all of the work on time. He was also very helpful and even accommodated one last minute request. However after the dimmable lights were installed when the lights are not turned all the way up we started noticing frequent flicker. I tried to contact Gary several times to ask if he could come take a look at the problem with the full understanding that it might be an existing wiring issue in the house. Unfortunately Gary never returned my calls.

Gary was pleasant to work with and gave me a very professional presentation when I first met him. He provided me with a fair price and went way above and beyond to complete the work when some underlying issues were uncovered - without increasing the price for me. He addressed some long remaining issues in a way that will serve the condo well in the long term. He was also highly responsive to me when I pointed out something after the job was complete that merited his attention - he returned the next day and fixed it. My only reservation was his responsiveness between the initial consultation and scheduling the service. He disappeared for a bit and I had to do the legwork to get him to call me back and get a date on the calendar. I think that he's resolved some of the issues leading to that lapse in responsiveness and I imagine he'll be fine in the future.

From the call to Gary to the finished work all went well. I liked Gary's work and his brother Gary too. I am from a family of electricians and I thought the work was top notch as if my dad or brother would have done it.
